Since signing on to a Hillsdale College information page, multiple pop ups in the upper right corner from explore.information.com/these -50-popular .... appear. They are identical but keep on appearing after unsubscribing. whenever the screen is opened again, they reappear. Please help.

...unable to delete history (attached 1.png) and files still showing after clearing downloads (attached 2.png); unable to manage bookmarks (save via star in address bar or drag & drop to bookmark folder), delete or move bookmarks, create folders) outside of troubleshooting mode; unable to export bookmarks json file in any mode; NO CHANGE AFTER Firefox RESET... and routinely run disk utility & reset PRAM on this Intel computer...
Please advise, other than updating to latest compatible version (macOS Monterey 12.7.2) or replacing computer.
