I use the most up to date Firefox program. I needed to reinstall windows from scratch so backed up my files using the Firefox Backup option. When i try to restore the files, it restores only 2 bookmarks, 1 called Learn More, and another, a folder called How to Restore, and in it a book mark called Download. The bookmark just takes you to the Firefox home page. I dont know what to do.. there are bookmarks I need, so hope someone can help. Attached is an image of the file Firefox Created.

Until recently we had the use of AI Overview when searching. That has disappeared. How do we turn it on again?

I have tried accessing various Websites, including Google.com; DuckDuckGo.Com; whatismyipaddress.com, and this Mozilla support page. For each, I recieved the message: "Unable to find the proxy server". Turning the Firefox VPN off immediately enablabed the Websites to be loaded.

As you will appreciate, putting Websites on the exclude list should be done with care, and by exception. If the VPN doesn't work on well-known Websites, it's not exactly ... useful. 😥

All of a sudden I am finding that Firefox will not connect me to certain websites such as Walmart, Doordash and even Firefox itself. It looks like it's trying to but it just gets stuck. What's causing this and how do I fix it?

Subscription VPN quit working. When I fill out the help request and hit submit, It says "not working, try using a browser". I am in the Mozilla browser. Everything I try brings me back to the same

Browser shuts down within 10 -20 seconds of going to a website, and I get a crash report which I have clicked to forwarded each time to Mozilla.

Also have a new error message at the top of the browser that says: "The security sandbox is disabled. Your configuration is unsupported and less secure." (image attached)

Not sure if that is related or not.

First of all I would like to know why I have to surrender my personal information to get support. If I get one spam email or text I'm going to be pissed and on here looking for the person(s) responsible.

At some time after one of the updates, my passwords disappeared and no matter what I do, I need to reload them every time I start firefox as they are always missing.

Youtube playback causes Firefox to freeze up. Just the tab that is playing, not the entire browser. I have reinstalled firefox, used recommended settings and I have no addons or extensions. Other browsers work fine and there is nothing wrong with my computer. It is only firefox. This has been happening for about a month now.

I can't do a review or get in contact with the developer of "Watchmarker for Youtube. I can read 145 reviews, but I can't actually write one.

When I try to log into twitter (X) I get a pop up saying I'm blocked due to suspicious log in activity, that I have tried to log in too many times. I had not tried to log in for days. I do not get this message and can log into X on other platforms, including chrome and Edge. I prefer to use Firefox. This started happening after I uploaded the newest Firefox upgrade on 3/3/26, I run windows 10.

hello i am facing an error when trying to access my firefox account , every time i enter my credentials , the system shows an error message and prevents me from logging in; i need to sync my boomarks and data; so any helb to get my account working again would be highly appreciated , thank you

The left side of every page and desktop is half hidden like everything slid off left overnight and I don't know how to fix this. I've deleted cache and cookies and that didn't work.

I had recently tried to download a .Zip file, which got corrupted. I tried twice again. Now every time I open the browser the three corrupted files pop up in the "downloads" window. It does not appear when opening a new tab, only when starting the browser. I have deleted the corrupted folders and don't want to retry downloading. I have tried both "clear all downloads" and "remove from history" in the downloads window, but the notification still shows up. Settings do not help.

How can I remove this pop-up? It blocks my toolbar and is a general nuisance.
