I have noticed Firefox is ignoring the max_pages and transient max_pages settings, both set to 999999 and still deleting browsing history after 2-3 months here.

What can be done? Is there a way to get the developers to fix this so it stops deleting, ideally by adding a boolean setting?

Until recently (like last week-ish) My Bookmarks Sidebar ONLY showed bookmarks. NOW, within the past few days the "bookmarks tools column" has been added to the screen-view. I have removed the 'tools' but the 'blank column' remains and takes up noticeable space on my laptop screen. How can I remove that 'column' ? Was this caused by a recent firefox update OR a win-365 'auto-update' ? Attached pic of screen - Here at the LEFT side is the 'blank column' with the 'settings Gear' at the bottom of the column. That is the column I want to 'Remove'.

I am signed-in to my Firefox sync on my work and home computer, including syncing add-ons.

I was testing limited add-on installation to approved add-ons in our enterprise on my work computer and inadvertently removed all of my extensions. Without thinking it through I performed a manual Firefox sync on my work computer, which I fear has synced the extension removal to Firefox sync (the opposite of what I wanted to happen).

When I got home I immediately removed add-ons from Firefox Sync, fortunately it seems before any changes synced to my home computer. So I have all of my original add-ons on my home computer, with add-on sync turned OFF.

What's the easiest way of restoring the extensions to my work computer from my home computer? If I enable sync of add-ons on my home computer, will it

1. sync my good add-on configuration from my home computer to my work computer, or
2. sync my bad add-on configuration from my work computer to my home computer?

I was in a game called bloxd.io, and in order to crouch I press caps lock. It helps me crouch, but when I click caps lock again to turn it off, I don't uncrouch, and I am crouched until I reload. This is really annoying. It doesn't happen with chrome or safari. Please help. Thanks

For the last week or so a lot of bookmarked web pages are not displaying correctly & links in emails to websites are the same. Seeing a safelinks protection tag in the tool bar when clicking the email links, then the website does not display properly. See image, this is how they look.

I run a food-related site https://5guyzmenu.com that displays fast food menus (like burger prices, combos, etc.) which update regularly. I've noticed that Firefox often shows a cached version of certain pages (especially /menu/) even after we update them with fresh pricing or item changes.

We use proper cache-control headers and Cloudflare as our CDN, but Firefox still seems to hold onto old versions longer than expected — unless users do a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5).

Has anyone dealt with this issue on dynamic sites?

Does Firefox handle cache differently from Chrome for max-age, no-store, or ETag?

Is there a known bug or setting related to aggressive caching in recent versions?

Would love to hear your thoughts or recommendations from anyone who has faced this with frequently-updated content.
