Following a restart procedure on Windows 10 today, all my saved Firefox Passwords have now gone! (Firefox 144.0.2 (64-bit))

Can I recover them?

I recently bough a new computer and transferred all my data, passwords and bookmarks to it. Each time I opened my mozilla browser I was encouraged to create a profile , but each time I just continued without creating a profile. Finally today I was not given an option to proceed without creating a profile so I did. But now all my passwords and bookmarks have disappeared. When I try to find them I am advised to load my previous profile but this is not an option the only profile I have is the one I just created with the missing data. Can you please tell me where the appropiate files are stored and how can I recover them. Thanks

Firefox's new version was installed but after downloading and opening, when it opened, NONE of my tabs opened. I tried 6 times to no avail. I need my tabs. How do I fix this?

Hello there, today was released a new version of firefox. downloading it not only crashed my computer, it also removed all my history and bookmarks. is there any way to revert this?

do know computers very well, have used firefox for all my web browsing, firefox kept crashing according to screen so it opened saved apparent older version and I lost all my bookmarks and passwords, please help

I restarted my computer, but my tabs did not reappear. I restarted, but I have lost all my bookmarks, and I cannot add bookmarks. All Mozilla recommendations have failed.

I just updated to the latest Firefox. All my history, bookmarks, extensions are now gone. I do not seem to be able to get them back. My old version of Firefox is not available. When I ask to update from a prior browser, the drop down selection does not give me my prior version of Firefox. Help!

Can Firefox do anything to recover all of the downloads I'd saved until I accidentally had CCleaner erase everything? I don't know what else was deleted, but getting them back would be a big help.

Hello, I need urgent help. My Firefox browser started acting glitchy, so I restarted my computer. When it came back on, Firefox had lost all my bookmarks and passwords. I've spent 10 hours trying to fix it myself. I've found my old data files on the computer, but I can't get Firefox to use them. Safari works perfectly fine. I need you to remotely access my iMac and recover my Firefox profile with all my passwords and bookmarks.

Hello, I have just installed Firefox version 144.0.2 on a new computer. I have access to all of the Firefox files and data on the original computer, but I am not able to run Firefox on that computer. Therefore, I am not able to create an export file from the original installation. Is it possible for me to import all of the original Firefox data into the new installation? I'm writing because I’ve encountered an issue with the tab groups feature in Firefox.

Some time ago, after a browser update, I noticed a new feature that allowed me to group tabs thematically — I could name each group (e.g., "Study", "Work"), choose a color for it, and save and close groups to reopen them later. I found it very useful and used it a lot.

Last night, I decided to declutter my browser and closed several tab groups using the built-in menu. A bit later, I shut down my computer, but perhaps too quickly. This morning, when I turned my computer back on, Firefox was very slow to start. After a restart, everything seemed to work fine again, and the open tabs were restored.

However, all my previously saved (but temporarily closed) tab groups disappeared. In the tab group menu, I can now only see the ones currently open. I’ve searched through all the settings and history but cannot find any way to restore the missing groups.

Is there any way to recover the tab groups that I had previously saved and closed?
