Built in PDF reader is showing blank and then prompting to close firefox -

Please help I am support a company who are really big on Firefox and love the built in PDF reader feature but recently when they open files they show blank and you ar then requested to close Firefox.

Any ideas of what the problem could be?

He has the latest version of Firefox from today I can see there was an update 2 days ago and there where some new features on the reader could this be the reason?

I have changed my email address. My old one is CLOSED. I am unable to make any changes to my current Mozilla account because I am sent a code to my CLOSED email. I have run in to this with other accounts before. It doesn't make sense!

I have a number of websites which send me notifications. If I let the notification sit for about 20 seconds or longer, then when I click on it, no web page comes up. It disappears as if I had clicked dismiss. Similarly, within that 20 second time., if I do click dismiss then the web page comes up anyway. Is there a setting that can affect this? Or is this the way it's supposed to happen?

My att.net account was deleted when I created Mozilla account. Can you please tell me how to fix this issue? Thank you, Mary B Bowen

Recently, in the past month or so, I have been having issues with my VPN addon Private Internet Access, my email provider Shortwave, and loading numerous websites. I tried troubleshooting it for a few weeks individually but it took a full Firefox refresh last week to get things working again. And it took only another week for everything to stop working again. The images in my emails are no longer loading (same issue as before), but they load in Gmail and I can download the emails properly, my VPN addon crashes and can't stay logged in same as before, and websites such as Nextdoor (I hate the drama but love the free goods) won't load the items for sale same as before.

I don't want to have to refresh every week, especially since I this is the computer I use for work and the amount of things I have to log back into is insane.

Clicking on Firefox icon to log in I receive following message and gray screen. firefox.exe - Entry Point Not Found " The procedure entry point Flush could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\xul.dll." Followed by another pop-up. "Could not load XPCOM" There was an automatic up-date several days ago and I have had this problem ever since. Is there a fix?

get663.com Loads randomly on the browser. I delete it and it returns on a random basis. Is there a way to prevent it reinstalling? I have to remove it 10-15 times a day. Thanks, Andy W.

I haven't yet found the correct configuration to do this.

What I want is: 1. History should either not be saved, or alternatively auto-deleted after a certain time (e.g. only keep history of the past hour), or as a last resort get deleted when closing the browser. 2. I want to keep the ability to restore recently closed tabs. I realize this is a bit in conflict to not having a history, but just remembering the last few closed tabs would be enough, or all tabs closed in the last few minutes. 3. When I restart the browser, I want it to restore my previously open tabs 4. I want to keep cookies and logins (i.e. not get logged out everywhere, and have the cookie dialogues after restarting the browser). 5. Not super important, but ideally I want to keep my saved favicons/website logos in the bookmarks and on the new tab page.

So basically I just want to way for the history to be empty or automatically pruned, without sanitizing any other data on exit or browsing in a kind of permanent private mode.

My sign on for my webmail has not worked for the past couple of months. I have changed my password and this does not help. I have contacted Centurylink and tried everything they suggested and it still does not work. Have you changed something with the browser that it does not function anymore with my email? My email works using Microsoft Edge browser. It just sits on the sign in page and gives me no reason it does not work. I have cleared my cache and it does not help.

I am hopeful you will be able to help me. All open tabs NOW disappear after power failure or Comcast temporarily loses service or I restart my computer. This never happened to me before ~ if my computer was affected by outage or I manually restarted it a message came up to click on asking if I wanted my tabs restored. 1 click and they were restored ~ that option is not available to me now. It's frustrating and time consuming for me to "look" for, and "try" to find those tabs I had open. If someone does respond to my question I won't know its been done unless I receive an email because I'm not certain I can find my way back to this support page, primarily because I cannot remember HOW I even found this page in the first place! I bookmarked this page so perhaps I will be able to return to it. Thanks for the "How to restore tabs" help I HOPE you can give me. Marilyn West

When I open browser on my windows 11 PC, I am besieged by notifications from online British newspaper "Metro.CO.UK." I cannot discover a way to stop the notifications. What's up with it?

Hello :) Since one of the 2022 Firefox updates, I am constantly experiencing font rendering issues when the hardware acceleration is enabled. It occurs after a while of browsing on all websites, regardless of font family. See the attached screenshots.

Windows 11 Pro (upgraded from 10 where the problem also occured), GeForce GTX 1070Ti, 2x 4k monitor.

I reinstalled nVidia drivers from scratch, cleared the Firefox data, even experimented a bit with Direct2D settings in about:config; disabling the extensions (ABP, Simple Tab Groups) does not help either. The problem disappears completely when the hardware acceleration is off, but obviously I would like to have it on (for Google Maps, Twitch, hi-res videos, etc.)

I've always loved Firefox and still do. How do I make it love me back? ((-;

I can't access my account anymore, this one was created by linking the mail address used for the account which apparently i never did. I tried every password i commonly used and none of them worked, so I think that this one was auto-generated and then saved, in my firefox account... What is really killing me is the 7 years of bookmarks and password that are locked behind this password, i can access the account by password recovery but that would defeat the purpose since I just learned that its linked to my data. I just changed my OS back to windows so file recuperation is gonna be a pain/impossible. The way i understand things i have to make my peace with all the websites I accumulated for years (and also the PWs) or wait and don't touch my PC because the firefox folder that was deleted was on the same HDD that i used for the new OS. Of course all of this wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have had a problem to my phone and send it back to the constructor for the warranty, which means if I'm not mistaken that my account just lost it's last link to me, except the auto-destruction button. Is starting to learn cryptography my best bet to reach my account ? Or is there something I didn't cover and there still a way ? Please tell me it's still possible.

I haven't been using Firefox for awhile since i lost my old laptop and phone (to be exact its 4 years or so) and now im back on using it, but i was unable to log in to this exact account at first since this what was prompted when i try to use my password (image one), i did try ask for a password recovery which the same error appeared but for some weird reason after trying it on the mobile version it let me use the google login and im able to get access to it. but it still wont let me change password, add passkey or add 2FA. is this some weird issue going on or am i missing an email or something??

Team, I have inadvertently been using 2 different Firefox accounts (for years now), each with one of my primary email addresses. I have a new phone and have been trying to Synchronize both of my laptops to it, thus discovering my problem.

It seems that I have created 2 different Firefox Accounts, each with 1 of my primary email accounts, but both of which have the same profile picture. (Which is why I didn't recognize this before.)

Is there a way to combine my 2 Firefox accounts but keep both of my primary email addresses (thus Merge or Combine, not remove 1)? This will allow both of my 2 laptops have the same configuration and keep all my saved passwords/logins/bookmarks/etc.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

For Reference, my devices are: 2x Windows 11 Laptops 1x Android Smartphone.

Firefox is not allowing me to use my prefered font for websites that I visit. This seems to have happend with a update to the browser as I never had a problem before. I do everything that is explained in the HELP section, but still fonts are choosen by the website. I do have "let websites choose their own font" unchecked. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

No, They are Blocking me the only way I can watch it is in troubleshooting mode, AND HAVE disabled the adblockers'.
