i have 4 accounts on firefox and i cannot remember which account i have been used through years now i cannot sync my old data however i have tried the 4 emails and accounts i used and non of them is working

how can you help me

I installed a new hard drive into my computer and when I downloaded firefox again none of my saved links, passwords, themes, etc. moved over even though I signed into my account. Please help! Asap!

When I'm on my phone and signed into my Firefox I want to be able to send tabs to my desktop. I'll click the three dots on my Samsung 20fe, click share, and click send to device. My p.c. is listed and when i click on it, a box pop's up and says "tab sent. I don't know where it's going, but it's not making it to my desk top. I've tried logging out and logging back in. on both devises

Well, I don't know how I did it, but:

I'm trying to sync my Firefox between 2 PCs. I had trouble with it, and now the situation is: a) my source PC asks me to create a new profile as it spits the dummy on my existing one; it does not offer me the option of creating a new account b) my destination PC does the same. In both cases, when I choose the "Sync and save data" menu option, then enter my email, I get the message: "This profile was previously synced to a different account. To keep your data...To sign in using <email address>, create a new profile." Creating a new profile does not have all the configuration and info that I have in my current profile.

It would be nice if I could reset everything back to square one with the sync process. Does anyone have a good suggestion?

After reinstalling Firefox and logging into my account, my saved passwords, bookmarks, and other data have not synced and are missing.

I have confirmed I'm using the correct account and that sync is enabled for all data types.

I reinstalled the operating system, so to speak, changed my device. I clicked the sync button and it worked. I reinstalled the operating system and reinstalled the browser. I logged in, nothing happened. I rebooted, nothing changed. I clicked sync, everything was the same. Where are my bookmarks and passwords?

I have a desktop and a laptop on firefox. I am selling my laptop so i cleared history and deleted all bookmark history.

To my horror, even though i remember i have signed out of mozilla account on the laptop firefox, on my desktop firefox all the bookmarks including bookmark folders are gone. Thankfully, i have a fairly recent backup of firefox userprofile file so i restored them.

However, to my horror once more time, I realize now firefox sync automatically deletes my bookmarks everytime it syncs so i have to turn it off.

How can i make firefox sync to treat my current bookmarks as the latest and stop deleting them?

Firefox updated to the latest version and it lost everything. All my saved passwords are gone, all my bookmarks, data, etc. It said I could sign in with my account and it would sync them and bring them all over, it didn't. I can't use the original profile because it says it's outdated, I don't even know if it's the correct profile anyway. What am I supposed to do?

My bookmarks do not sync between my Android( Samsung 22 Ultra) and my Desktop( Windows). I show this issue as when I would delete and update bookmarks on my mobile. They did not update on my computer. I have tried signing out on my computer, which wiped out the bookmarks and other saved attributes. Then signing back in. This did not work. My bookmarks menu is bare. Even though in my account I have both my mobile and computer accounts connected. What can I do to fix this?

Some background, the bookmarks and other saved attributes where from chrome, I transferred them over.

I rarely used the Mozilla.org site. Use Firefox for about the last 20yrs, love you guys. Logged onto my Win10 laptop, 22Aug2025, about 7pm GMT+1, clicked on Firefox icon, got a little update window, it flashed, disappeared, did not seem to fully update, the screen came on for about 5sec, a flash. Then error messages each time I tried to go onto Firefox. First time this ever happened. When I reinstall I had to spend hours trying to get SYNC to retrieve my passwords, and bookmarks. Also a first, never had this problem previously. Now my history is gone as well as all the sites saved to my Firefox Home Page. What is going on? Also, these messages, I cannot find them in my ACCT. They just do not show up. If anyone answered me, I cannot find the replies. Were you hacked?

You need to enable me to sync the desktop to my mobile phone. I've had mozilla firefox on my Mac and android phone for years but now I am expected to work out how to create a back up and then delete all of my data and trust it will upload to the new browser on my desktop -- which before the update held the same data. Really unimpressed. Get it sorted.

Hi. I am trying to migrate Firefox from my wife's laptop to her new one, using sync. I've followed the instructions, set up sync on the old one, then set up sync on the new one with the same account. Nothing changes! Where am I going wrong? Or will I have to do a manual transfer instead?

I uninstalled Firefox on my computer and reinstalled it, but when I logged in, the account couldn’t sync, it was as if the sync couldn’t retrieve any data from the server. Nothing happened at all.

On my Android phone, the data is still there, but when I tap “Synchronize now,” nothing happens either. I’ve tried signing out and signing back in multiple times, but still nothing works.

I also tried switching to a different computer and a different internet connection, but it still didn’t work.

Hi Yesterday I replaced my computer. I'm trying to sync my account data, but unfortunately, nothing is syncing. I have all the data selected for syncing (bookmarks, history, etc.), and the logs in about:sync-log are empty. It looks like the data from your server has been cleared. Firefox is freshly installed. Please help.

I cannot log into my account and synchronize my data, logins and passwords. I downloaded the latest version of the browser on the official website. Hi, I created mozilla account and turned on synchronization to save my passwords, history, etc. After I done it, I formatted my pc. Now I've just downloaded mozilla and log in to my account to see that NONE of my data were saved... How is it even possible? I turned synchronization on and then selected which data I want to save. Will you be able to help my with that?
