Tell me how to reset a new password, I simply forgot my old one. I have been using Mozilla Foxfire for many, many years and now it's a problem because a password prompt keeps on reusing my password that is incorrect.
On several occasions, it asks me for my Firefox passport, which I don't remember. Please, how can I enter or change to a new passport?
Please tell me how to get it back.

Tried to sign in two days ago and my formerly used password was rejected. Entered new password. Today, two days later the new password was rejected! What is the problem? How to fix it? I am really weary of not being able to contact a technical support person! If someone responds to this I don't know if I will be able to respond.

After changing from Firefox to FF ESR I had to reset my password which I did not remember.
FF told me to enter my emailadress, that I would get a mail with a number to enter to get to reset my password AND that I had to enter the number within 10 minutes.
Since Friday I think I tried that 10 times. Every time the mail arrives late and the number is already invalid when I enter it.
e.g. I clicked to reset password at 18:10 but got the mail with the number only at 18:25...

I use the Firefox "password keeper". Today, I changed the password on a website. The Firefox app auto filled the new password. Everything was fine. But when I went back to the password keeper, there was a double entry for the website for which the password was changed. I inadvertently deleted the website (and password) that I should have kept.
Is there anyway to retrieve and restore that password?
