I have used Firefox for the last 10+ years. Last week Firefox automatically updated itself. Thereafter, all tabs crash. I can not open a blank, new tab. It crashes too.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the same thing happens. All tabs crash.

It will be unfortunate if I can't fix this issue and have to give up Firefox and switch to a different browser. But right now, I'm not seeing any alternative.

I'm on a Mac (10.14.6) with Firefox version 115.20.0esr. I can't go any higher on the Mac OS.

I'm having trouble printing invoices. When it prints it changes any number amount on the invoice to a bunch of periods or commas (see screen shot). Most words print, but some words are also replaced by periods or commas.

Invoices are about the only thing I ever need to print out of Firefox, but when I do print other pages as a test, they seem to print everything just fine.

If I make a pdf instead of actually printing, it does the same thing. This is difficult because I need these for my expense report for work.

I'm attaching a screen shot. I added the black boxes to cover personal information.

why does firefox perform badly with paramount streaming? it doesn't happen netflix or amazon or apple etc This does not happen with other browsers such as chrome

Firefox needs to be restarted each day, and still has stalling, repeating and stopping during any paramount stream

Will this ever be fixed?

I keeep a file on my system which is essentially an annotated list of links to useful references. Since upgrading to Firefox 135.0, I can no longer open links to these references if they are local documents (links to websites work fine). Attempting to open a local document (usually an .odt file) brings up a window describing the file and offering tp save it, or open it with the system handler. Opening with the system handler produces an error message "unknown error" and suggests trying saving to disk first. Clearly Firefox does not know how to deal with .odt files, and I can find no way of telling it.

If I get to Settings - General - Files and Appications and scroll down the Applications window to ODT document, I find it set to "Always Ask". I can change this to "Save File", "Use System Handler (default) or "Other". "Save File" is not what I am trying to do, and the other two options produce the same result as "Always Ask". There seems to be no way of telling Firefox to open .odt files with Writer (or anything else for that matter.) The support page (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-firefox-behavior-when-open-file) suggests that I should have a further option "Use<application name>". But it just does not appear. Anyone any ideas?

Simply put, cannot connect to Sync from Firefox (Windows). I can sign in just fine into the Mozilla account (that's how I'm writing the question, after all). However, when I try to sign into Sync it asks for a password, then for an authorization code and then fails with "Bad Request: Something went wrong. Please close this tab and try again."

Tried it multiple times, even in Troubleshoot Mode, got the latest Firefox and all, but this seems like a communication issue, not a browser issue.

I've been a Firefox user for at least 10 years. I recently installed Firefox on a new desktop PC, and the Firefox Privacy Notice tab popped up. "No worries," I thought, and read it and made my cookies choice. I didn't find anything about a separate "submit" or "Close" gadget, so I simply closed the tab. Now, every time I leave the Home page or open a new tab, the Firefox Privacy Notice keeps popping up. Please advise me how to close it for good.

I use a website in the UK alljigsawpuzzles.com The page loads fine and freezes with the firefox browser. Other browsers work fine. I have been unable to determine if a setting is the problem. I use https only. When I removed this setting, it allowed me to scroll for a few seconds and then froze again. Do you know what the problem is? It's true they recently upgraded their website. Firefox is preventing me from signing in to an https Anthem Blue Cross login website and suggests that my only way to do it is to contact Anthem and ask them to update/modify the certificate for the site. This is not practical. I have used to same site before either by bookmark or by finding it on google. What can I do to override/bypass Firefox's block.

Hi, while on 5G with my iPhone I cannot connect to Firefox («Internet connection appears to be offline») while I connect without any problem on Wi-Fi. However when I connect my iPad with iPhone 5G hotspot I have no problem .

I keep getting the error message: "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window." I have tried to close it using Task Manager as recommended in the help article, with no success. I have uninstalled it and even run the refresh instead of removing it, but still nothing. This is the second computer I am receiving this error message on, so any suggestions? FT

Since the latest Sequoia 15.3.1 update and the latest Firefox update, when I click on a link in a page, I often get a message that it "didn't redirect properly" and I have to click on the address bar to make the page finally appear.

I've been a Firefox user since the beginning, but every few years I leave the browser because it becomes unusable. I am at one of those inflection points now.

During the past few weeks, I've run into web pages that simply will not work in Firefox. I have not tracked all of the URLs, but can tell you they include navigation of Tax1099 (a website used to send tax documents) and AT&T, where I could not access their Premier shopping page. These pages load easily in Chrome and Edge.

I simply do not have time to troubleshoot this every day, every time I need something in timely fashion. It is a huge time suck. Firefox has -- again -- become an impediment to my work flow and it seems time to leave it, again.

I;m not asking for help; this is simply a fact. And Mozilla should consider it a reason why Firefox has lost popularity. Most people will simply move on, and not do any troubleshooting, take the time to search for solution or write to this board. For about 1 month now whenever I perform a google search using the address bar I get no response. I have to close and reopen FF afew times untill it performs the search.

This occurs in my synced account in any of my Wiondows devices. Troubleshoot mode makes no difference.
