Hallo und guten Tag,

ich möchte gern mehrere websites als Startseite haben, wenn ich den Firefox browser öffne. Wie das geht wird auf der Firefox Seite sehr gut erklärt.

Zwar ist es mir gelungen, google als Startseite durch drag & drop auf das Haus Symbol zu ziehen. Jetzt würde ich habe gern weitere Registerkarten als Startseite festlegen.

Wenn ich (wie in der Erklärung) jedoch auf die Menüschaltfläche mit den drei Strichen klicke und danach auf "Startseite" klicke, ist das Fenster "Startseite und neue Fenster" leider inaktiv, so dass ich nicht weiterkomme. Wie kann ich dieses inaktive Fenster aktivieren. Wo liegt der Fehler.

Ich hoffe sehr, dass mir bei diesem Problem jemand helfen kann und würde mich über eine Antwort sehr freuen. Vielen Dank im Voraus!

I want to try the new Proton UI for Firefox. I followed all these steps: 1. Go to "about:config". 2. Search for "proton" and set the "browser.proton.enabled" from false to true. 3. Restart Firefox.

But that didn't work. Is the Proton UI no longer supported in Windows 7? Or some other problem...

Why was the direct access to the pocket list in the firefox removed? Previously I used to access the pocket list from the homepage itself. Now it disappeared. How to access pocket list directly?

I have the DuckDuckGo (DDG) shortcut icon on my Windows 10 taskbar. Firefox is my default browser. When I click on the DDG icon, DDG opens in Edge. What do I do to have DDG open in Firefox? I set DDG as the default search engine in Firefox but, for me, it's more straightforward to click on the DDG icon (and I want to get rid of Edge COMPLETELY).

I do like the ability to customize web pages using usercontent.css. I wonder whether this capability still exists in FF 89. I may become a crotchety old guy and stay on 88 if that feature has gone away.

Hello , after recent update, when u are trying to search for sth in search tab (home page - middle of screen), my text automatically goes to top side (where u can type websites). Is there any way to set it back as before? Just to type stuff i want find on search tab on mid and websites on top only? thx

How to get back single-line page spines? The Firefox 87.0 or 88.0 have single-line page spines. The firefox 89.0 have double-line and double-height page spines. How decrese spines height back?

When I start to write search field in firefox (win10) start page, firefox stoles focus and move it to address bar. And this dont work because searching in address bar is strictly forbidden in all my systems and stays so.

How to prevent this focus steal and forces firefox start page to keep focus in search field? Another browser?

In the current version (89.0) the shortcuts for the context menu are not working anymore (i.e. right click + L for "Copy Link"). I had to downgrade to 88.0.1 to make it work again. Is there any possibility to get those shortcuts back in the actual version?

Firefox already has features for blocking autoplay. I use all of those.

But, some websites still manage to autoplay! Is there a way to stop those devious websites? Examples include Yahoo Finance and ESPN.

I already have Autoplay set to "Block Audio and Video" in the Permissions section of Settings. I have also gone into about:config and set the following:

media.autoplay.allow-extension-background-pages false media.autoplay.block-event.enabled true media.autoplay.block-webaudio true media.autoplay.default 5

Is there anything else I can do?

Also, does anyone know *why* firefox is allowing these videos to play?

I do not want to allow it all the time again and again, instead allow it for once. I tried in settings but some file types just do not show up. Is there any setting and about:config tweak?

How do I pin the header at the top of the window? It all of a sudden went into hide mode, only showing up if I mouse over it, then it makes the screen content jump down. Very annoying. I must have hit a key code I don't know or they updated or something...

Can I move the hovertext out from under my large Windows mouse pointer so I can read the hidden first word of the text? Moving it up above the point instead of below the point would be great. Is there an about: that will do that?

I run Firefox on my Mac. Recently, the display of internet pages has changed by not showing background fill colors and showing bold borders of table cells. Images show what I see currently versus what displays on other devices (and on Firefox until recently). I cannot find a way to return the display to its previous settings. Thanks for any advice and assistance.
