I just upgraded to Firefox 77, x64, Windows 10 2004.

Now Firefox 77 breaks 99% of all websites. (See attached screenshot.) www.example.com www.google.com www.wikipedia.org etc

Somehow, support.mozilla.org works, UNTIL I try to log in.

I've tried incognito mode, safe mode, etc. When I change charset of the page, the text displays differently, but it's still a useless mishmash.

--- BUT --- when I open developer tools, click the HTML request and click the Response tab, the HTML renders correctly there.

After a recent update on my Linux/Ubuntu system, all select > options have a background color of black and the text enlarged to almost double the size (background and text size for the select boxes were not affected). IE, Chrome, and even the edition of Firefox on my wife's computer were not affected and are still showing the options with a proper white background with reduced type size. What gives? I am using input type time in html5 page with angularjs. Firefox is displaying time in hh:mm:ss:sss a format, but I want hh:mm a format. Chrome is showing it write.

When I press the play button in Firefox Quantum 59.0.2 (64-bit) playback is not instigated. Nothing happens. This has been occurring since I updated to Quantum. I cannot see that there are any add-ons / plugins I require to make the iFrame play.

Image 1 below shows the black iFrame screen that accompanies the malfunction in Firefox.

Image 2 below shows the IFrame screen as it appears in Google Chrome (in which the video playback is functioning normally).

I am a pfrivate Internet security researcher.

I have carefully isolated and verified a set of exactly 45,500 domain names which, from the look of them, are all quite likely to be in use as components of a very large scale Tech Support Scam farm. (This operation has apparently been ongoing for more than a year.)

I think that it would be a Good Thing if some appropriate person could arrange for these domains to all be flagged as fradulent when and if any Firefox user happens to come upon them while browsing.

Note that unless you visit the web sites associated with any of these domains while using a "correct" full (coded) URL, the web sites will simply redirect you to the Google home page. This, of course, is part of the the scammer's technique to avoid and evade detection and investigation of these scam domains.

In addition to this set of scam domains, I have several other and additional such sets for which it would be useful and helpful to have Firefox flag these domains as untrustworthy for the benefit of the entire end user community. Also, I come upon new sets like this on a regular basis. I am already providing this data to the Google Safe Browsing team, but would like to be able to routinely supply it to appropriate representatives of the Mozilla project aas well. Please let me know if this is something that the Mozilla Project would have an interest in.

I was having problems with google drive on Firefox. The website would load, and my files would be visible, but all items were greyed out, the new file button wouldn't work, and I couldn't drag and drop files. I tried logging out of my google account and logging back in, but when I tried to log back in on any google website, pressing the login button did nothing and hitting enter also did nothing. I tried clearing cache and cookies, restarting without extensions, and I tried both current Firefox and Nightly, and nothing worked.

Two sites: UK Teachers Pension (Capita) and Bank Of Ireland (other sites fine), ask for entry of particular characters from password/PIN (eg 3rd, 5th, 7th) into boxes on log-in page. Entry seems to go fine but on submission: 'incorrect...try again...2 tries remaining'. Using IE11 works fine.

Bank of Ireland was getting reports of this last year but the issue persists, the pension site was ok last year but not now.

Win 7-32 bit, with up to date FF does this as does win 7-64 bit machine with FF 52.6.0 ESR.

uMatrix is installed but disabling filtering makes no difference: FF fails with these sites IE11 works. Has FF deprecated something (Java?) that some sites still use?

Firefox 62.0.3 Debian linux Inability to work on websites due to login or other features not working. Must switch to Chrome to proceed. Not the majority of sites, but more and more common. Example today: Arkivmusic.com Auto logged in when tab opened, presumably through cookie. Able to browse and place order. CANNOT access my account info or wishlist info. Attempting either asks me to login, which I do, no error message, but no progress, stuck at login. The site still shows me logged in but I cannot proceed. This type of problem started to appear around ver. 60 as I recall.

Textboxes used to create and edit webpages in a CMS (content management system).

There are two types textboxes: simple textboxes, only text can be put in: those boxes, I have no problem. Complex text boxes: text and media, pictures, embedded video etc. can be put in: abnormal behaviour of cursor keys and mouse. Describing the abnormal behaviour:

- cursor up key: act as "cursor home" - cursor down key: jump to end of article - delete key: jumps right over characters without deleting them, but encountering a (white) space:

  spaces, tabs and linefeeds are deleted.

- selecting text with mouse: nothing happen when clicking left, sweeping over text: nothing is highlighted.

Not sure when this starts, could be several days or few weeks. (current date: February 16, 2019) Could be related with last Java update.

Other browsers: Chrome, explorer and Edge: no problem.

Pls advice!

After the last upgrade, Mozilla doesn't responds with my website's style espacially the font-family one that works using a predefined font (@font-face), I tried other browsers like Opera and Chrome and everything was good, but for Mozilla it still broken.

I use 'Website Wizard' to host my website and they recommend using Firefox, but the latest version of firefox causes their software not to be able to update my website correctly and they don't intend to fix this.

How can I load a previous version of firefox and stop automatic updates, so that I can update by website?

Cannot select 95% of the links on the webpage. Believe it is an issue with encryption and certificate but unable to get around it with any exceptions. Not able to select the "Contact Us" link on page to see if it is an issue on their end.

Whenever a mistake is made in typing a url, http://searchguide.windstream.net automatically appears to try and search an alternate result, but instead fills the URL box with pages of jibberish that takes minutes to remove or delete, and then apparently times out and flags its own unsolicited efforts:

414 Request-URI Too Large

Simply X-ing out the tab and starting over is an option, but still a nuisance.

Blocking this particular web site, http://searchguide.windstream.net, would probably resolve the issue without blocking other services provided by Windstream.

Here is an example: If "democracynow.com" is entered instead of "democracynow.org" a huge amount of garbage is thrown into the url window by this unsolicited "searchguide" website and the following error message is presented by this unauthorized search effort: "414 Request-URI Too Large"

Other websites redirect appropriately, like "http://www.vitaletherapeutics.com" redirects without to "http://www.vitaletherapeutics.org" without automatically invoking http://searchguide.windstream.net and without creating the error message: "414 Request-URI Too Large"

If this is a form of web censorship and denial of access, I want to know more about it and help other web sites to take action to help ensure 1st Amendment inspired net neutrality, and to curb censorship.

am using mozilla browser ver - 59.0.3. MY website is working on or below version no-54 properly. From 54, scrollbar is missing when i click on my web page outside of the text boxes /drop downs. Am using MVC based web application. Plz. look into it. Appreciate if you could help me in this. Thanks in advance.

I had an unresponsive firefox window with a dozen or more tabs. The last time this happened I closed it with the mouse via GUI but session restore didnt work. This time I decided to kill firefox via the terminal using the process ID. I was able to restore this session after restarting firefox but things such boomarking, etc didn't work. I restarted firefox again and bookmarks are working now but I can't log into my email using Microsoft outlook and other websites like reddit, stackoverflow etc. Not all websites are like this, some are working.

What I tried:

I tried deleting the cookies.sqlite and cookies.sqlite.bak in my firefox directory but it didn't work. I tried restarting firefox in safe mode without extensions but this also didn't work. Finally I tried logging into my email using firefox private mode but that also didnt work.

I'm trying to show separate title, description, keywords for each page of the site but Firefox, Seobook SeoXray is recognising separate page titles only, despite whether I load template through Firefox or Safari.
