Since Firefox is not compatible with iPhones, my Bookmarks are not updated when I sync my phone. I was told by Firefox Support to download Firefox Sync on my computer and the Firefox Home App on my iPhone to solve the problem. I did that (I think), but Firefox Sync did not show up on my desktop on in "programs" after restarting the computer. What do I need to do to get this process to work properly? Did I miss something?

This morning, thankfully temporarily, all of my Firefox bookmarks were gone. And, synch wasn't there anymore either. I had some virus that Norton blew away this morning. I had to reboot and this happened. I blame Norton. Anyway, I reinstalled Synch and tried to get to the server to get my stuff. It asked for my password, which was fine. But, then, it asked for some other code, which no way I can remember.

Thankfully, after re-booting, my bookmarks are back. But, I still need that silly code! Thanks.

Down loaded F FOX 12-7-2010. Today 12-8-2010 I was surfing and also starting to create various bookmarks for future use. I clicked on --something --in the bookmark field and lost all of the headings in the toolbar. ie titles as bookmark---tools---view--and so forth. I cannot restore the STANDARD TOP area of F FOX toolbar What do I do to restore the top headings of the toolbar? Thanks for your help

i forgot my password to my firefox sync and i did the reset telling it was going to send me a link to my email to change it, but i get no link sent to my email. help

Please Help me! My computer was infected by a virus, and I format my hard drive and reinstall the OS. Now I installed Firefox 4 beta 10 but don't have access to my sync account because i don't the "Sync Key" and don't use Firefox in other devices... please please help me to access to my account I need recover my bookmarks and configuration, Thanks.

When I try to login to my sync account, under the Email address box and the password box is the notation "No saved Sync Key to use" therefor I cannot log in and I have found no way to add a sync key. I tried re-registering, but it won't let me because my email address is already being used. I am about to decide this service is not worth the hassle...

I would like to use sync between 3 computers on a wireless lan. Computer 1 = desktop, 2 = laptop, 3 = server. I want to keep the sync data on local server instead of online. I am using win xp pro on all computers, Firefox 4.0 Is it possible to set up this way?

I wanted to change my sync account to use my new e-mail address and I get the message that my e-mail address is invalid and already in use.

How can I proceed?

tested on Windows XP SP3. After updating to Beta 11 Sync stopped working. Tried to reset account and now the Sync does nothing when I try and either Create a new account or Connect to existing account

Have a new iphone4. Use Firefox5 on my home laptop. got Firefox Home from the Apple app store, installed it, and got the instructions that were sent to my laptop. Downloaded sync, opened the file and Downloaded Sync, opened it and Firefox starts at http://www.sync.com/. List does not include iphone. So what do I now do now? (note: no questions to start an new account appeared).

The following error message came when I tried to open Firefox and install Firefox Home.

"can't create mcafee plug-in object: TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined"

I have to setup Sync everytime I open Firefox. I'm using sync on 3 different computers and I have to re-set it up on all 3 of them everytime I open Firefox. How can I make it so that once it is setup I don't have to do it again?

I'm running a fresh install of Firefox - Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD amd64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20110125 Firefox/3.6.13.

I've installed Firefox Sync 1.6.2 from the add-ons site.

I was having trouble with my existing account, so now I'm trying with a fresh account - it created the account successfully, but I've never been able to get a successful connection/sync. Here's the error log I get:
