Hello. i noticed that my shortcuts are missing. i went to settings to check if it's enabled (check mark) and it is in fact enabled. tried to reset my computer and the shortcuts are still not there. on the main firefox page there is actually no shortcut icons on there...at all. all of the options in settings work with the exception (of course) the shortcuts. i would like to know why this is happening...thx

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Firefox (and add Sites shortcuts) 2. Do not navigate to any website 3. Observe network activity using Process Monitor or clash verge

Expected Behavior: - Opening about:home should not establish TCP connections to remote sites unless the user interacts with them.

Actual Behavior: - TCP connections are observed immediately to sites listed in Top Sites shortcuts, even without user interaction.

Notes: - Disabling DNS prefetch, speculative preconnect, and predictor settings does not prevent these connections. - Extensions have been ruled out, I can distinguish darkreader.org(extention) mozilla.org(update) and reddit.com(your sponsor url) from *.edu.*(my shortcuts), DON'T mention that. - Connections occur before any page navigation or clicks. - I suspect that Firefox may attempt to load site icons (favicon / tile thumbnails), but this is unconfirmed.

Good morning One and All Why is the 'customise' facility, bottom right of tab, not available if the tab is blank? I have downloaded a personal photograph as my background but it is ruined by the Google search bar and the Firefox logo above it. Why can't these 2 items be moved either to the side, below or above?

Issue Summary: My website (mass-doc.com) displays blank thumbnails in Firefox's New Tab "Recent Activity" section, while other websites (Claude.ai, Ahrefs, FamilySearch, Fox News, Xfinity) display their OG images correctly in the same section. Environment: Extensions Installed: uBlock Origin, FireShot (both tested disabled with no change)

Evidence That OG Images Are Correctly Configured:

I want to drop ALL SPORTS CONTENT ON MY NEW PAGES & HOME PAGE. Every day I 'dismiss' every one. I 'thumbs down' every one. I've reported as SPAM, OUTDATED, tried to find modifications in 'settings'. I've clicked on the pencil at the bottom right corner...ZERO help. All I could find is the choice to "allow" or "not allow" recommended by & curated by staff. HELP ME MAKE IT STOP, PLEEZE.

I would like to browse the archive of articles that appear with a fresh set every day on the Firefox home screen. Is the archive available? If not, can Firefox make it available for all the users? I am sure that I am not the only one interested in browsing the archive of articles and reading those that interest them.

EVERY SINGLE TIME FIREFOX UPDATES THEY OPEN A NEW TAB AND ADVERTISE FEATURES AND GARBAGE I DO NOT CARE ABOUT.

DESPITE EVERY SETTING IMAGINABLE, IT STILL DOES IT. EVERY TIME.

WHY? WHY DO YOU NOT RESPECT YOUR USER'S REQUESTS AND CONTINUE TO DO THIS?

WE ALL REMEMBER THE TIME YOU SHOVED ADVERTISEMENTS INTO IT.

I"D RATHER PAY FOR FIREFOX THAN HAVE THIS RIDICULOUS GARBAGE HAPPEN EVERY TIME YOU UPDATE THE APPLICATION.

MAKE A SETTING FOR THIS OR SOMETHING THAT YOU WON'T JUST IGNORE OR OVERRIDE THE NEXT TIME YOU WANT TO SPAM YOUR ENTIRE USER BASE
