I'm encountering some difficulties with my current account, which is locked out. I would like to request assistance from the support team to help me delete my account and remove my personal information from the platform. However, I'm having trouble finding the contact information for the support team. I couldn't locate their email address or phone number, and I'm hesitant to post my personal email address and information on a public forum.

I'm feeling quite frustrated, as I've never encountered such challenges with an app before. It appears that I'm unable to reach the Firefox support team at the moment. Can someone please provide guidance on how I can securely and privately request their assistance in deleting my account and personal information?

I had to create a new account just to post this question because my original account got locked out. This happened because I recently acquired a new phone and didn't transfer the two-step authentication information to my new device.

I am using Firefox with the uBlock Origin and Cookie AutoDelete extensions enabled. When I try and load Gmail or any other Google site, I get a blank page and nothing loads at all. This only occurs when my VPN is on (I use Private Internet Access). However, even with the VPN on, Chrome will still load those sites. Disabling the VPN means that the sites load normally.

My guess is it might be some sort of privacy setting in Firefox, but I don't understand what it could be. The only thing that breaks/fixes the sites is connecting and disconnecting the VPN, irrespective of which country I try and connect from.

I'm on the latest version of Firefox, 106.1, and I'm missing the Firefox View button on my MacBook Pro 13". It is showing on my Mac Mini M1, and both are logged in and syncing properly using my Firefox account.

When I type in about:firefoxview on my MacBook Pro in the URL bar, I see the page but noticed it says "New colorways are on the way" on the right. On my Mac Mini, I see the "Independent Voices" text and an option to "Try colorways".

Bug? Some weird setting on my MacBook? Both are running macOS Monterey, 12.6.

Hi there. I'm in the process of switching from Chrome and I want to import my passwords.

I first tried the 'import from Chrome' option - it says it's successful, but nothing has actually been added. Same result after several attempts.

I then tried the csv route. I found out I had to change the config settings, so I did just that, but the 'import CSV' option still isn't showing even after a reset.

So now I'm at a dead end. Any bright ideas please? TIA!

After the last upgrade, Firefox no longer saves my password information even thought I always click "Save".

In my Privacy & Security - "Logins and Passwords" settings, I have it checked to autofill. I am not using Private Browsing and the only extension I have is DuckDuckGo. I tried to remove that extension and try again, but it still would not save.

What else to check?

I have some GeoGebra files with extension .ggb on a website. FireFox will download those files, while other browsers (Safari, Google Chrome) do. How can I make Firefox download these files?

I use a theme which some years ago (after a change in the way Firefox handles dark-mode preferences) changed all UI and websites to use dark-mode. I was able to keep using the theme, and mostly override this behavior by setting:

`layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override = 1`

However, this didn't take for some components, such as the sidebar and bookmark editor window, which still continue to use dark-mode.

Is there any way to completely disable dark-mode everywhere, and still use my preferred theme?

First of all, thank you for your efforts to help this community. I've been using Firefox for about a decade and this is my first question, I believe.

I recently got a new Macbook. I've installed Firefox to it (my primary browser) and want to sync Firefox to it. I have Firefox on my iMac and my iPhone. However, my password is from 2014 and I can't seem to remember it no matter how many times I try. If I choose a new password, it gives me a warning that I will lose my account information, including my bookmarks, add-ons, history, etc. I really don't want to lose that info! I have spent a long time personalizing my Firefox.

Pleeeease tell me there's some other way to sync Firefox to my new laptop (when I can't remember my super old password).

Well, I wanted to provide PRIVATE feedback to the developers, but it appears that they are intent on avoiding that at all costs, continually steering me into posting on the public forum instead by not providing any other alternative. So be it. Remember, this was not my choice.

I was shocked to see the following results from Firefox's own presearch for the simple term "mom" (I was typing a longer word, but the presearch came out during my typing). I think your curation algorithms need some hard tweaking.

When I started getting msgs saying my browser was no longer supported, I checked my version. Firefox says i have v115esr and that it is "up to date" - i.e. no update available at this time. I assumed I was getting the brush off from those web sites.

