We have a website where our clients upload their images and there would be lots of images i.e 1000 or 10000 . There is one option on the website from where clients brows their files and upload .I need to know that is there a limit on the browser that he can’t upload more than 2000 files or it is depend on the system configuration. Please help me with this because there are several client who upload 10000 files once in a year. Waiting for your valuable reply . Thanks.

Firefox was running slow. I set up a sync account, uninstalled Firefox. Reinstalled it but cannot get the sync in order to recover bookmarks and passwords. is there a way to sign in to the sync account and resync the device? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Normally, when Firefox encounters a link with a pseudo-protocol that it doesn't know how to process (such as iTunes store links, which Apple only wants you to open with iTunes), usually Firefox puts up a "Launch Application" dialog each time, which allows the user to choose a program to use for the URL (or, for the way I usually use this dialog, to cancel the attempt to act on the URL completely) - unless you check the "Remember my choice" option, in which case it will stop asking, but put an entry on the Applications page of the Options dialog, in case you want to change the chosen action in the future. However, in the case of the new Windows store URLs, I don't get that dialog and I don't have an entry in the Options; I automatically get thrown off the Desktop and into the Windows store app every time, with no obvious way to change this behavior. What's different about these URLs (or about Firefox's reaction to them) that won't allow me to modify or abort this action?

I have installed Aurora (version 29.0a2, Australis interface) on my PC running Windows 8.1 64-bit. When I run Aurora in Windows 8 Touch mode (using the Windows 8 button in Aurora) it just shows the app's splash screen and disappears. Needless to say, Aurora is set as my default browser.

Is this a known bug and would be solved soon, or is it just happening with me?

UPDATE: I found this error message in the Windows event logs: "Activation of the app DefaultBrowser_NOPUBLISHERID!1E05176855CC7D2F for the Windows.Launch contract failed with error: Access is denied."

Why id Firefox consuming so much more CPU cycles then the same (Facebook page) on other browsers? You may see the difference in this screen capture FF27 vs IE11 Is there another way to fix this then the AdBlock filter suggested before? This might maybe temporary fix the issue but who knows what problem it introduces for next?

Whenever I have Firefox browser window open, and then select to open a private browsing window, the open Firefox browser red X close button grays out and does not close, minimize, or restore up or down. This happens to both the regular Firefox browser window and the private browsing window. Sometimes, this occurs when only the regular Firefox browser is open and not any private browsing windows.

When I go to resetting my LAN setting (Tools Options Advanced & Settings) it is auto-connect to proxy settings for this network..

Then a couple of minutes it changes to a manual proxy connection.

Is there a way of keeping the auto-connection without it reverting to the manual setting?

I'd like to distribute Firefox with some pre-installed preferences (including Adblock Plus settings) in my organization.

Fallowing preferences setup via prefs.js don't work:

   pref("extensions.adblockplus.data_directory", "\\\\" + getenv("USERDNSDOMAIN") + "\\App\\Firefox\\ESR\\adblockplus\\data\\")
   pref("extensions.adblockplus.patternsfile", "\\\\" + getenv("USERDNSDOMAIN") + "\\App\\Firefox\\ESR\\adblockplus\\patterns.ini");

Is Firefox allowing to use USERDNSDOMAIN or USERDOMAIN varibles in prefs.js? Is this syntax OK? Could someone help me to figure why it is not working?

I have a voucher from a pub chain which shows on screen all the standard fixed information regarding the offer, plus all the personal details, eg name, ref number etc. When I try to print it only the standard parts are printed and none of the personal elements.

I have a new computer with Windows 8. I can't get any sound. The speakers have power and the volume in

the control panel is at medium. I also can't play videos without an error message.

This only happens with cnn videos. Same problem when using safe-mode. Internet explorer runs these videos ok. Firefox seems to quit before it gets to the video window.

I'd like to create a shortcut which acts on the existing Firefox instance. If iconified, it should deiconify. In any case, it should come to the top of the window stack and take focus. I have looked over the command line arguments, and I don't see one that will do that. The closest I can come is to give it a URL; but I don't really want to open a new tab.
