I thought installing Foxfire would let me set it as my default search engine! However, I can't set it as my default, and I can't use DuckDuckGo because it doesn't have password manager extensions. Why bother installing Foxfire if you can't use it for default search engine?

I just finished making a pimary password and my computer got unplugged before I could sign out I had only fsaaved one passowrod in firefox for a site so far, and I noticed after rvbooting that it got erased. So it wont accept my primary password. I haven't done squat so far so I'm tempted to start over. but WTF? That's a really crappy bug to have. I guess I was just seeing if someone knew something I don't. But I have super low expectations about all this. What garbage. Imagine if I have hella to lose and this happened!

I'm really enjoying tab groups, but there's a feature that seems broken. After restarting my browser, I'd like to reuse the groups I've previously created. It appears you've added a menu option for that: "Add Tab to Group" -> "Closed Group" Unfortunately, selecting that just closes the selected tab, rendering those closed groups permanently closed. I can go ahead and add my tab to a new group with the same name, but that creates a duplicate item under the "Closed Group" menu. After using the feature for a bit, I know how quite a long list of duplicate items under a totally useless "Close Group" submenu.

I only; selected the topic I did becaue none of trhe topics reallly come close. I want to know why you need a mobile ddecidce tro use syn. Why can'tyou sync two computers together or three? Why is italways presued people have a mobile defcice to the point where tech services become inaccessible o them I know that I can hood wink the computer into thinking that it is an iphone. But if sync only works computer to mobile device that would be pointless. Did it ever occur to the developers after rooms of focus groups and testers that someone might what to sync two computers? Is that crazy? What is wrong with everyone these days. I guess I'm asking if there's anyway to do it, but I"m pretty sure I already kw the answer and it will start with first take your mobile device... c'mon! If it is possible to sync w/o an iphone or an android someone please fill me in. Otherwise just know that your sync is misleading in terms of functionality. It shouldn't be a brick wall the way it is. Like having a computer isnt good enough, the whole world is focused on these stupid things. Children are slaving away in places most of us would be terrified to set foot in just to make this garbage. If all you had to do to end child slave labor is put down your i-phone(etc.).... So as a society we believe that child slave labor is ok. I'm getting off topic but that last bit just served to flesh out my frustration for people laughing at my flip-phone. I wasn't really trying to politic I just wanted to know about the technical side of my question. thanks. There's a good chance that off-worlders are in part responsible for that tech. What better way to fexude control over humanity besides influencing the culture? Actually, it's not that far fetched. You can take that ridicule an cram it back down your throats with the decades of CIA directives that crafted the culture making you think that way. Just watch a congressional hearing on the topic. If aliens can make ufos, how hard would it be to subtly influence us through mass-media.? ":They've been here a long time." If I seem overly verbose, that's just the side effect of a culture that doesn't like indulging thoughts that cant be represented by a tiny handful of syllables .. Ok ok. I got other stuff to do.  :I basically asked the question in the descriptive box, so I thought they wanted more writing.

When I restarted firefox on my mac, it opened up a new window with no profile/bookmarks as if I was starting firefox for the first time. It doesn't have my old profiles. I suspect there's a "hidden" version of firefox someplace that does have my profiles, but I'm not opening the right version -- which is why it is opening as if I'm starting anew. My dock often shows two firefox icons, but there are not two firefox applications in my applications folder. The only one available on the dock right now is the one that opens a blank profile. And if I open firefox from the applications folder, it also opens a blank profile.

when try to sign in to Mozilla VPN it takes me to spin wheel or sales and I'm wondering if my subscription lapsed or card needs updated? how do i find out. [redacted email from public]

Firefox fails on Hulu with "location could not be determined" even in a clean profile with no extensions, same IP/WebRTC result as Chrome, no enterprise policies, fingerprinting protection off, tracking protection off, NordVPN on NordLynx with no split tunneling.

I'm stuck in a loop with trying to enable VPN. Initial click on the vpn icon in the top right gives me a popup with a "Get Started" button. I clicked that and went through the authentication process (logged into my mozilla account). I then got the popup with the "Next: Turn on VPN" message. However I click on the top right icon again (as indicated in the popup) but I'm back to the icon with the "Get Started" button - then round again...

OK - this keep happening on my firefox browser on my macbook laptop. I have a default firefox browser open with my 13 default tabs. Now when I have some app, like today specifically, the app for my voice caddy golf app. I open the app, do the update, and if I select any link that opens the voice caddy website, it opens it in a new firefox browser and tab, NOT a tab in my existing firefox with my 13 default tabs. So my default firefox gets trashed. In my firefox settings, I told firefox to open any new tabs in tabs, NOT pages. I also have open the last tabs open where I left off when I close firefox. What a pain. Tried several things to no avail. Why doesn't firefox have a setting (or the current setting do as I told it - open new websites in a new TAB, NOT a new browser.

Firefox wanted to up date and I clicked okay. All my information still to be as it was but it didn't download when the computer came back up. How do I get everything back?

Despite using the most recent updated version of Firefox (154.0.1--64 bit), I am unable to change the font size and font style in my emails. I currently use macOS, Catalina, version 10.15.8. I've selected Palatino, 24 pt. in the Advanced settings menu, but no changes take place. Please advise.
