Not totally comfortable with Firefox/Authy yet but need to be - I installed FF on my desktop - I added 5 profiles in addition to default and everything went great - Then I loaded FF on my laptop and iPhone and tried to sync and the "Sign in" popup appeared - I added Authy after the fact to get the "The Code" but that failed - Not sure what to do other than walk away from my initial install - I successfully setup a second install via a different email/password - Any thoughts w/b most appreciated, Thanks Dave

I am still stumped as to why Firefox crashes, IF and that's a big IF, my session is restored, why my tabs are blank but the website names are still on the tabs. Click to reload sometimes works, while other times it doesn't. Google, Facebook, Twitter, WordPress websites I am logged into and others will not load anymore for at least an hour. The only way to access them is to open a private window. What is happening to this browser that causes these sites to not load anymore? Any clearing the browser history/cache doesn't bring these sites back. They will only come back an hour after the crash. I've also cleared my ISP cache too (ipconfig/flushdns).

I am an employer and use Indeed website to hire staff. I can log into my Indeed web account and can access all webpages except the Jobs webpage, the most fundamental part of this exercise.

I contacted Indeed and phone rep said to use Google Chrome which worked easily.

I am a dedicated Firefox user and do not want to use Google Chrome. Please fix this access problem which forces an employer to use Chrome to hire his workers.

Hey guys, this thing is bugging me and I've tried pretty much all about:config settings (+ refreshing firefox profile) I could find here to no avail. FF works fine, actually it works great, all links open in tabs, never seen a new window in normal operation except... I have it pinned on taskbar (main, monitor 1, you can't pin on secondary display) and it is all cool. However I have FF on secondary display and clicking on the FF taskbar icon opens a new empty FF window instead of just focusing FF. If FF is in main display, all works. To illustrate:

1. FF set to show on main display, clicking FF icon on the taskbar launches FF if not running or brings FF on top if running. Good

2. FF set to show on secondary display, clicking FF icon on the taskbar (main display) launches FF if not running (and opens it on the secondary display) or launches new empty FF window if FF is already running!. Clicking running FF icon on the secondary taskbar correctly activates FF

This is quite annoying as like 1/3 of the times I intend to bring FF up front I instead open a blank FF window which I need to close and click again on the correct FF icon.

I never want to see this content again and am considering switching browsers.

I don't want to see or think about ads, i don't want to know what getpocket is. I don't want chefs plate and their columbiahouse 2.0 bullshit product. It is absolute trash.

I do not want to see these things. Ever. Again.

If there is no way to remove these things from my browser its time to go back to chrome.

Hi, I use the Outlook web interface on firefox. I keep running into a strange bug. I'll start typing an e-mail message, and all of a sudden, my keystrokes are interpreted as commands instead of text. For instance, I'll type a word with an "n" in it, like "and", and somehow after I type the "a", the interface starts grabbing keystrokes away from the text field, so when I hit "n", it creates a new message, and the "d" ends up going into the text field of this new message. It's very frustrating, because I can't type more than a couple of sentences before the message and interface get screwed up. I've seen this misbehavior for a while, through several updates of firefox. No other web app behaves this way.

This has been happening to me for many months and through many browser updates. I/ going to have to get rid of firefox soon

Why is it Chrome you could have three extensions and still have high speed performance of chrome when loading, but when you have three extensions on firefox it loads slow when opening up the browser?

Up until the latest updates a week or two ago, UPS tracking worked fine. However, with version 100.x, UPS stopped working. All is get is the error message, "We are unable to complete your tracking request at this time. Please try again later.". I tried other older tracking numbers that I know are good, and the same error. However, UPS tracking using Chrome or Explorer/Edge works fine.

I could blame UPS, but both Chrome and Explorer/Edge does work.

Apparently, Firefox is sending a (buggy) request that UPS doesn't like.

Hi I'm using Firefox to open PDF files from a network directory. The reason is that it's probably the best PDF manager I can find.

• What I wanted to do was have an option to open the file in a native viewer such as Adobe, this way look at 2 parts of the document at the same time.

At the same time keep it in Firefox.

Is there a setting to do this or an add-on. The add-ons I've seen are meant to open directly to Adobe from a web link I think.

Hi, Some files, say PNG files, always download immediately. Other files ask where to be saved. In my settings, I only have about 4-6 entries, but PNG for example is not there. I deleted the handlers file and restarted. Same issue. The only thing I can think of is the fact that I'm using an account which syncs across 2-3 devices. How can I fix this issue?

How do you make sure the tab name is the same as the filename in Firefox?

It actually is some other property of the PDF document such as Title, which is metadata inside the file.
