Suddenly I cannot search from the search bar. It defaults to the address bar. why "fix" something that was not broken. Being forced to use the address bar is frustrating. If you go directly to the address bar, it tells you it cannot find that site.

When the Global Privacy Control request is checked (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/global-privacy-control?as=u&utm_source=inproduct) a persistent bubble appears at the bottom of the page indicating the request has been accepted. The bubble is annoying. Is there a way to continue to use this feature without the bubble appearing?

I have the latest version of Firefox. I still keep getting the prompts to download the latest version. When I go to system info, it shows I have the latest version it is asking me to download. When I do a manual search for the latest version, it always says it failed to search for the latest download.

I have Norton 360. I just reinstalled a brother printer and now I get the "Your browser is being managed by your organization". While I sync with my laptop, as others have said, I'm not an organization. There is an Enterprise policy .

I can't store or edit any bookmarks. How do I correct this? I need answers in very simple terms as I am very much a layman with computers. Thank You!

I accidentally typed my protonmail password into the field of my username/mail address. I don't remember what more I did (propably answered yes to save) but now there is as autofilled my password for username always I open my Protonmail account. I am using Firefox as browser (should be the newest version) while Emailing.

I tried to delete autofill of Firefox according to the next advise: "go to Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to "Forms and Autofill," and uncheck "Autofill addresses" to stop saving them"

Then I was astonished. There is no "Forms and Autofill" setting on my Firefox at all!

Protonmail settings didn't help either nor Windows 11 - neither FAQ.

Linux User So. I recently followed a Mozilla guide, previously posted, and something that I did, or changed, I now have a very annoying "profile" name in the title bar. Further to that, I now have an additional menu option called "Profiles", with --"profile --Add Profile

I have never had or seen these items, except when I've moved my profile from an old computer to a new computer, using the console of "firefox -P" command.

It is becoming very annoying as I only have one profile, and I don't want an more.

Question. How to I block the display of 'profile information' ? Thanks

Mozilla made an update of my Firefox installation on my Win11 laptop. all my password disappeared as well as my history and bookmarks.

I have now a virgin installation and is starting from scratch.

Now I get this error message: "This profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile." I deleted met shortcut and I opened Firefox by using Windows search. Now I see 4 profiles! I think I do not need to create a new profile. Maybe delete 3 of them ? What to do ? And, how?

Why is firefox blocking the paypal popup??? I've tried all the solutions to get it to work, but it still does not work.

Went into Settings/Privacy & Security/Permissions, Block pop-ups and third-party redirects is selected, but I've added http://paypal.com and https://paypal.com to the exceptions

The problem that is occurring with Firefox is one website American Airlines, I can not log in to my account with Firefox, however Chrome has no problem logging in. Running Windows 11 up to date Firefox 147.03 64 bit. below is the error message I get Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.aa.com/homePage.do" on this server.

I like Firefox with one exception. The right-click print feature is missing in the drop-down menu. I can print from the Application Menu but the 'print' feature is missing using the mouse right-click menu. The right-click feature does work using other browsers. A picture of my right-click menu using Firefox is attached. THANKS

Recently I’ve had a few Firefox problems on my W11 desktop. Sometimes when I try to load a website, nothing appears until several seconds (30 or more) have passed. During that time, the bottom of the screen shows the message Transferring data. Then, after that long wait, very often only a top piece (1/3 to ½) of the page appears. If I wait long enough (a minute or two), the rest of the page appears. Another problem is illustrated in the two images. When I go to AARP, I get the first image. T then press the Reload button and the second image appears. This problem is fairly recent. Previously, the first image always loaded with not problem. Any ideas of what’s happening and, even more importantly, how it can be fixed? Thanks.

j'ai l'habitude de faire mes recherches sur la barre de recherche centrale et non sur l'url. Bien que le curseur soit positionné dessus, je ne peux pas y écrire, je suis redirigée sur l'url. J'ai bien mis à false la ligne qui convient dans about:config, mais ce n'est toujours pas possible. Que faut il faire ?

When i logged into a privacy session on a website the account did not automatically log out when i closed the session. I checked again by purposefully ensuring i closed all privacy windows but when i went back to the sight i was still logged in. I had to specifically log out the account.

Has something changed with the setting? This was one of the features that i liked. I don't want to find a new browser because what i expect is no longer happening.
