I have Firefox browser 97.0 (64-bit) installed. It remembers 30-40 passwords so I always log in with ease, but recently when I go to security tab and click to show saved logins, only 3 would show. All others are remembered and log in fine, but I cannot show them, which only happened recently, so it happened after a newer version was installed, I assume.

How can I show all remembered passwords? Thank you.

When I open a video on Twitch, YouTube,... and put the video on full screen, every time the video gets moved to the right. When I leave the full screen and comes back then the problem doesn't happen any more until I close and re-open Firefox.

I've tried it on my 2560 x 1440 144hz monitor and my 1920 x 1080 60hz, so it isn't due to the resolution of my screen. The problem isn't due to the dual monitor because my screen on the left has the same problem on the same side.

When I opened the Troubleshoot mode the problem was fixed. The extensions I've aren't causing this ( because I've the problem without ) and my theme too because I've none.

I already got this problem a while ago and don't remember how I fixed it. I've putted a screenshot of the top left of my screen.

for some reason, my ability to connect via Firefox (or my other browsers) to Yahoo has stopped. I have cleared out all temporary files and cookies with no resolution. I do not seem to have any difficulties reaching any other sites and I have not changed any settings for my internet network, McAfee security, etc. All my apps and MS operating systems are fully up to date. I know that Yahoo Mail is up and running as I can access on other devices (IPhone, IPad, Samsung phone, etc.)

many thanks for sharing any recommended solutions

Disqus comments do not update for me when using Firefox, but they do update when using other browsers. By update, I mean that when your are on a Disqus comment page, what you should see is a bar at the top stating how many new comments have been added. You should see new responses to comments as a link that you can click on to display the update. You should see "one other person is typing" before a new response is displayed. It is dynamic and real-time. With Firefox, all I see is a static comments page with no updates. I must refresh the page to see changes, and the changes are not highlighted.

To see this behavior, or lack thereof, you must be on an active, popular page that is actually being changed in real time. Below is a link to one at The Hill that is active now.

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/595707-biden-says-us-will-sanction-russian-banks-impose-export-controls#bottom-story-socials

If you check it later, the comment window may have become inactive. Then you will need to find another popular story by looking in the right margin of the story display.

The way to see this is to have Firefox and another browser open concurrently on your desktop task bar to the same window. I use Firefox and Edge on my desktop. I use Samsung Internet on my phone. Only Firefox fails to update. Tech support people in my orbit have confirmed this behavior but have no suggestions.

Kindly let me know if there is a fix.

Basically as per the title.

My organisation blocks detectportal.firefox.com at the device level using Windows Defender. Every time Firefox attempts to connect to detectportal.firefox.com I get an intrusive toast telling me about this. I have set network.captive-portal-service.enabled to false in the config, which has greatly reduced the number of connection attempts and therefore intrusive alerts, but it has not stopped them completely. Does anyone know why this is? Is it a bug?

I recently upgraded my laptop to Windows 11. Wanting to have the same tabs, history and saved logins as my desktop, I wanted to sync my desktop Firefox account with the new laptop. My desktop is Windows 10 and up to date version of Firefox. When I attempt to sign in to Firefox on the laptop, I get an "Incorrect password" message. I'm using the same email on both computers and have had the account and used Firefox for years. I get the same incorrect password notification when I try to create a recovery key. I checked the passwords page on my desktop browser and the one listed for the Firefox account matches my standalone file. Is there anyway around this? I don't want to lose my bookmarks and password information by resetting the password.

When using Firefox, my Windows (10) taskbar, which I have set to autohide, will not appear when I move my mouse cursor down to the bottom of the screen, like it is supposed to, and like it does with literally every, single other program I have installed on my laptop. This is NOT a Windows problem, and I see many, MANY others complaining of this issue; it's a problem with Firefox (and, also the Waterfox browser, which is heavily based on Firefox, and which I've currently switched to, because IT doesn't force us to use whatever hideous, mind-numbingly boring font that is that a recent Firefox update began forcing us to use). I can get the taskbar to appear if I press the Windows key, but I don't have to do that with any other program, and I shouldn't have to do it with Firefox/Waterfox.

And, no - I do NOT use Firefox/Waterfox in fullscreen mode.

Does anyone know why this is happening, or what can be done to correct this issue? I cannot find any setting anywhere in Firefox/Waterfox that might affect this. Deleting/renaming the xlustore.json file has zero effect, and I have no localstore.rdf file. No matter what I do, when using Firefox or Waterfox, my Windows taskbar will not appear when I move the mouse cursor down to where it should pop up (the taskbar functions perfectly normal when I use MS Edge).

Is Mozilla aware of this issue? Are they going to do anything about it? It's VERY annoying!

This is going to sound bad so forgive me. I bought this computer and no one has any right to install anything I don't want!!! This is the fourth time in 2 months that Firefox has updated against my settings. I hope and pray someone can tell me how to stop this once and for all . I am a decorated veteran disabled and this is causing my ptsd to come back and I don't want to hurt anyone I've seen more killing than I ever want.If firefox updates and causes me all this time lost never to be gotten back again I am going to loose it. So please someone help me and I am writing a very nice letter to the CEO of firefox as soon as I find the address. I would like to get his computer and put all the things I want on it 4 time in 2 months and put my foot where he sits. Can anyone honestly think that this is right ? If you do send me your computer and let me make changes to it. I'm running windows 10 home and am always up to date except I'm running FF version 94.0 . If you want to know why it's because some genius decided that the latest version 97 doesn't need rt ck copy & paste and man I would like to see that guy with a flat tire on a long highway on a hot summer day so I could drive by and give him the one finger wave. I'm not going to apologize because firefox raped my computer again. I hate people doing things they have no right to do and I fought for everyone to have the right to free speech and thats a joke anymore. I rarely get this angry and most people will tell you I help anyone in need but I've had all this violation of privacy and owners right violation I intend to put up with.Last of all I'm terrible at all this tech stuff I have dyslexia and it takes me a lot more to learn the simple things. I hate to even ask for help but whoever helps me will be a true hero I can assure you of that and if any of you have any dirt on the CEO send it to me and I'll see to it that he stops allowing this. Thanks for listening to me blow off some steam and you know I haven't had a drink in 21 years but I'm tempted as hell right now. Thanks again and if you can't help me thanks anyway. I don't have the money to pay the geek squad I've had cancer 3 times and 2 surgeries in the last 7 years and guess who got my life savings. Blessings to you and all you love and pray for Canada and keep one eye open causer they more than likely are going to pull that crap here and I promise you about 90% of the ones claiming to be a patriot will crawl up inthe fetal position and cry for mommy the first bullet whizzes by there head I've seen soldiers fully trained do it. Have a great day you guys
