Firefox removed the "View Image" option from the right click menu. You can "open image in new tab" but that is not the same thing and is not what I'm trying to do. The inconvenience of this removal is driving me mad. "View Image" was literally the only thing Firefox had for me over Chrome and I would really like it back. Is there any way to customize or modify Firefox to regain this option? Or if a developer is hearing this, can you bring back that option somehow? I don't want to run an older version of FIrefox just to have it work, especially with the security risk that poses.

My vertical scroll bar is very thin, barely even visible, like 4 pixels thick. The problem is the same as already posted in these forums, both solutions were only temporary solutions. I'll state them here for simplicity:

a) The first step is to open the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" page and find the button to access the profile folder. You need to create a folder with the name chrome in this folder (name is all lowercase). In the chrome folder you need to create a plain text file with the name userContent.css (name is case sensitive). Paste in "*{scrollbar-color:auto!important; scrollbar-width:auto!important;}"

This worked but then some scroll bars were extremely thick, and even showed while watching YouTube videos.

b) Clearing the startup cache.

Again, this did seem to work, but only temporarily. I removed the file from step a) and it remained fine until a day or two later.

Firefox Version 88.0 (64-bit), Windows 10 v10.0.19041 Using screen extension with HDMI. Problem happens on both screens. Pages that this occurs on seem to be random, increasing over time. The page I'm writing this question on included. Thanks for reading and helping.

Introduction So I learned the hard way to never run sudo apt remove python3 on an ubuntu system. I'm running Linuxlite (Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS) on a dell desktop (unsure of the model).

The Problem After looking at some guides and upgrading the operating system, I managed to get most of the fonts to display correctly. Sites with certain kinds of text still appear to be "too bold" (see images).

""What I've tried"" The command actually removed Mozilla, so I had to reinstall it. Updating it also didn't fix the problem. I have messed around with the font settings and nothing changed. It seems that only Mozilla is doing this because the Brave browser displays the fonts correctly. Other than that, I haven't really done all that much. Also the font as I write this is normal.

Thanks for your consideration!

When marking student scripts, I download and open a large number of files in a day. So I want it to be easy. But Firefox does not deliver what it promises. I want to click on the file link on the teaching website and the file to open automatically. But everytime I have to navigate to click in a dialog box in order to open the file. Is there any way to get Firefox to do what is says "Do this automaticall..."?

As far as I can see, these are bog standard .pdf, .docx and .doc files.

Per the title, webgl suddenly stopped working a couple days ago. The error seems to be:

WebGL creation failed: * WebglAllowWindowsNativeGl:false restricts context creation on this system.

I'm on Ubuntu 21.04 (X, not wayland) with an nvidia graphics card. The "share data" below seems comprehensive, but let me know if any other info will help.

Hi! I've been using Firefox the last 8 years, and so far I have not had any problems. I have latest version of Mac OS. I used to play Friv flash games at https://www.friv.com/, but it has not been updated for a long time, so I started playing at https://www.friv5online.com/, https://www.desura.com/ and https://www.y8games.center/. I don't remember exactly when it started, but definitely after the next update Mozilla and now I can not to play any game! When I go to the page with the game, there is a black background... I have three FF profiles on my Linux Mint 19.3 system (work, not-work and one for e-tail). Somehow the problem only appeared after I added that last one. All profiles have the same syntax; I checked the files. Neither one is set to be the dominant one. Typically, I don't use more than one at a time.

I also use Claws mail. Whenever I get any mail with a link I want to check out, I just used to click on that link and it opened in a new tab in the FF browser profile that was currently open. Similarly, whenever I wanted to see the HTML version of a mail, I right-clicked on the html-icon and chose open. Again, it picked the open browser.

Now, though, whenever I pick either one of those options above, I get the "Choose User Profile" box. If I pick the profile that is currently open, I get an error telling me that it's already running.

Since I mostly read email when I use the no-work FF profile, I tried to add "firefox -P NotWork -no-remote --class NotWorkProfile" but that also resulted in the choose user profile box to open.

My current work-around is to copy the link and open it in a new tab, or pull the whole mail into the tab to see the HTML version. Quite annoying.

Is there any way to get it to ignore all other profiles but the currently open one? Thank you for anyone who has an idea. Let me know if there's anything else I may add to explain the situation.

[My apologies if this isn't the right forum; I'm also attempting to ask this question in the Linux Mint and Claws forums, if those exist.]
