I wrote yesterday but my post doesn't appear today. Today I got the message about bookmarks and history not functioning and eventually found something in Firefox that said it was probably due to "some security software." I have now gone into Windows settings and my security updates are done, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now. This is an extremely annoying and disruptive issue. I see that several other people are experiencing it, so it's interesting that the note next to their posts state that no one else is having the same problem. Can someone please help us all to get our bookmarks and history back?

Hello. I'd wriitten a few days ago about being blocked from firemountaingems.com I got help from Issis B. and was able to browse the site by turning off the VPN temporarily. Today, I am again blocked even with the temporary turn off of the VPN.

Is there a way you can show me easily step by step, how to exclude certain sites from the VPN permanently.

Sinne yesterday night my Firefox don't work anymore. The online thing i can get is this : bp-fa8b47ab-4fb5-42de-ae52-3a3620250817 I think this the Failurecode. I tried everything, like clean the Cash, set the Proxy to non use, the clean up Option everything. I deinstall it and install it new, but the Problems still exist. The only Change is the Failurecode. The new one is : 6f317949-b419-45cc-a9ea-27e0052ee481 Any other Browser also didn't work, like Edge or Opera. The start but doesn't load any Seite. Like many, I have Windows 10 and cannot upgrade to Windows 11 without purchasing a new computer. I don't want the upgrade as my desktop computing needs are simple -- checking email and occasional online research. I am looking at 0patch as a solution to Microsoft discontinuing support for Windows 10 and want to know if Firefox will operate compatibly with 0patch providing security patches instead of Microsoft.

I'm not a technical person, so please keep replies simple. At 80 it's tough to keep up with all the changes! Thanks.

My bookmarks, history and passwords have disappeared. I looked at the articles, refreshed firefox, have restarted firefox and my computer multiple times but cannot retrieve them.

out of nowhere my firefox bookmarks no longer appear. I am getting the following msg

In an attempt to fix this problem, I have done the following:

• closed the browser and re-opened it
• rebooted my computer
• reinstalled my security software
• uninstalled firefox
• Reinstalled firefox

None of these steps have fixed the problem??????

When I try and connect to a site with firefox I get a message saying "Check that Firefox hass permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall) How can I get check to see if I am behind the firewall and if so how can I get out to connect to that specific site.

When I open a new tab and enter any website name I cannot connect to any site and this has only just started The message I get reads cannot connect to server at gb.search.yahoo.com
