I have 2 PCs and one has all my current settings and the other does not. I recently had to re-install Windows 10 and when I installed Firefox again the settings won't sync. Bookmarks, toolbars, etc.

You need to enable me to sync the desktop to my mobile phone. I've had mozilla firefox on my Mac and android phone for years but now I am expected to work out how to create a back up and then delete all of my data and trust it will upload to the new browser on my desktop -- which before the update held the same data. Really unimpressed. Get it sorted.

please tell me how to solve the problem in the one sentence i was asked to provide. i have tried syncing from both devices and have disconnected and reconnected to se if that helps, nope. i have no problem syncing bookmarks from desktop to android but the other way around is not working

it can be useful if u create a system of syncing which actually works, why my passwords dont sync when i log in and also i had to put my exact same passwords 6 times before the stupid system recognized it was correct, the fuck is happening i had changed devices before and this never happened i dont know why now but im very upset

My internet connection is with Comcast, whom has told their customers that they will no longer be allowing email addresses with their company’s name. To this end I have been trying to move my old email accounts over from them, and I'm facing a lot of problems. However, since I was able to change the email in the Mozilla account today, I may be able to do it now. Also, please update my computer info to windows 11. Educated guesses below are correct.

I recently downloaded Firefox and setup a home profile on my personal computer. I want to use the same profile on my work computer. I set up sync but that says it's done and nothing changes. How do i sync over the settings, passwords, bookmarks, theme, etc.?

I have this setting setup in Chrome but I'm tired of using chrome. Yet this feature is really important to me. I'd like to make change to bookmarks on my personal computer and it should update my profile on my work computer too

Firefox on Windows is syncing with Firefox on iOS (iPhone) satisfactorily HOWEVER the Windows version seems to be randomly disconnecting from sync. This is inconvenient (my passwords and other info disappears!) and it forces me to disconnect my iPhone Firefox from sync before reconnecting it as I connect my Windows Firefox to sync. It did not do that in the past. How do I prevent that random and frequent disconnect from happening. I have 2FA enabled. Suggestions? Or is this a known recent problem?

I changed the password of my Firefox account recently, which logged me out of my Firefox iOS app. When I'm prompted to scan the QR code to re-establish the pairing, nothing happens. When I choose to use email instead, I get "unexpected error". This happens every time I try to re-pair. Please help me sign in to Firefox iOS.

I have been trying to clear out my bookmarks fro several days now and every single time they are restored. I have tried unsyncing my phone and computer and saving backups to try to force restore it to the cleaned up version but it always restores every single bookmark even to the original folder after I moved them around.

I am signed into firefox on the same account on 2 computers, the new bookmarks on one device aren;t showing up on the other. This is a new problem, syncing always solved it before

i have synced everything and 3 days ago when i restarted my pc and launched firefox everything was deleted and i had to login to my account and firefox saw it as a new pc today it hapenned again after pc restart and i have like 4 same pc with open cards and i cant back them back i have to launch everything by hand and i dont want it to happen again had no problem for 4 years of using

One time after renstall firefox i lost my password... . they didnt sync. Today i lost my recent tab. Today i opened firefox and a saw a lot of tat without information that they were like blank page. I thought Firefox had crashed and I closed it and opened it again. And I saw Firefox open without any tab. In the history section, I followed the last Windows and tabs, but it was a one site, not all my tabs. What are you doing in Firefox? Damage to your User Information?

I have many computers that I put Firefox on, and had no problem getting my bookmarks on them as long as I sign in to my account. However, I just had my desktop redone (that previously had Firefox) and now, after I have downloaded Firefox, I cant get my bookmarks when I attempt to do the syncing. Please help

Over an hour trying to sync one desktop to another desktop, your methods, your synchronization are like trying to escape from Alcatraz. And you know what happened to Alcatraz? IT CLOSED. So exasperated I could kick my dog. Nah, I LIKE my dog.

Dear All, I recently reinstalled Windows and updated to the latest Firefox. When I tried to sign in to sync/restore my bookmarks, Firefox could not recognize my password. I reset it and used the new password, but the bookmarks that appeared were outdated, and not all information synced to my current account.Could you please advise on the steps (or a quick solution) to fix this?Many thanks for your support in advance.Kind regards, Tareq Zeyad

So Firefox was failing me as it wouldn't play YouTube videos, so I tried rolling it back, which failed. So I reinstalled it and it's not saved any of my data, despite making an Old FF data folder. When I sign in with my account, nothing. I have it installed on my phone and when I try to sync it, it asks me to click on synchronise and save data, which isn't even on the menu!!!!!! How could you get such a basic thing wrong? Is that it now? I have to start right from the beginning and gradually go through every password and bookmark???

Please tell me there's a solution because this is really annoying.
