Hi! Not much on details. I just want to move my existing profile to a server. Can I just copy name.default to the server, rename name.default on the client, and on the client create a link name.default to the server profile? Or, can I use ProfileManager to create a new profile on the server and copy the contents of the client profile to the new one?

A video at a Web site where I have often accessed videos now tells me the video is inaccessible because of "privacy and security settings." I don't think I have changed the settings since the last time I watched a video. In any case I have not been able to find the problem. I have tried the options for cookie settings without fixing the problem. What should the settings be?

I've tried quite a few times to download the latest version of Firefox. It will download and install but as soon as I close the window and later open it it asks to install the latest version and none of my passwords are saved (which they always have been with previous updates). I suspect it has something to do with Microsoft Word which I recently installed.

Hello,

I have been experiencing issues with the rendering of the navigation menu to the left of https://www.youtube.com/. This problem only occurs when I am signed into an account. I have not been able to replicate it when not signed into YouTube. Normally when I power on my computer and open YouTube, it renders just fine until I refresh the page or click a video then go back to the home page

So far I have tried to:

  • Refresh the page
  • Clear all cookies, cache and data
  • Disable all my extensions
  • Go into incognito and sign into either one of my accounts (problem occurred on both)
  • Relaunch Firefox and restart my computer
  • Check for updates on my computer and for Firefox (everything is up to date)
  • Try the beta of Firefox (uninstalled the beta once I found the same problem)

Unfortunately, non of these solutions have worked and I did test this in two different browsers (edge and chrome) where it successfully rendered it both times. I have included a screenshot that shows what I mean by not rendering.

Thank you for your time

Here is the URL: https://stevemorse.org/census/unified.html?year=1920

I fill in the form from pull-down menus:

    State: Illinois
    County: Chicago Cook
    City or Town: Chicago
    Street: Sawyer N.

I see under "1920 ED numbers corresponding to your location ": "...please stand by". I see above that "Cross or back street on same city block ", but there is no pull-down menu there.

What I see in Chrome is a long list of census Enumeration District hyperlinks and a pull-down menu - "Cross or back street on same city block".

How do I determine why this page is not working in Firefox. I am running FF 65.0 in Windows 7 Professional 32-bit, and I ALWAYS run in FF safe-mode.
