Firefox.exe task is suspended. I cannot end it with task manager, and I cannot kill it with taskkill. The message i get is as follows:

C:\Windows\System32>taskkill /f /pid 4196 ERROR: The process with PID 4196 could not be terminated. Reason: Access is denied.

Due to this, i cannot completely clean the cache. Please help

Whenever I use (control + shift + V) to paste to the format in my google sheet it inputs the value into the cell below my selected cell. Please see my attachment.

It may look like I selected both cells but I made several attempts & got the same result.

I have noticed over the past year that some shopping sites no longer allow me to complete my purchase (landsend.com, garnethill.com) or login (theguardian.com/us) to name a few. In the past I have called their customer service and completed my purchase by phone or I have had to use the Edge browser. This is an annoying work around and defeats using Firefox as my default browser. I just disabled the HTTPS scanning in my (AVG) antivirus software and was hoping that may resolve the issue but I still cannot log into my accounts on the 2 I just tried. Am I going to have to change my browser use?

I have a need t view courthouse records in AZ. The Cort Website tells be to go to (In Win 10) Settings then Compatibility View settings. hat must be old information as pertaining to win 10, because my win 10 has nothing even hinting a similarity with that. So, since it's about web viewing the next place I looked on Firefox and again nothing like that. Any suggestions?

Every two or three hours, firefox locks my computer by creating thousands of tracks and temporary file megabytes. I have to power button the computer off and restart.

I have tried ridding of cache etc, but nothing works. I am running win 7 64x ultimate, and the latest firefox browser, but this issue has been going on with previous versions and over years. Yesterday the problem corrupted some files that sfc /scannow can't even fix.

Please help.

From last 2 days the website's specific product page https://hassan-brothers.ae/product/thermal-rolls-80-x-80mm-receipt-paper-48gsm/ continuously showing "refused to connect". as a developer I had to manage and add products for my client but unfortunately this problem occurs. I contacted to the hosting provider they said "I think some kind of sql query issue" after working on SQL it's working on other's end but still I unable to access.

Kindly resolve my issue thank you. I urgently need this.

I use a MacBook Pro - Sequoia 15.0.1. Whenever I open Facebook on Firefox, the typing is so slow that I have often finished typing and the letters are printing on the page very slowly. It does not happen in Safari, or other browsers, just Firefox. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks. Kathie

I'm not getting any audio come out from firefox. I've tried other applications and I'm getting sound across the board. All media is playing just fine everywhere else except my firefox browser. I made sure to refresh firefox, performed a full computer restart but I'm still not getting any sounds.

Since updating Firefox I can no longer connect to known good sites without getting "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue".

This includes U.S. government sites! For instance, try connecting to https://covidtests.gov/ .

Why completely block access to the site? Why can't I make exceptions or tell Firefox to accept the risk and continue?

I NEVER seen this before and wonder why this is occurring. When I put an address into the address line, MANY TIMES NOW I see a RIBBON before the address.

WHY is that ribbon there?

And HOW DO I GET RID OF IT?????????????????

I'm wondering if someone can help me with an issue I'm having with the Firefox autofill function. Which has just stopped working.

Absolutely a first world problem BUT its super irritating as now I have to manually input card details when I purchase anything online. And as I purchase materialS all the time for work it's v laborious...

I'm on a Macbook Air 2020 M1 and just updated it to OS 14.6.1.

Firefox def seems to remember my various card details as they pop up on the form fields; but then disappear as soon as I try and select the one I want to use?

Ive poked around in Settings but toggling on & off / resetting etc doesn't seem to make any difference.

Any advice gratefully welcomed ;)

For starters, I'm using Firefox 133.0 (64-bit), Windows 10, Logitech Trackman Marble Mouse (and I've used this mouse forever and a day)

In ONLY Google Messages for web, the vertical scrollbar is skinny and doesn't work well. I have to click above it and then it's hit or miss if it will scroll.

I have NO issues with any other website so far. In Chrome and Brave browsers I have no issues with Google Messages. It seems this is uniquely a Firefox with Google Messages issue.

I'm curious if there is a way to fix this. One time for grins, I right clicked the scroll bar and selected Inspect. I was able to figure out how to widen the scrollbar and that helped; however, it was only for that session. I did not see a way to "save" those changes.

PS: This mouse does NOT have a scroll wheel. Using a mouse WITH a scroll wheel works. But then again, with my Logitech marble mouse I depend on the scroll bars and have no issues with any other website. Thanks.

When is Firefox (across devices) going to bring "Tab Groups" in-built in 2025 as it is difficult to ditch Chrome esp., if it is related to work or research and similar tabs are opened up?

I have to rely on chrome and edge for same and both have not only brought it but improved it considerably. Also, chrome has not brought for mobile devices so grouping of tabs is more easy and simple but when I look at Firefox and Firefox based browsers, I see nothing of that thing present. The addon esp., Simple Tab Groups (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/addon/simple-tab-groups/) is unreliable (see reviews).

If Firefox want us to use their browser and as default, they should see why we are using Chrome and Edge (latter, having vertical tabs in-built, also).

I hope 2025 is a year Firefox learns of how to retain users across devices. Currently Firefox is more from 2005.

I am increasingly unable to complete transactions using Firefox. I've been a Firefox users for years and I've never encountered as many problem as I am now. Websites give me error messages saying they are unable to confirm my log-in credentials, or something similar. I've contacted a number of vendors who say that they are noticing an increase in the number of customers saying the same thing. My only recourse has been to place the order on the phone OR use another browser. What's up? Thanks.
