I have set E:\ as my default download location. However in some cases Firefox does not respect my choice and silently downloads stuff to C:\Users\Name\Downloads. I really hate this. One example, a pdf downloaded from here https://scribd.vpdfs.com/. Please fix it. Thx.

My default search engine has always been Firefox for years. Since the last Firefox update, when I select + and get to a New Tab, the search engine changes to Google.

I am on Windows 10. I want the New Tab to stay with Firefox. Any tips?

It's not that they are not in my Firefox downloads manager, which I expected. It's that I confirmed before closing my private browsing window that they were in my Downloads folder on my C drive, and when I went back after closing the private browsing window they were gone. Under "recent files" in my file browser it showed a couple of the most recent downloads and when I tried to click to open them it said they had been moved or deleted. Entering the first couple words of the file titles in the search bar in my file browser yields absolutely nothing.

This was over 30 files or so. It will be really irritating to try to find and download all of them again. Does anyone know of any way for me to get them back???

I'd like to take a full-page screenshot of my content within my Canvas/Instructure online class, but it only captures what's visible. I've tried opening the frame in its own tab, but it doesn't help.

When I use my phone to capture the entire page, it can work, but it's so narrow! Plus I have to continuously tap the "Scroll Down" button for the capturing process to capture more and more.

I could access it until about 1.5 years ago when I used it a lot. Now I cannot access it anymore but this is an official governmental site www.idaan.gob.pa so why cannot it accessed now? I cannot access if from any of my devices, including those with the most up to date windows and Apple versions.

What do I need to do? contacting the institution is out of question as the site works OK in that country, so it is a FireFox problem outside of the country. Please help. Thanks, Helena

I am not able to download videos from Facebook or you tube to my desktop while using Firefox. My default is Klite standard worked as of yesterday not all i see is the icon for klite standard not the video it self. and i do not see it in the application on the generals tab. it is messed up i even tried windows media player and that as well did not work. all the video download fail . so meting is very wrong. I even re installed firefox and that did not help. i will try and explain this better. when i go to you tube and try and down load a video to my desktop using Fire fox all i see is the out line of the video the video does not come up. see the attachmentsbold text

The steps I have taken so far:

• Tools -> Page Info -> Permissions (everything was fine)
• Reloaded page using Shift+ Left Click to bypass cache
• Reloaded page with Ctrl + F5
• Started Firefox in Troubleshoot mode to assure it wasn't my extensions (I only use ublock but better safe than sorry)
• I disabled extensions after reloading in usual mode

What steps are next after these basic troubleshooting? I was hoping to use that site to share creations with friends.

I am on a school site and frequently download Word documents. Prior to a recent update ( this summer) the files went to a download manager and I could either work o the document or continue to work on the current webpage. However, sionce the update, the docuemnt is saved but inthe process I am kicked off the current webpage. Should I revert back to a previous version of Firefox or is there a workaround or patch? Recently I haven't been able to sign into Coinbase. When I first try to sign in I just get the spinning circle for a minute or two as seen in the first photo attachment. It then turns into the second image I have attached. It appears to have to do with "human" verification. I set Coinbase as an exception everywhere I can in the setting with no change. This is a recent issue as it only started in September so there a recent change with Firefox. I am able to sign into all other websites without any issue and can sign into Coinbase with every other browser so this is very specific and only applies to Coinbase on Firefox. Why I unable to sign in?