Why did Firefox not bring me up to v124? I get a "download update" probably once a month. It's been giving me a new variation of 115esr all along.

I've now downloaded 124 from your site. What do I need to do so that I stay current in the future? Thanks John

I always use private browsing so I thought that my history was totally not being saved, but discovered recently that when I started to type within the search field, that many of my past searches were listed in the search field with the type highlighted in purple. I had to manually go in and delete all of these past searches. I don't want any search history to be saved. Is there a setting in preferences that I'm somehow missing? Why is Firefox saving these past searches if I have it set to Always Use Private Browsing?

My Mac (desktop) crashed and after that, my bookmarks disappeared. I redownloaded Firefox and logged in, but I could not find my bookmarks. So I tried to rebuild my bookmark toolbar but realized all the websites were already bookmarked (each bookmark star was blue).

Just to experiment, I opened Firefox from the external location (that is used for external hard drives, etc.) WITHOUT DOWNLOADING to the Applications on my Mac. Then I could fully see my bookmarks.

This is good but I have to open Firefox on the external location every time I restart my Mac or change the user.

How can I access my bookmarks in the downloaded Firefox as normal?

I recently had a catastrophic issue with my computer and had to do a factory reset. I was removing my dead name from my folder structure and profile on my machine, and this caused it to bork...I know even my silicon hardware is transphobic *sigh*. I know there are articles talking about this issue, and I know for security and privacy your policy is that all bookmarks are lost with a password reset.

However, these bookmarks are very very invaluable, and contain so much information regarding my transition, my career, etc. I just really would love to try and find a way to recover these if at all possible. I know you and your team make recovery possible in an slew of ways, and I really don't know if I set any of those up. I thought I might of, but I am still picking up the pieces from this reset. I know I should have been more proactive about recovery and really thought I was, and I am really kicking myself for not being more explicit/diligent.

I am happy to go through any verification process. I know you have policies for a reason, but I can't just give up on so much important information. There is a years worth of memories during a time, where memories and identity are shifting. I am literally begging to not lose this data.

Hello, I am a user on Mac! I am having an issue with moving tabs fluidly. Yes, moving tabs inside the window is easy but when I move them outside the window, it makes me a little uncomfortable. In the images and video I have sent, you can see that an unnecessary thumbnail of the tab pops up even when I move the tabs inside the window. This makes it harder to know if I am even moving the tab in the first place. Then it takes like 2-5 seconds for the new window of the individual tab I moved to appear. If whatever I said is quite confusing which I apologize for, I would very much recommend taking a look at Google Chrome, the browser I don't prefer, however, try moving the tabs around and outside one window and creating more windows with individual tabs. It feels more fluid or swift and easy to handle. Compare that to Firefox and a big difference is to be seen. I am concerned about this issue really because I am replacing my previous browsers, not only Google Chrome but browsers like Edge too which are capable of not having that issue, with Firefox instead and hopefully Firefox can have this capability. I also multitask a lot so I usually encounter this problem on Firefox. I hope this is fixed and am sure it will help a lot of users! Thank you! Hello, i've updated the Firefox browser to version 120 and since then polish texts in browser are broken. How can i fix it or restore to previous working browser version?

Just switched to firefox as my default and found that I can't sign in to netflix. It always gives me the "incorrect password" message. I've tried resetting the password, clearing cookies, restarting, turning the DNS proection off, restarting my computer, etc to no avail. Anyone else have this issue or know a potential solution?

After updating Firefox to 116.0.1 my tabs keep randomly crashing. I get some crash reports *occasionally* - meaning not all crashes produce a crash report - but I'm not sure what to do with them, they seem inconclusive. Dear Mozilla team, how can I delete the search bar on the bottom of the page? I want to put information on top of the site, but my query lands in the bottom and I have to put all back again in order to do the search. The search bar appears on the bottom left side of any website. It is very annoying and I don't need it. Even if I want to search for something, it does not give any further information. thanks for your help!
