Good Afternoon,
On several sites I work on with form fields, there is an option to save the existing text then return and edit the message. Now when the edit button is pressed, the fields are empty. I have workarounds to do everything in one shot using a text editor, but it's not convenient and something I do regularly.
It started with an update in the past year, but worked previously. This is on an Ubuntu system running Firefox 89 (64 bit).
The settings are the default, with no additional add-ons at the moment.
89 keeps crashing. In a comparison, I had no trouble with previous versions.

Since installing the latest versio of Firefox for Windows 10 I can't open some websites (including annoyingly my own video podcast) unless I restart my computer. Other websites load perfectly. Those that don't load show the correct tab with the oscillating dot but a connection with the server is never established. If I then restart the computer (leaving the frozen tab in place) the website immediately loads. This was never a problem with the old version of Firefox. The new version seems to freeze out the relevant server until a restart is done. Is there any way I can enter the URLs of the affected sites in Firefox to ensure they can be accessed at all times?

I am running on a Windows 7 64-bit desktop for work, and it's about 6 years old. Each morning I find myself unable to access any Google sites, but all other sites work fine.
For the last two weeks, every day I've had to do a full refresh of Firefox to default settings in order to access any Google sites. As an educator, we use Google Drive and Google Classroom all the time, so that is something I have to be able to access.
It's only Google sites that I can't go to, and it's only in Firefox. Once I refresh, everything is fine until the following day.
The only modification I make to Firefox is to enable Dark Mode. Otherwise, I don't use extensions or add-ons.
This has become a real issue. I'd like to continue using Firefox as my default browser so I need to find a solution. Any suggestions?

Cannot get any web pages from Netflix whether to log in, search their offerings, etc. Cannot even get their "help" page. Nothing. It always times out. I even created a new profile to start from scratch only to have the same error of the site timing out. I created a new profile and got the same result. I am running current up-to-date version of Window 10 (64-bit). Have Verizon FIOS and am connecting to their router via wi-fi. Anyone have an idea of how to resolve this? I cannot ask Netflix since I cannot connect to them. I can connect to Amazon Prime Video, BBC Iplayer but not Netflix. Would appreciate any guidance. Thanks

I am facing a strange issue where the Browser doesn't load the website for a minute and shows server error. However, this behavior is not specific to any website and the server error shows randomly. Sometimes the browser loads the website normally while other times it shows server error. Please check this screencast: https://jmp.sh/jEu4D9k to understand better. So, I initially tried to open calendly.com and it didn't load despite my multiple reload attempts. However, when I tried to reload it after a minute then it came to life.
I have been facing this issue for many months and I tried almost every solution I found on Mozilla community pages like Resetting Mozilla, Setting No Proxy, Turning Off IPv6, DNS Prefetching Changes, Turning On/Off hardware acceleration, Uninstalled Mozilla and Installed a fresh copy, Changed to Mozilla Developer Edition, etc. but no luck. Please note that the other browsers are working fine and don't have any issues.

on a website my college is using for part of its curriculum, I tried to use the ctrl + F "find in page" feature to find the "caret" character ("^") in my textbook, but when I hit the button to find the next match, it doesn't find anything but it also doesn't change to say "Phrase not found" like it did on this page before I started typing this post. I'm not sure what's wrong, but I think I might've just stumbled upon a bug similar several previous bugs like [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1299464|this] and [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1320495|this] by the way, there also seems to be a bug with the "insert link" button on this forum. I selected the words "this" above, but it keeps trying to set the word "this" as the target for the link with nothing in the "link text" field, and since there is no support article named "this", it will just use the default markup text for when the input is invalid ("http://example.com this" with brackets around it)... pretty sure that's a bug as well right?

Because of this terrible 89.0 update I've had to start using Chrome, and I hate Chrome. I cannot get any videos to play in Mozilla anymore. Youtube doesn't work, Tumblr videos don't work, Twitch videos don't work, even the Tenor gifs on Discord won't show.
Yes, I have cleared my entire history of cache and cookies for all of these websites, and it does not fix the problem.
Nothing will play. I hate this. Please, Mozilla, fix this so I can go back to using the browser I actually prefer.
If anyone else is experiencing this, or has found a solution, please let me know.

NY Times now won't load images (there's now a hold-to-see button; image & headlines vanish when you let go) on either side of the firewall & YouTube blacks out their link icons & the right column recommended / loaded-for-sequence play videos on the right column whether you're signed-in or not. Background images are now blacked out on some sites. None of this ever happened to me until I upgraded to FF 89.
Why is this? How do I stop it?
The array of Mac settings, FF settings, site settings is dizzying as we all know, which makes sorting out where the problem might lie a bear w/o help. Things worked great through 88. I allowed FF entree to simply install each new version. No prob. Now this. 89 is clearly a complete overhaul -- I've seen scores of comments from folks left aghast at these changes with no clear, comprehensive tutorial of 1) what exactly FF did & changed, 2) why FF did it & most importantly, 3) how to return which sections / settings to what you wanted & felt comfy with & which you're just stuck getting used to. Configuration ability is a huge aspect of computer living. That FF info alone would have lessened the heat I'm afraid you've been taking.
Anyway, back to mine... any clue as to how to reset whatever it is that needs resetting to drop this blockage? Many thanks for the assist!

I try to open Gmail, whether that be through my bookmark bar or actually searching it up, but it won't open. There's a brief loading icon on my mouse cursor but other than that nothing happens. No new tabs are opened, my current tab isn't changed, not even the url. It works in other browsers, why not Firefox?
After the latest automatic update no links are working - just opens a blank window. Tried everything I could think of, please give me some ideas. Thanks.
