I have a 2nd identical "other" folder located in the "other" folder. They are somehow linked to each other, so that if I try to delete a bookmark under the 2nd duplicate one, it deletes it from both. If I select something in one folder and then click on the second one that selected item shows under the second as well. I don't want two folders but cannot delete or change anything or it deletes the original as well. Other than restoring an old bookmark backup to replace this defective one does anyone have any solution to fixing this? Thanks Cheers

All of a sudden my web address bar at the top of the screen disappears when I open a web address and I have to push my mouse to the top of the screen to make it appear? Didn't used to do this.

I want replace firefox Windows Mozilla MSIX 1- 0 package browser from ms store with regular downloaded version but I do not want to lose all my settings.

How do I go about this?

For some time now, when I download a .pptx, .xlsx og .docx Firefox changes the file format to .pdf when downloading the file. I then have to manually choose the correct app for opening the file, overrule error messages and delete the ".pdf" when re-saving the file even though it recognises it is not really a pdf file.

I've tried to change the Firefox settings, clearing cache, restarting or deleting in config and other small attempts to reboot whatever suddenly started to cause this problem. As far as I can see, it is not an unknown issue, but I've not yet been able to find a solution to my problem, which is getting on my nerves.

Recently, I cleared the cookies and site data from my browser as I'd noticed they were taking quite of lot of space on my harddrive. I thought clearing them would just reset them, but it looks like they were completely wiped instead.

Now, the browser never remembers any login information, so I have to connect to every site I use everytime I open my computer. It's troublesome when some of them have double verification and I have to go through the trouble of checking my email and entering a code everytime. The websites don't ask me to enable cookies again, so I don't know how to make them remember my informations again.

Is there a way to re-enable cookies, or have the websites ask me to enable cookies again?

I'm having problems logging into any/all Wordpress dashboards following the latest Firefox (V127) update. The 'verifying' screen continues to cycle but doesn't produce the login screen. I can get them to work in Troubleshooting Mode. This also works when the 'New Tab Override' Add-on is disabled too. I've tried ALL of the recommended custom tab plugins with the same results, so it suggests a common incompatibility.

Have cleared cookies and browser cache. WP login works on all other browsers.

Would be grateful for any help and/or suggestions.

I use my local ISP for email service and tech support chk'd and there are no current issues with their email service. When Bitwarden is turned on and I open an email, none of the text in the reading panel of the email will show up. The "subject" header is readable, along with the words 'from' and 'to', but no text after them. The entire reading pane where the email text should be is blank. As soon as I turn Bitwarden off, I read read ALL the email text...??!!

So I just downloaded Firefox update and it wiped out all my open tabs ... very very inconvenient for me! Been using firefox for a long time and that never happened before. Some warning would have been nice.

Has there been an influx of blue as the preferred icon color the latest years?

With somewhat degraded eyes, this has started to become a problem for me.

I want to have Firefox Developer edition installed, but I have to settle for the standard edition. Why ? Because the standard edition has a distinct orange icon. I am not able to quick glance at the task bar and see the difference between what window is Firefox Dev (blue icon), Outlook (blue icon), VSCode (blue icon), Azure Data Studio (blue icon), WebStorm (blue icon), 1Password (blue icon) or MS Edge (blue icon).

My problem is that my web browser (in this case Firefox) is the application I most often switch back and forth between and the struggle is real... I have to spend a lot of time looking at the task bar to acuatlly be able to see what icon is Firefox Developer Edition.

I don't need this as a feature in Firefox, necessarily, just some tips or tricks if there is any icons in the program folder e.g. I can swap out.

Hi, the site "https://pixabay.com/" is suddently extremely slow with mozilla. The pictures don't showup or take many minutes before you can see them. Normally only white boxes show. The same site (pixabay) with the browser "Opera" works perfectly. I always use mozilla and since a short while it just doesn't work with pixabay (a site for royalty-free images). wise.com is a site I've used for a long time with Firefox. Now I can't log in. Access is still available from the Chrome browser, but I prefer Firefox

Dzień dobry, Po pierwsze chciałbym zapytać co mogło się wydarzyć- kilka dni temu po próbie otworzenia przeglądarki wyskoczył jakiś błąd, przez co musiałem zainstalować przeglądarkę jeszcze raz. Efektem tego jest usunięcie wszystkich zakładek i ustawień. Jeśli jest taka możliwość to prosiłbym o poradę w jaki sposób mógłbym przywrócić wcześniejsze ustawienia. Zacząłem ponownie dostosowywać przeglądarkę i napotkałem problem, a mianowicie po zainstalowaniu rozszerzenie nie pokazuje się on na górnym pasku jak miało to miejsce wcześniej. Jeśli nie ma możliwości przywrócenia wcześniejszych ustawień i zakładek to proszę o pomoc w dodaniu rozszerzenia do paska.

As a longtime user of Firefox, I had a nice setup where after the start page, clicking on the Firefox icon would take me to a page headed "Firefox" in large letters. On that page I had placed the icons for my frequently used programs. Each of the small "icon boxes" had menus that would allow entering a URL so that when clicked, the desired app would open. I was exploring MS Bing, mostly because I like the pictures they put up each day. It looks as though a "new Improved" version of Bing brings along the new MS AI component. Together they seem to have removed my Firefox setup or hidden it where I can't retrieve it. By using Firefox settings, I was able to remove the Bing URL. Good riddance!, but can I retrieve my page of links to most-used programs? I don't know where to look for that. If I have to reconstruct it, how is that done. Or how can I start a replacement. I can no longer use my camera on firefox, firefox displayed some message about camera when we were trying to chat, but I missed it, I have granted relevant permissions on the site, that we use reularly. The camera icon on the address bar appears red, and I noticed that in Windows security, it lists firefox access requests, but shows no way to grant these requests.

I am not tech minded so please if anyone could keep it simple, I would appreciate it.

So, this is going to be an incredibly weird question, but is anyone else having this issue? As of about two days ago, any time I try and load a video on youtube it will refuse to load for upwards of 30 seconds, however if I toggle the new stable volume option off/on it instantly loads. It will then play for about 2-3 minutes or more depending on video length (sometimes way more) before the buffer bar will stop entirely, take over two minutes to load the video again, then keep playing. More often than not doing this multiple times per singular video. Often times it won't even load anymore at all and I am forced to refresh the page and toggle the stable volume once again.

I've tried disabling every single extension I have, including ad blockers, restarting the entire browser, and using a different account, and it still happens no matter what. However it is not an issue that occurs on chrome or edge, so I'm at a complete loss of what is causing this. Looking up this issue comes up with next to no results, so is it possible this is a youtube issue or is something seriously wrong with my browser and I need to re-install it?

When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? Thanks.
