I have a problem with FF73 on my Windows 8 tablet. So in FF72 and all previous versions double tapping on YouTube videos switched between fullscreen and windowed modes of said videos, yet with FF73 for some reason double tapping now does fast forward/fast backwards 10 seconds actions depending on where I tap on the screen, which is something I understand is an expected behaviour on Android and other mobile oriented operating systems. I hate it and want double tap to go to it's old functionality. Going back to FF72 does fix the problem, so the problem is not on YouTube's end. Also going back to the previous version of FF creates a whole set of annoying problems, so it's obviously not optimal. I wonder if there is some hidden config setting introduced in FF73 that tells YouTube I'm on a tablet specifically, which was not previously shared? Any ideas?

When I try to open Netflix on my computer I get a message telling me to get the latest version of Firefox. I do an update process and Firefox tells me that I have the latest version.

Tried to do a system restore this AM to the last auto restore point--it failed due to a registry fault-tried two other restore points all failed for the same reason. All desktop items were ok on 5-12-20 @ ~ 10 PM when the Firefox update was initiated. As soon as PC was started this AM the error msgs appeared

With the most recent Firefox update, I suddenly have Start Meeting and Join Meeting alongside my hangout and chat people...I DO NOT WANT THIS IN WITH MY GMAIL INFO AND MY CONTACTS AND HANGOUT FOLKS....

When I access Logins and Passwords and try to see or copy a password Firefox always crashes. My operating is Windows 8 in Portuguese. It was working well before this last update. What can I do to solve this? I really need to see the passwords because I can't remember them all. Thanks.

I have been trying to figure out why videos that are embedded on certain sites do not show up on Firefox however they show up in Chrome?

I've gone through everything listed here:

A few key notes, even when in safe mode, the video problem still persists. But only on specific websites (squarespace sites). I can see videos through websites like Zoom, Shaw Bluewave, youtube, etc etc. But for some reason on this one site I can't get videos to display to play. Yet when I go to Chrome it's there and fine. So it's an issue with Firefox. I'm not sure how to fix it at this point.

I've unchecked Use recommended performance settings. I've switched the default theme I've disabled extensions (which fixed another issue of not displaying images) I've refreshed Firefox I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox I've checked all my graphics drives (they're all there and working)

At this point I'm not sure what to do. Can you please let me know if you have any recommendations?

I reformated my pc. When i installed Firefox and tried to sync it asked for a code that was sent to my e-mail, but I can't access my e-mail. how can I recover my account if I can't access my e-mail? It's there any way to contact Firefox support to recover my account by other ways?

ERROR MESSAGE the bookmarks and history will not be functional because one of firefox file is in use by another application, some security software can cause this problem

I just posted two questions to the community. When I click on "my questions" I am brought to a page that tells me there are no results for "in English" and to try another keyword. How do I get to see my question I posted?

God dammit! Recently google seem to understand me the exact opposite way around and it keeps showing me only how to hide Firefox's scrollbar!!! But what I want to know is how can I force Firefox's scrollbar to always be visible and how to make it thicker and darker. On some websites the scrollbar hides when inactive but I want it to always be visible and the color is really bright sometimes I cant see it. Is there a way to make it darker and thicker and not have it follow my windows theme.

Hi guys! I can't clear cashe and data completely from Firefox . I even updated new version of Firefox. Is there a Firefox file in my WINDOWS 8 that should be deleted? Please help!

Is there a way to customize the urlbar and disable the annoying "visit this site" and "search with"? Everytime when typing for an address, the incomplete "visit this site" leads to a problem. May any expert from Mozilla Firefox explain that? Any modification like those should be user-selectable. The use must be as much professional as possible, even though this browser is intended for all targets. This way, you're only annoying users and leading them to use other browsers like Chrome (crap) and Explorer (crap). Keep in mind that many others are developing new browsers, live Avast, and when people leaves, it will be difficult for you for them to come back. Use common sense. Thanks.

I have been using Firefox browser for quite some time with no problems, it is my prefered browser on my Toshiba Laptop with Os windows 10. Up until just recently I have been able to play videos from youtube, and now I can't. This includes videos I sent to others in the past, I can view them on Microsoft edge, so I don't think it is a hardware issue, something has been removed of blocked but I can't find it, please help if you can, thanks.

On my Telenor site, there is in the corner a little letter and says webmail. When I click on that I get my old friends webmail adress and he died for 2 years ago!?? How to get tis off from my site???? I did help him before to read his mail etc. I have tried everything and talked to Telenor but they said I have to talk to Mozilla!
