I just got a new laptop a few days ago and I signed into my Mozilla account but none of my bookmarks or history is pulling up. Does it take a while?

I recently reinstalled Windows on my computer and expected Firefox to sync and restore my saved passwords, as I had enabled Firefox Sync before reinstalling. However, after syncing my account, my passwords did not appear, and I am unable to access them.

I have already tried the following steps:

   Checked the sync status of my Firefox account.
   Ensured that I am signed into the correct Firefox account on my browser.
   Searched for any relevant troubleshooting steps but haven't been able to resolve the issue.

Could you please assist me in restoring my saved passwords or provide any guidance on how I can retrieve them?

I'm attempting to set up Firefox in a newly installed OS and have logged into my Sync account. Many aspects seem to be loaded in, but the status via the Settings is stuck at "Syncing..." despite waiting several hours. Quitting Firefox results in a crash window popping up.

There are no files in the weave/logs directory. The weave/failed directory has multiple json files; most almost completely empty. addons.json has an ID, but that's pretty much it.

Deleting the .mozilla directory and starting over yielded no change in behavior.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

All my saved passwords are missing. I am synced and logged into an Android phone. I usually use an iphone but have not checked syncing there yet, or on a computer/laptop.

I had to re-installed from 0 my windows. I was sure my Firefox account had all my passwords and logins because I had problems in the past regarding this. Installed Firefox into my new fresh windows. Hit the Sync bottom. Lastly, remove the old Firefox account login from old windows (for safety).

Now I checked password, 0 passwords saved.....

I am trying to re-sync but nothing happens...

I installed a new Windows 10, then I installed the latest version of Mozilla Firefox v133 and there's no sync option in this version 🤔 What is the problem?

I want to recover my bookmarks and passwords

Earlier today I reformatted my device but when I logged in to firefox I can only see my history is getting synced my bookmarks are empty, I've checked and bookmarks are check off and they should be synced. How do I get them to sync? It has worked fine in the past. Thanks.

Hi,

I changed my password in my Mozilla account and now I can no longer sync my firefox for android.

I scan the QR code and on my android screen proceeded normal and asking me to confirm but in my desktop I get an error.

"General application error Something went wrong. Try again later."

I also tried in safe mode with no luck.

What to do now?

I've synced all my data (including add-ons, passwords, bookmarks, etc) to my firefox binded account on fedora linux then change my linux distro and re-setup firefox on Manjaro KDE, login and etc

found out that everything synced but my previous add-ons and open tabs are gone for good I've so many opened tabs are my custom add-ons settings on so many add-ons for personal preferences are gone

I've faced this many times but I thought somehow these days firefox might have fixed these issues but i'm so sad that all my important data are gone :(

I'm using firefox only just for sync+privacy for hassle free setup again and again over many devices otherwise i prefer tor for much anonymity and privacy

PLEASE, YOU GUYS CONSIDER WORKING ON SYNCHRONIZATION FEATURES SPECIFICALLY <ADD-ONS> AND <OPEN TABS>

1: my pc is broken, then I got new system and hdd. 2: I download firefox and login. 3: Press Sync now and nothing happen.

What I want:

so I did a factory data reset of my s22 Plus last week and I just tried to send it a tab from my Mac to my phone which doesn't work but it works the other way. The device was still signed into my account I signed it out sign it back in from the phone and every time I try to scan the QR code to connect another device from the QR code scanner in the search bar of the Firefox browser it keeps saying that I need to use like another app because it thinks it thinks I'm using the phones camera I'm not quite sure where to go from here

I recently refreshed Firefox. When I re-opened the program, I was logged out. I successfully logged back in, but despite saying I'm "synced", none of my settings (themes, passwords, bookmarks, etc.) are showing up, even after waiting 30 minutes. Typically sync has taken a few seconds for me. FYI, this is on my work computer and I don't have administrator access, so I would prefer a solution (if possible) that does not require an uninstallation or installation (which I cannot do without contacting an administrator). Dzień dobry, po zmianie urzadzenia (PC) pomimo tego ze na starym urzadzeniu zawsze byłem zalogowany do Firefoxa (synchronizacja byla automatyczna), to na nowym urządzeniu po zalogowaniu nie mam dostepu do wczesniej zapisanch zakladek oraz haseł. Prosze o pomoc, pozdrawim D.

I recently reset my laptop, when I logged into my mozilla account on my firefox, it is hasn't synced my passwords, hisotry, bookmarks and extensions. The sync is on, I've eevn tried to manually initiate sync. Did not work.
