When I moved my data from my old Windows 7 to my new Windows 11 computer, I used a Mozilla account to upload and save my bookmarks. I then transferred my data using a different method.

I would now like to delete my data from this (Mozilla) site but can't find it. Please show me how to clear all my bookmarks, passwords (!!!), everything from this site.

Thanks

So, this issue randomly started about a week ago and I've been scratching my head about it ever since, trying to find a solution. I don't know if it coincided with a Firefox upgrade, but I don't think so.

Here's the deal; in Firefox, when I go into google meets, my microphone and camera both show up as turned off with an exclamation mark, meaning I can't turn them on. This is my desktop PC and it has no camera, so the camera I understand. It definitely DOES have a microphone and I've used it many times.

The permission for "use the microphone" is set to allowed. When I click the exclamation mark on the camera, I get a popup saying "meet is blocked from using your camera". When I click the exclamation mark on the microphone button, my audio cuts out for a second, but other than that nothing happens - no popup, no explanation, nothing.

Other apps that use the microphone (i.e.; Teams) work just fine. Same browser, same permissions, same microphone. Microphone test sites also work just fine, so it's not a browser issue.

Using Google Meet in a different browser with the same microphone works just fine. I've tried Chrome and Opera - both work as expected.

On my other PC, a laptop, Google Meet with the same version of Firefox works just fine. So this must be some weird issue related to specifically my desktop.

Here is what I have tried so far; - Remove the mic permissions and set them again. - Clear all cookies, local storage, everything the browser has for this domain. - Turn off all extensions in the browser. - Restart browser, restart PC. - A combination of all of the above (remove permission, local storage, cookies, turn off extensions, close browser, restart PC, then start from scratch).

None of it makes any difference and I'm out of ideas. Does anyone know what the issue might be?

I previously posted this question on Google Meets support and the only reply I got was to try Firefox support... so here we are.

Hello, in my "Themes" section in the add-ons manager, I can view all the themes I have downloaded, and there are default ones I did not choose to install/download, and I would really like to disable these recommendations; for these, it only gives me the option "manage" whereas the ones I downloaded I also have the option choose to remove or report. They are not relevant to me, and they take up space and are a distraction from those I am interested in. Is there a way to disable these "Recommended Themes" section???

I created an account with chat gpt with my google login. Lately, when I try to log into it using Firefox, after I click the "Continue with Google" button, I am redirected to https://www.arkoselabs.com/ !

After a few tries with the same result, I tried in chrome and had no issues accessing my account.

This one's stumpped me. I'm at a loss. Anyone else having this problem? Is it a redirect virus? Chrome is prone to the yahoo redirect virus. I'm wondering if this is similar or if there's somethin' wrong.

Hi, As far as I know, Firefox hasn't recently updated but somehow my address bar is now below the tabs. I have searched everywhere and can't find a solution. Searching shows that this has been happening repeatedly for years with people having to go as far as adding code to configure it. It has never happened to me until the change appeared randomly today. Am I missing something, or has the option completely (and pointlessly) disappeared? Please point me in the right direction to restore the position of the address bar. Thanks.

Hi, as seen in the screenshots, the toolbar popup windows are way too small. This goes for installing addons, websites asking for permissions, and remembering autofill information. It only seems to affect those instances, as addons pinned to the toolbar work as expected.

I've tried:

  1. Clean reinstalling firefox (including deleting the Mozilla directories in AppData/Roaming + Local)
  2. Deleting the default profile and creating a new one and launching with that
  3. Deleting the xulstore.json file

The issue still occurs in troubleshoot mode, so doesn't seem to be an addon causing this. I also have the zoom set to 100% and font size as it was when installed; this is a fresh install still doing it.

This is similar to https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1342630, except that was 2 years ago and trying those solutions did not work for me.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello, I'm seeking assistance with my website, https://blogbuzzz.com/, which I frequently access and manage using Mozilla Firefox. I've been encountering slow loading times, formatting & Security warning issues. This issue seems to be specific to Firefox, as I don't experience it in other browsers. Could you please help me understand why this is happening and how to resolve it? Any insights into browser-specific settings or adjustments that I need to consider for optimal website performance in Firefox would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!"

Every time I open Mozilla browser, it crashes right after it opens.

This only started happening since recently. Before this, I haven't faced this issue while using this browser for year(s)

I have failed to resolve the issue with the following methods:

  • Updated Firefox
  • Tried to use Troubleshoot Mode (crash still happens)
  • Uninstalled Firefox, deleted additional files and re-installed
  • Did Refresh

Other browsers are working fine

I am using Razer Blade RTX 2070 Max Q, VR Ready Graphics (8GB GDDR6 VRAM) 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H Processor 6 Cores/12 Threads, up to 5.0GHz

Hello,

NOTICE: Currently using Firefox 120.0.1 "Update disabled by your system administrator" I am unable to update the browser, the computers are from the public library.

Like I state in the Subject, I configure the browser to strict privacy level, and I am able to visit any site I want. No problem. But on all of these, when I click the lock icon on the address bar I read "Connection verified by a certificate issuer that is not recognized by Mozilla." In fact, right now, I am visiting this website and I got that notice. View image "Firefox broser does not recognize the certificate issuer fortinet but I can visit the firefox suport website - Screenshot 2024-01-28 172732.png"

WOW... View the image "certificate issuer not recognized by Firefox - fortinet - when visiting support.firefox.com - Screenshot 2024-01-28 173041.png" for some of the info I get if I view more information about the certificate.

Then, after I logged out, the "Clear cookies and site data" link that appears after clicking the lock icon I mentioned before do not appear.

View the image "UNable to clear cookies and site data - proton.me - Screenshot 2024-01-28 141951 - edited.png"

In this same computer, I got the control "Clear cookies and site data." View image "able to clear cookies and site data - virustotal.com - Screenshot 2024-01-28 141825.png"

So more than one question:

I read other posts where users are unable to visit a website which has a certificate issued by an issuer that is not recognized by Mozilla. Why am I able to visit these websites?

What can I expect of the non appearing "Clear cookies and site data" link I described before?

Are these computers like totally hacked?
