So, I cannot get sound through firefox and you want me to search through numerous panels that do nothing to get a result., You want me to check connections and equipment that work in other apps which I have already gone through steps to prove.

You also have zero ability to actually contact a support rep. You prefer I go on the roundabout of obfuscation until I really want to find someone in mozilla management and insert the mozilla organisation on a long pole, five km should about do it.

We're finding we can no longer watch FUBO TV on Firefox. Works fine in Edge. Anyone have any suggestions? We've cleared cache/history, restarted laptop, etc. This occurs both on recorded programs and live tv. We still seem to be able to get the commercials, although we tried watching on two different devices and the commercials were very different. Is it possible for Firefox to have been hacked but not Edge on the same device? Doesn't sound plausible to me, but I'm not sure. This has happened since the last update to Firefox. We have Windows 10 64 bit. Firefox 134.0.2 or whatever the latest version is. We're stumped why it works on one browser but not the other. Has to be a Firefox issue.

I am using Firefox 136 browser and browsing my browser sound suddenly has disappeared. The PC sound is just fine with other applications, even with Opera browser I tested. Help is needed.

The video from certain sites(not one, but multiple ones) plays as gibberish. Attached a sample from amazon prime. Tried the following

• System restart
• Bios/Firmware update
• Display driver update
• Windows refresh

The issue seems very much localized to Firefox and not seen in any other browsers.

Can't seem to stream Netflix. Firefox is up to date. New Widevinecdm update today 4/2/2025. Apparently since that update (today) I can't stream. I get Netflix error code F7702-1003. Searched/read several FF articles/forum Qs - no help. did a "refresh FF" - no help. don't want to install Chrome (Google knows too much about me already). Netflix worked fine last night. Tried unchecking "play DRM controlled content" - FF(Netflix site) asked to enable DRM - clicked ok - reinstalled. no help. Hard reboot - no help. Still running a Win7 64-bit desktop OS - works fine.

FireFox updated to 136.0 (64bit), running on Winders11. Youtube does not play video. No error messages. no audio no video no buttons to click on to start. I really need to get this running. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks Stan W8SRD

Please some help around the following issue, since a few days, Firefox will not play mp4 files directly in the browser. What it does when clicking to open an mp4 from the file server, it saves the file first and then opens a window to play it. Or it directly provides the save dialog window instead of playing it in the browser window directly.

Any ideas, appreciated. I have a lot of files to assess for my students, and this browser behavior makes it very tedious.

I cannot seem to get playback with Firefox browser for either Tubi TV or Pluto TV anymore. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, have tried to just refresh data yet still no playback.

I am a new firefox user and would like to use it 100%, but have been running into a few bugs. This one I have been unable to find this issue myself, so thought I would ask here. I use Qobuz to stream hi-res music up to 24bit/ 192kHz. Some albums do not have sound at that resolution. The file will load and timer shows the song is playing, but there is no audio. I can change the setting to stream at 16bit/44.1kHz and then I get audio. Again, this does not occur with all albums, some will stream at hi-res and some will not. An interesting note: the same file with no audio at hi-res on firefox will have audio at same resolution setting on chrome. The only thing I can think of is chrome is reducing resolution in the background, or maybe a DRM issue? I do have "Play DRM-controlled content" checked in firefox settings.

p.s. I am aware that streaming music through a browser is not necessarily the best way to listen to hi-res music, and my ears may, or may not hear the difference between the 16bit and 24bit. However, the issue is the functionality, or lack of.

I have to unmute my mozilla in the volume mixer at least 7 times now in a span of 4 hours. Already tried the permission thing with autoplay and put it on allow audio and video and it's still randomly muting itself when things aren't even auto playing.

While typing this thing it muted itself again and nothing was playing. I'm so close to uninstalling this browser and going full on opera, or just eat up the cost and just buy 2 more sticks of ram and go google chrome.

Hello mozilla support team I am Gina I have this problem for about two or three weeks now.I try to watch videos on mozzila firefox and I get gliches and sound dose'nt work.I don't have those problems on vivaldi at least at this moment.
