Hello! I synced my browsing data yesterday by signing in to firefox account and reset my OS(window 10) to improve my laptop's speed. When I am trying to get back my browsing data back after resetting and installing firefox by signing in to my firefox account and pressing the Sync Now button then its not giving me my browsing data back. Why is it so? Need Help. Thank You!!

I did an hardreset to my computer yesterday, today I logged in to my FireFox account and now all of my stuff (History, Passwords, Bookmarks) are from 2020. I don't have any backup, what do I do?

I have 3 computers (2 desktops, 1 laptop). I want to permanently delete approx 300 unused/unneeded passwords. I deleted them from computer #1, then logged out of Firefox. The new count was 346 passwords.

I went to the second computer, deleted approx the same number from computer #2. The new count was 324 passwords I returned to computer # 1 and logged back into Firefox.

Within a short time, computer #1 is at 759 passwords, and computer 2 is at 691 passwords.

How do I get the deletions to be permanent? It's the second pass at doing this and I'm FRUSTRATED.

Hello there.A couple of days ago my windows pc session creashed.After rebooting i attempted to log on but everything was different.All my bookmarks were disappeared and all my saved pages were not appearing.There was a yellow triangle appearing on the right side of the program mentioning the i was disconnected from my account..I attempted to use my account i used the correct credentials but it Never send me the pin code in order to reauthorize and re access my account. My ios mozilla sessions is operating fine so far and this is the one posting right now! Im looking forward for your reply in order to gain access again on my pc.Thank you!

I had to reinstall windows and it wipe Firefox.i didn't know my password so I resetted it. Problem is it wiped all my data. Didn't know changing passwords for forefox would so this. Anyway I can get them back?

I have installed and enabled sync under the same Mozilla account on my desktop and laptop. The only thing that seems NOT to sync between them is my add-ons. There was no sync error log when I checked. I have already tried logging out and logging back into my Mozilla account on both computers, turning off my antivirus real-time protection, double-checking my sync settings, and restarting both my computers.

This issue is beyond frustrating. Does anybody have any additional suggestions to save my sanity by correcting this issue? I would appreciate any assistance that is provided! Thank you!

I have enabled Firefox Sync between my laptop and my Android. When I go to the manage history tab on my laptop, the history of both my laptop and phone is shown but without the device the tab was viewed on. Is there a way to filter history based on which device I viewed on?

Yesterday on my linux computer I noticed that my container setup ise back to the default setting. Now I'm using my windows laptop, and it is als back to the defaults. I'm afraid the same thing will happen when I start using my windows desktop. Should I poll the network cable and delete my firefox sync data, so I can hopefully save my containers setup? Or is this not going to help, and I'm fucked anyway :)

I have Mac, Windows, and Linux boxes. All show connected to Firefox Sync, however, bookmarks etc are only actually in sync between Windows and Linux. I've tried logging out on all devices, resetting passwords, reinstalling FF on the Mac. Can't seem to get it to work.

This seems to be caused by Firefox. I don't have this problem with Edge, Chrome or Opera

I made sure everything was synced and my account logged in prior to reinstalling windows. I log into the same account and nothing is there. Help! How can I recover the bookmarks and history that are clearly selected in my profile?

Hey, i have been in some trouble because the last device i had with my firefox account logged in was my phone, and I recently broke it.

So now Im trying to log in with my google account but when i want to restore my session(take back my data like bookmarks and passwords, all the "sync" thing you know) into my computer he says that I need to enter a "master password" refering to that one password i created randomly in 2021, or else, use a key something that i couldve created(I didnt, cause i didnt know the existence of it) to re-enter my session without erasing all my data, because yes, if i forgot the password it says that if i restore it, the data will be erased And with my only logged in device now broken i cant regain access to my data, i have a lot of my passwords of pretty much all my gaming accounts there(and more), and if u wonder how did i got to enter the account without having the possibility of activating the "sync" thing, i just entered with my google account as I do always, but just because i dont remember my very old now password, i cant get back my passwords.

So thats my problem, i hope that my english was understandable, and if u can respond in spanish it would be even more helpful for me but if not, its fine.

Using OSX 12.7.5 on two laptops and a Mac Pro. Selling one of the laptops. Removed personal data for Firefox by 'trashing' the Firefox folder in Libaray/Application support. Then disscovered that the 'Privacy/Security' folder in both the laptop and Mac Pro were now empty. Nothing else affected. Went into TimeMachine and restored the entire Firefox folder from a recent backup. Privacy/Security folder not restored. Anyone have any ideas?
