I've suddenly lost sound while using any online video services. Sound works fine when using other browsers. How can I restore sound?

Whatever the case, where and how do I check and/or adjust the HLS setting?
Firefox has no sound. How to fix? This happened after update.
Sound disappeared in foxfire, works perfectly in Microsoft Edge, using windows 10.
Today I cannot to listen my videos as everyday. It's like the sound disappear.

Reposting until I get help from someone. Windows/desktop. On Google Chrome, any streaming website I used with autoplay enabled would KEEP full screen mode ON after changing episodes. It would automatically go to a new page with the following episode and remain full screen. Why doesn't Firefox have this feature?? I'm seriously considering going back to Google Chrome for this one small feature. Every time I had any streaming service playing with autoplay enabled, I didn't have to manually select the full screen option every time. I am having to stand up and manually click full screen function. Every. Single. Time. Somebody please help me if there's a way to active that function.

I like firefox, but I have to switch browsers to watch any type of video. When I try to load a video on firefox, it turns black and never loads.
Got it! I’ll be more specific next time. For example, YouTube videos often play choppy on Firefox, especially in HD. Thanks for the guidance! 😊

I have tried: 1) troubleshoot mode: no changes 2) clearing cache: no change 3) making a new Mozilla profile: no change 4) lowering/turning off security protections 5) refreshing from uninstall 6) uninstalling and reinstalling 7) Allowed autoplay of media 8) toggled off drm
The primary sites that I use are; HBO - error 1K-003 Twitch- error#4000 Patreon- doesn't error out, but just goes black on player Dropout.tv- player error YoutubeLive- Browser error

I use eBird extensively. When I try to play the audio (with sonograms), I get a message that says "We are still processing this file. Try again later". These files perform well on my Android phone, so I know it it is not eBird's glitch. I am confused about the setting options on Firefox that I need to set. These files are usually .wav format. I have tried to open a ticket with eBird, but have not had a response. Can you guide me? Thanks.
