I'm using Firefox 88.0.1 for Linux on a Chromebook running OS Ver. 91.... which uses Linux 5.4.109-26059-gc7455b8ce0e0 right now - but started on Ver. 88 or something and whatever version of Linix that used. Anybody know why I can't turn the title bar off and why the screen rendering generally looks a bit flaky? I'm guessing it has something to do with the display manager that Google use and that it's not responding any of the Firefox settings. I've tried all the easy stuff like the title bar check box and other settings in about::config

Any ideas?

Many sites do not have sign in on their hostname site. Without the full path, Lockwise does not come up/autofill. I tried the suggestion offered here to no avail. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1320590

https://auth.band.us is all Lockwise will save. Choosing email sign in brings up https://auth.band.us/email_login?keep_login=false which Lockwise does not recognize. I hoped setting signon.includeOtherSubdomainsInLookup = false on the about:config page would work but it does not.

Hi, It appears my firefox account was comprimised, and they where able to gain access to all stored info and saved logins casuing major damage.

All accounts have since been secured, and in process of recovery from effected sites.

With the browsing history logs, it looks like it has tabs for the date it was added and when it was last modified, but not actively used, are these meant to be by default?

It would also be a nice feature to see which device was used to access the webpage, as i have had to wipe 2 computers as a precaution in case the either was hacked into, if i could of seen which one, this might of been preventable

If it could say for example Site Device Added YouTube My Device 1 12-05-2021 Gmail My Device 2 11-05-2021 Amazon unknown device 11-05-2021

Action can be taken sooner

Looks like feedback site is undergoing changes, so i can't suggest there.

Regards, KG

I have been using Firefox as my browser for years to open my QVC account. Last night, while looking at my QVC account I tried backing out of the page I was on and I could no longer get back into my account. I tried using another computer and it worked fine. I also tried switching to Safari and again I could log into my account. I am using a MacBook Pro. I tried to refresh Firefox but that didn't work.

I can see the main QVC webpage but have no way to access my account or even open QVC. Firefox is working for everything else that I access.

Thanks for any help you can provide me.

While using google in Firefox, it seems that business phone numbers used to show up in the panel to the right of the search results with information for the specific business/location but this is not showing up for me. Firefox is my default browser so I checked on Chrome and Edge, both using Google search engine and the phone number displays. (See attached example screenshots of each browser searching a local Lowe's)

Does anyone know the cause/reason for this and if there is a way this can be included in the panel in Firefox? It is very convenient to have this display here instead of navigating to the companies website contact info. Thanks

I'm trying to figure out what on earth is wrong with this software. After installing the latest version, unbeknownst to me, after an hour or two of usage the browser fails to connect to any website, at all. Upon closing and re-opening the browser, I'm prompted that "you've launched an older version of Firefox" my bookmarks and history is corrupted, I need to create a new profile. Once the browser actually opens, I check the version, it's now reverted back to 87 where, it begins this absurd cycle all over again, downloading and installing 88.01.

What is this, only compatible with 20h2? My system does not yet have this.

In order to stop this madness. I've removed it, installed v74, threw a policy.json file together to block this from updating itself.

Eine Textdatei mit dem Editor erzeugen. Die Datei deaktivateFireFoxUpdate.txt nennen. Den Folgenden Text hineinkopieren oder schreiben:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox] "DisableAppUpdate"=dword:00000001

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox] "DisableAppUpdate"=dword:00000000

I am pretty sure I'm the only person in the whole world with this problem because I couldn't find this issue in any search engines including Google.

I used that online site (I forgot name) to make a new Firefox theme (just fiddled around colours, images etc), but didn't commit and closed Firefox and forgot about it. Now everytime I open Firefox, that same theme takes over whatever theme I have selected or the default theme. I can change to other themes fine but when Firefox restarts, it reverts back to that theme. I don't understand why something I didn't even save is taking control like this. I don't want to delete/reset profile or re-install Firefox.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Restricted Mode on Youtube, which had popped up on my laptop about two months back, was driving me crazy, so I decided to redownload Firefox from scratch, which only made the problem worse, as some of the settings such as customizing search engines couldn't be changed anymore due to a network administrator. Changing internet connection points doesn't help the situation either, as none of the settings' availability change.

Hello, I can open firefox but I can't access any website. Firefox is completely blocked. Just a blank page. I can't access "option" or any other tab. I can't access internet. Since I'm not a developer I've decided to download a new version but can't seem to delete ALL the files from the previous firefox so when I upload the new I get the message impossible to execute the code VCRUNTIME_1.dll which isn't found. I don't know if it has anything to do with the problem but the "new" Firefox shows exactly the same issue. I can't access internet. I even tried to download, after deleting the firefox on my desktop, a firefox for businesses but the same message and the same issue. I've tried to delete absolutely all files Firefox from my laptop so I could download the browser as if I never had it on my computer but I'm not successful so the same issue shows up again and again. Thank you for your help.
