I'm on version 148.0, dragging tabs stopped working, not on horizontal and not on vertical tabs I've tried to create a help ticket for it but apparently the help form just does nothing and doesn't send when I click submit Anyone else experience any of these issues? And how can you contact Mozilla even? Edit - fixed after windows restart

The setting works...in the way that if i quit Firefox, it'll not continue from the tabs and windows, but if i reboot my pc and open Firefox, I find myself the same place i stopped...even though i have that setting disabled. I found someone else with same issue on reddit and i did the same restarting the browser and refreshing and all....all to no effect.

i just want to go back to how my right click worked before i hate this container feature and would like to just reopen my closed tabs with my right click i dont want to see the container bs anymore.

I recently updated to Firefox 138.0.1 to use the new tab groups feature, which allows grouping and labeling tabs, as outlined in Mozilla’s support article (expected for all users by May 6, 2025). However, after updating, I don’t see the tab groups option when dragging tabs or right-clicking them. Has anyone else faced this issue? Could it be due to the progressive rollout, a conflicting extension, or a setting I need to enable? I’ve tried restarting Firefox and checking the tab bar, but no luck. Any community solutions or workarounds to enable tab groups would be greatly appreciated! Please share your experiences or fixes.

This code in mozilla.cfg used to overwrite new tab, but as of latest firefox 136.0b1 no longer works. Any way to fix this? There error in Browser Console.

We hate this useless so-called feature and you've completely failed to give us an OFF switch! It's been many months with countless complaints and still no OFF switch! We've had this conversation before, all of your ideas must come with an OFF switch, especially so for the dumb ones like tab pinning! You don't ever force this dumb crap on us, ever!

Where is the fkin OFF switch already!?!?!?

I recently decided to try vertical tabs in Firefox, and can't find a way to search these tabs as I could when they were horizonal, with the downward pointing arrowhead. If this is a feature, please let me know how to add it to my sidebar, and if not, it would be great if this feature could be developed. Thanks!

In my Firefox Developer install the new tab groups feature seems to now be working like one would expect, but my main Firefox install (Firefox desktop 138.0 (64-bit)) has some issues.

I can add tab groups, add tabs to groups, but left mouse clicking the colored tab header does NOT close the tab group, like it does in Developer browser. Mode of tab group clearly changes, as the tab is either dark or light colored after a mouse click.

I don't remember changing any other settings lately in about:config, except setting tabs.groups feature to true, and I don't have too many extensions installed, and I also tried disabling all the extensions, but that didn't help.

EVERY [removed] DAY firefox looses my tabs, historys, extensions/addons, prefferences and settings.... EVERY [removed] DAY!!! why am i wasting hours each day trying to recover basic [removed] ur piece of shit web browser clearly cant retain. even [removed] BING would be better at this point. ive tried everything at this point even down to tab managers but again without the webrowser holding extension info this too is [removed] useless. whats more annoying is it has clearly been an issue for over 8 years with a 10sec google search.... Since the last Firefox update, I've noticed an issue whenever I launch the browser. I have it set up so that I have multiple tabs open, and it's set up so that when Firefox starts up, it opens all of the previous tabs and starts me on the tab I was on when I closed the browser previously.

Now whenever I start Firefox, it opens to the last tab I was on, but said tab opens on my current homepage instead of the website that tab was on previously. I experimented by changing my homepage to "Youtube.com", picked a different open tab, closed Firefox and opened it again and sure enough, the tab was now on the Youtube page instead of what it had been previously.

Is this just a bug of the current Firefox version, or is there something in settings I can do to fix this?

Hello, I closed my browser, expecting it to save my current tabs as it usually does. When I reopened it, the tabs were gone. They were important for me, and some of them were pretty old so I can't find them in my history. I tried checking the "recently closed tabs" option, it didn't help. There was also no option to restore the previous session. Can you help me restore my lost tabs?

I'm running v138.0.1, but the ability to group tabs that was supposedly introduced in v137 is completely absent from my browser. I can neither drag tabs onto another to create a group, nor create groups by right clicking on a tab. What's up with that?

I would really like to move from brave, but really need tab groups before I do so.

Its marked as progressive rollout. What exactly does that mean in terms of when I can expect to get this feature?

This isn't a feature I ever needed or ever wanted. More than often, I accidentally group two or more tabs and have no idea how to ungroup them (yes, I know, there's some about:studies where I can remove stuff from grouped, BUT it's not a good mitigation). Firefox has been a great browser for decades. This new "feature" is rather disturbing than helpful. I understand some folks might need it, but please, at least provide a way to OPT OUT. Thank you!

I have vertical tabs enabled and I'm trying to access the tab overview menu to close duplicate tabs. Unfortunately I can't find this menu anymore. If I disable vertical tabs, I can see the icon in the top right. How do

I used to be able to drag a tab from one window to another. Has this facility been removed? The Move option lets me move the tab to Start or New window, but not an existing window as I would like.

Firefox has a feature where, if you select a tab and drag your cursor downwards while still pressing down on it, it will open that tab in a new window. Is there any way to disable this? I am frequently opening tabs in new windows when I'm just trying to view them and it drives me mad. I never use this feature intentionally- I am constantly using on accident due to quickly moving my cursor away from the tab bar to view the tab I just opened. Thank you.
