Das Icon darf sich nicht verschieben.
Damit bildet der Browser ein Menue ab Beispiel : Struktur von Aufrufen Bund Länder Kommune Hilfe

WHY? WHY DO YOU NOT RESPECT YOUR USER'S REQUESTS AND CONTINUE TO DO THIS?
WE ALL REMEMBER THE TIME YOU SHOVED ADVERTISEMENTS INTO IT.
I"D RATHER PAY FOR FIREFOX THAN HAVE THIS RIDICULOUS GARBAGE HAPPEN EVERY TIME YOU UPDATE THE APPLICATION.
MAKE A SETTING FOR THIS OR SOMETHING THAT YOU WON'T JUST IGNORE OR OVERRIDE THE NEXT TIME YOU WANT TO SPAM YOUR ENTIRE USER BASE

When I bookmark a site and then have it in my "Recent Activity" on the homepage, how long will it stay there? They seem to disappear all too soon.
We should to be able to DRAG-AND-DROP shortcuts on the top page. For eternal comfort.

Had to recently reset my browser and lost all my history. Apparently it messed up my custom settings in some way as well.
New Tab still shows my FF homepage with shortcuts and history gone - I've managed to get those back but with one huge problem:
- Clicking on a shortcut opens it in the same tab, whereas earlier I had it working when clicking on a shortcut would open it IN A NEW TAB.
Where's the setting in about:config to fix this???
If this feature has been removed - why???
I really hate your new format for your recommended articles, and cannot find a decent article to customize it. It is really horrible.

I installed Firefox on a fresh Win 11 install, and most of the the favicons are still generic on the Home Page several days later. Facebook, Ebay and Youtube are the only ones that appear consistently, sometimes other will display, but then be gone again the next time the app is launched. All other links just have the generic letter icons.
I tried deleting the 3 favicon files in the Profiles folder, but it did nothing. I've tried manually re-adding the links, still nothing. I removed the "S" from "https;//" and still nothing. The favicons all show up on my other machines which use Firefox on the same user account, so it is not a problem with the websites themselves.
Not sure if its related, but upon installing Firefox on this machine, it made Firefox on my Mac desktop absolutely freak out. I had to make a significant number of changes over the course of hours to fix everything, so many relating to favicons alone that I don't know what actually fixed it.
What else can I do to try and get these working? Why does Firefox apparently struggle with this particular feature across multiple OSes?

Hi. I have done a cleaning with CCleaner, so not sure if it affected firefox, but now the new tab page doesn't have my shortcuts any longer nor any buttons to add them. I had 4 rows of my most used ones. Now I only have the "recent activity" 2 rows....but they don't seem to fill in either...not sure what went wrong. in my settings the shortcut button is ticked. Is there a way I could revert to firefox that I had a couple of hours ago, to see my shortcuts back? I am not technical, so don't know what to do. thanks.

I have used Firefox on my PC for ever (10-15 years). Yahoo was set to be my home page so I can get to my email. Starting 5-6 days ago when I click Mozilla Firefox on my task bar it opens a white (blank) page, no yahoo (but it shows yahoo.com in the address bar). I can go to my book marks and got them or type in a URL and go there OK. But, to see my mail I have to open Google Chrome to get to yahoo and log in. If I'm on Firefox and get the blank screen, then go to another URL from my bookmarks then type in yahoo.com it goes back to a blank screen that shows https://www.yahoo.com/ in the address.
