The password feed doesn't enter my ID on a two page login screen. I know it can but I need to edit the feed. How do I edit the feed?

I'm trying to move away from Opera. Especially after the antivirus told me it was accessing my webcam on my laptop. I WANT to use Mozilla. However, I've become addicted to the easy bars of "top sites" on the Opera main page, always there, the only bug is every 2 months or so, they add Booking.com and I have to delete it.
I'm having three issues in getting Mozilla to work for me:
1. The icons won't display after I put in the links, so half of them read as a blankish looking "A".
2. Mozilla keeps adding garbage I don't want, daily, in spades.
3. My sites are disappearing. WTF is the point of spending 1-2 hours tailoring my home page only to have it disappear?
I'd like to stop using Opera, but I want the convenience of what I use being front-paged and easy to see at a glance after I switch browsers. Granted, I don't need the myopically large icons of Opera, but something identifiable without scrutiny would be ideal. Is there a way to do this, or are we not there yet with Mozilla?

I use multiple profiles for work and personal browsing, and it's very important that I know which window will open a link when I click it.
I do this today on Chrome by focusing on the browser I want to receive the link before clicking it. Otherwise you have to constantly copy/paste a link from one window into another, which is a huge time waste.
This is today, the only thing that is stopping me from moving from Chrome to Firefox. Perhaps I missed something when I tried doing this in the past. Is there a setting or something else that can get Firefox to have a similar behavior?

However, I do find the new ctrl+tab behavior useful, however not as a replacement of the old behavior, but as an additional feature.
Is there any way I can have ctrl+tab/ctrl+shift+tab behave in the old way, while binding a custom keybinding to the new recently used order tab behavior? (say, e.g. binding it to win+tab)

Refreshed Firefox on my computer after getting a message that it was performing slowly. Now I am unable to open private browsing.
If I type in about:privatebrowsing then I get the private browsing screen however if I type anything in to that screen to search for it reverts to normal browsing.
I’m a silver surfer so not the most technically minded but does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get private browsing back. Have used Firefox for quite a long time with no issues before this so don’t really want to change to a different browser.

Firefox will not download images to save as JPEG- Only save All Files
When attempting to save pictures from the internet the only option get is save as all files. I am unable to change my default to JPEG in settings.

However, I do sometimes run across sites at one I would like to use at the other, and currently the only way I can find to do that is email the link to myself. It would be much easier if I could just have one shared folder I can sync between the two. Is there an extension that does this? I've seen a few bookmark extensions, but I can't find one that just syncs one folder.

The most efficient / effective way for me to function as a Nursing Student with tons of bookmarks to do research n "stuff" is for the bookmarks sidebar to show on the left. I can navigate to the URL I want, click it to open in a new tab, and I'm "set" except that the sidebar shows in the new tab and takes up valuable real estate.
If I close the sidebar it closes on all open tabs. Very dysfunctional.

Recently, like tonight recently whenever I do control+e it's started putting ? before it. Whenever this happens any domain I enter is searched. It may be a minor thing but it seriously annoys me that this started happening. It's one of the main things I hate about MS Edge! Does Firefox provide a built in way to block keyboard and mouse tracking being used in ways that allows a user profile to be built. For example, blocking Google instant, where data goes back to Google as each character is entered into the field. Or user profiling based on typing cadence. There needs to be an ability to block the browser from sending data without an explicit user action. I.e. clicking the search button. But disallow letter by letter tracking and mouse location tracking.
