this web page http://davoonline.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=3 http://davoonline.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=3

when i click, i get a blank page with this text: Strict Standards: Declaration of phpbb\template\twig\loader::findTemplate() should be compatible with Twig\Loader\FilesystemLoader::findTemplate($name, $throw = true) in /home/content/43/5415943/html/phpBB3/phpbb/template/twig/loader.php on line 20

Whenever I go to save a web page, I would say 95% of the time, when I look in the download history, it says failed. If you double-click on the failed page, then it downloads. The thing I discovered is that when I go to my downloads folder on my hard drive, the pages actually do save most of the time, even though the download history says failed. What is troubling is that when I double-click on the "failed" page in the download history, it will show the page being downloaded. But when I click on the saved page in my downloads folder, then the saved web page does not look at all like the original page. Instead it looks more like a text file with some photos on the page. The page looks disorganized. If I click to save the web page again, and let it say failed in the download history (I don't double-click on the page in the download history) then the page opens normally from my downloads folder. The thing that bothers me the most is that some pages that say failed actually failed. This creates uncertainty as to whether I can trust Firefox to actually download a page without me always going to my downloads folder to check to see if the saved page is actually there. Earlier versions of Firefox did not have this issue. I like being able to open a saved page from the download history, but that cannot be done if the download history says failed. I believe this is a glitch in Firefox.

I have a serious "complaint" that Firefox 79 (32-bit) under Windows 7 Pro SP1 plus fixes does a very poor job of limiting its proportion of memory usage, or running cleanup automatically as per the about:memory "Minimize memory usage" button's action. Can some optimisation be done to alleviate this, say every 15mins perform this function automatically?

Workarounds: 1) Log off/Sign out of tab and close it. Open new tab and reload bookmarked URL. Move tab to former position, as necessary. 2) Close and re-open Firefox entirely.

Is no one else experiencing this?

Hello experts, I have a problem: I had a session window open with 116 tabs open and I cannot re-open them after restert of FireFox. I use the newest Firefox version 79.0 (64-Bit) on Windows 7 Pro SP1 and the extension "Tab Session Manager" I closed FireFay and as usual, after I restartef it, I waited for the opening of the series of my previous opened tabs. FireFax opened 117 tbs but did not fill in the URLs. They were all opened as new tabs. So I tried to open FireFox with deactivated add-ons. There it was possible to restore all the tabs. After that I closed FireFox again and opened it the usual way. It opened 116 tabs but they were all empty. I used the Add-on manager to shut down my extensions leaving only the tab session manager, AdblockPlus, NoScript. After restarting te tabs were empty again. In the list of the tab session manager I could find the sessions with 116 empty tabs (see ErrorTabSessionManager0.gif) but also the last session with the original tabs. See image ErrorTabSessionManager1.gif. I could even save this list from TabSessionManager. I updated PabSessionmanager to the newest version but that did not help. How can I get FireFox to load these previous tabs again, some of them are very important for me ? thanks for any help Jochen

I have Windows 7 and Firefox browser 79.0 (64bit).

I followed all troubleshooting steps: Firefox was "refreshed"; theme is default; all extensions were removed; hardware acceleration disabled.

Now, if I restart Firefox in Safe mode - the problem disappears. When I start it normally, the problem persists.

Can anyone help to troubleshoot this?

Thanks.

Hello. Forgive my broken English. for some time now I have not been able to print web pages from Firefox (on IE it works with the same pages). I followed all the instructions given here https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/corriger-problemes-impression-firefox but without success. Always the same message that says "an unknown error occurred during printing". I have completely reinstalled Firefox, but it's the same. Can you help me ? Thank you

thread is over here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1299043

I am responding to jscher2000, who posted to my question a short while ago about the loss of my bookmarks and being unable to restore. Thanks very much for the fast response. I checked the Places Database section of Troubleshooting, and as you suggested it does say "The places.sqlite database is sane", and "The favicons.sqlite database is sane". So I assume that's good? Now what do I do? Again, many thanks for the assistance.

More than twice a day, I have to close out Firefox, open taskmanager, and delete firefox processes. After doing that, my computer still won't work properly, so I run glary utilities and find 8000 tracks, 1gig of temp files. After cleaning that, the computer still does not work properly, so I have to reboot. I have 79.0 (64 bit).

I entered %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

I found two ,default files. Both had parent.lock. One .default file is simply ,default The other is ,default-1473830175463

What is going on and how to I fix the constant messup of firefox?

Help is much appreciated, frustrated.

In about:performance I see tabs listed after I have clicked on them whether they are the current tab I'm viewing or not. They stay there and continue to show 'energy impact' used. I would like to know if it's possible for tabs to go completely quiescent when they are not the current tab I'm viewing. I've set browser.tabs.remote.autostart to false and it doesn't change this.

FF 78.0.1 -- Every new release brings a new subset of problems. New releases are not well thought out...or tested. Features added that the FF developers think will 'help' are often scourges and plagues ! Am sick of new problems with every release. And the continuous Nags to download the latest release ! I ticked on a piece of paper today all the upgrade Nags. I can't deal with 43 nags again !

On YouTube I used to be able to let videos play, one of the other, all night long. And I could lay down and relax and listen to history, which I love. Undisturbed, videos would play for days. Now I am freaking fighting frequent interruptions and I have to get out of bed and re-select "Allow Audio and Video". My blown-out knee will utterly not tolerate all those ups and downs from the bed. Get that part ? FF randomly shuts down my playlists and queued videos. Can I revert to an earlier release that used to work with no hassles ?

I have looked into this at great length and looked at loads of forum 'answers'. None work.

Respond and tell me to do About:Config for the 112th time and I will throw something at you ! NONE OF THOSE SETTINGS WORK !!! I want the icon and everything associated with it gone ! Deleted. Trashed. Dead. Nuked. Obliterated.

I have had more than enough of this...

Okay, so I've had a problem that comes back every so often. I have "fixed" it twice already and it keeps coming back after a few days so I want to stop it at the cause rather than address the symptom constantly, and that is that I cannot download files with Firefox.

When I clock a button to download a file, I get no download prompt, nothing shows up in my downloads history list, and of course nothing happens.

I have run Firefox in Safe Mode and the problem does not exist there. I have then attempted to turn off the few add-ons I have, and this doesn't do the trick. I can't find anything in my security settings that would stop my attempts at downloading, and HOW have I "fixed" this before? By resetting everything, (the first time I did so I lost all of my saved passwords, the second time had to fix Firefox itself with a fresh download because the reset made it stop working altogether)

I'm not doing this a third time. It's more trouble than it's worth, and for as long as I've used this browser, I'm starting to consider alternatives here (not Chrome). So I figure this is my last effort: let's see what people know about this that I can't find already.
