I have looked on the web and continue to find all sorts of references on how to configure your browser to open the tabs I had open last time I closed the browser. I have the "Open previous windows and tabs" checked in the General settings....and it doesn't work! How is that? Any special thing I need to do to get it to work?

Is Firefox not growing or everything needs to be highlighted? I have never highlighted anything to chrome yet it has done things that are worth it.

Last week I went through the process of choosing a profile so I would not be faced with choosing whenever firefox opened. ( I was guided through the process by some of you elders.) My bookmarks are all in place but that history no longer accumulates, not even during the session I am in. I must have hit something without knowing it. I have gone up and down settings on several levels, but I can't figure out what will make this work again. It is helpful to have this reference so I would appreciate help. Gratefully, Marjorie Kinsey

I'm used to use the sidebar history to open previous links for a variety of reasons. You used to be able to click or middle mouse click the links to open the tab in the current or a new tab. But it seem now i can only left click the links and it opens them in a new tab regardless. Right clicking only allows you to open the link in a new tab or a new (private) window.
Is there a way to fix this? Please help.

I don't fully remember when this happened, but lately the browser has trouble clearing my search history even though I had it set so that it does so every time I close it. I only managed to fix it by making it so that it doesn't remember the search history, but some of the old searches are still there whenever I punch in part of what I was searching.
There is an error in "Add to home Screen" only in the official and beta versions. I am unable to add any website to my home screen.

I was working on my computer when I accidentally clicked out of my tab that had all my pinned windows on it. But then I accidentally started a new tab and deleted it. So now when I try to restore previous session it goes to the tab I just deleted and not the one with all my pins. Is there a way I can get all my pinned tabs back?

Problem: Cannot clear history from Firefix Started with Menu and clear recent history. Looked everyplace there was information about history. Tried removing individual entries. Ran Malwarebytes. Dell XPS 8960 with Windows 11 less than one year old. No response with any steps I take. Also, there are no error messages. I am unable to clear history no matter which tools I use. No error messages. All the suggestions I tried had no effect. Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox.
Oddly, I tried my older Dell Inspiron 3650, with Windows 10, and clear history works like it should.
Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox. So far, all the advice goes down the same path; history, clean recent history, manage history, etc.. Tried refreshing and today I deleted Firefox app and reloaded. No improvement. Results same with Verify Integrity > Task: checkIntegrity - Unable to fix corruption, places.sqlite will be replaced on next startup > Task: checkCoherence - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: expire - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: vacuum - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: stats - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: _refreshUI - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task.
