I have been using Firefox as my preferred browser for years. Recently I notice that when using Outlook mail in web the paste option is gone when replying to an email. Everything works in Chrome and Edge correctly but not Firefox. I instead get a text toolbar and an option to insert an emoji. Note this is ONLY if I am replying to an email. In new emails I am able to use the file toolbar and paste from there. Any help would be appreciated as I would like to keep using Firefox. I have tried all the online remedies including clearing the cache to no avail.

I enabled "Open Recent Taps At Startup" but it doesn't work all the time sometimes i close the browser and then open again at some time later or maybe a little bit after i closed it and the taps are gone, i actually don't know what is wrong with it, does someone know a fix to this issue ?

Note: This actually does not happen a lot but when it does it becomes very frustrating especially when i closed the browser for a long time and i open it again i find that all of the taps are gone and it becomes very hard to remember what i had opened since the last time

when I open firefox it ALWAUS goes back to the last page I visited. I checked off that feature in settings, tried restaring in safe mode, refreshing firefox, updating, reinstalling, nothing works. I DO NOT WANT LAST PAGE RELOADING AT STARTUP. How do I make firefox works properly?

I'm running Windows 11 on a new machine. Doing a process check shows Firefox is currently at 853MB ! I have two windows open. What is going on? What happened to "Run lite without overbyte"? (Yes I'm was a Dr. Dobb's subscriber, )

I have bookmarks saved in 11 folders. Occasionally when I expand a folder to work with a bookmark and then close it, the whole folder will be saved at the bottom of a different open folder, not in its original location. I was struggling with trying to locate wandering folders untiI I learned to search a bookmark that I knew to be in the missing folder. Still, I would like to know if there is a setting that prevents folders from slipping out of sight. I have observed this happening for years.

When I try to open websites from a google search, I get this error:

• This doesn't happen with chrome.

• If I enter a website directly in to the search bar, I am able to open the website; I just can't open it when going through google.

• If I go through duckduckgo, I can open the website directly.

• This doesn't happen for all websites, but the ones it happens to is weird. Today it was the Red Cross blood donation website.

• I am over 18 and am noted as such in my google account and in my firefox account; I just double checked.

• I am working on a PC using Windows 11 Pro. Firefox is up to date. I only have 2 extensions, neither of which block sites.

• I tried going through google and accessing admin rights, can't do that so apparently I don't have admin rights through google. But again, I can open websites through google using chrome, just not firefox.

Hello, so i want to apply SF mono font to my codeblocks but they are instead applying lucida console font, how will i fix this? My monospace font is currently set to "SFMono Nerd Font"

I know I'm late to the party...just had a Windows 11 reset...ugh. No matter. What does tweak me is that shortcut that is a nasty box. And tiny. I've searched, but can't find a good solution...all I want...is the previous, very hip, Firefox icon. IS THERE A UPDATE OR HACK FOR THIS? Really, if the nice friends at Mozilla are watching, gang, please, next update...give us back the previous shortcut logo. At least a choice? Thanks!

i installed the latest version from the website, and it only opens for a split second before it crashes. no error message, it just closes before its even fully open. same thing in troubleshoot mode: the troubleshoot mode popup only appears for a second, i dont even have time to read it before it closes. no error message. i tried a clean reinstall and nothing changed. i opened it in safe mode and it worked with no problems. i read that there are sometimes issues with avast, which i used to have, so i deleted the residual files i found in AppData and Program Files. still nothing. now the only antivirus/firewall software i have is windows defender (and i know that because windows defender keeps telling me haha), and i tried adjusting the windows firewall- still nothing. i would love to include a crash report ID, but there are no crash reports in the folder (photo attached), even though ive tried to open the app half a dozen times since reinstalling.

not sure if its relevant, but just in case- when i couldnt open the version from the website, i tried installing it from the microsoft store, and it actually worked fine at first. but shortly after i finished setting it up (it was probably open for less than an hour), it crashed and then it was the same- crashing immediately upon startup. i have since uninstalled it, in case they were interacting in a weird way, so now i only have the version from the website. i also have the mobile app on my phone and it works like a charm.

i consider myself pretty good at troubleshooting, but im completely stumped here. sorry for the long post, any guidance would be greatly appreciated

I recently removed Firefox from my PC with the intention to reinstall it right away via the windows store, for the purpose of getting Firefox updates automatically.

However, I have been trying in the past few days to install the app and am running into the same error as the installation begins.

I deleted any reminiscence of Mozilla folders from my C drive and ran deep cleaning of cache files on my PC and nothing helps. Please help me resolve this issue, I would like to keep using Firefox...

Is there any way or any extention which can make a bookmark behave like a pinned tab? so that whenever I am browsing that bookmark is tracked and automatecally updated as I browse?

I set a primary password but I found I can just press cancel button and then go to my gmail and open it without any prompt to enter password first.

If my PC is stolen then any one can press cancel and open my email and other loged in sites

I have bought a new computer and want to sync all my passwords and stuff. it is asking for the authentication code to proceed but i don't have it, how can i disable authentication code when it is asking for it to disable. don't know what or how to proceed? please help. -Mike M.

I installed firefox and am trying to open the Vegas World sign in app and it's doing nothing in the tab, it will not come up. I'm so confused and technically challenged

Since the days of Go Corp.'s PenPoint and Windows for Pen Computing, I have been accustomed to select text by just dragging the stylus --- that no longer works --- for some reason the stylus has now been dumbed down to be an 11th touch input which scrolls.

Why?

How can I get back the far more expressive behavour of drag-select text with a stylus and using touch when I wish to scroll?

As an FYI, I handed a stylus and my Samsung Galaxy Book 12 (running Windows Build 1703 which predates this change) to a technician at the local Best Buy and they had no problem selecting text --- when I challenged them to select text on a Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 running Windows 11 using the stylus they were unable to to.

Could we please have an option to restore the traditional behaviour?

Settings | Bluetooth & Devices | Pen & Windows Ink | Additional Pen Settings | Let me use my pen as a mouse when it's available

doesn't seem to work when it is enabled.

I have having alot of trouble. I am unable to get Netflix to work in Normal mode of firefox. It will work in trouble shoot but not in reg mode. The page will not load all the way and than it locks up . I have done every suggestion that i have found and yet it still will not load and work. I have been trying to fix this problem for a week now. I have uninstalled and re installed 3 times now. and yet it still will not work. I have now gone to Edge to watch Netflix.

Recently converted to Firefox.

I routinely receive images from one sender that has a banner that renders two to three times the screen width no matter the screen size.

This issue doesn't occur on the Gmail Mobile app only while viewing Gmail on Firefox (The issue is not resident in Chrome).

way to limit the size of embedded / inline images when logged into gmail on Firefox?
