the last update has erased all my bookmarks and history and I cannot restore anything to firefox.

With this latest update - which I hate by the way - I LOST EVERYTHING THAT I HAD SAVED ON FIREFOX. Bookmarks, passwords, EVERYTHING is missing.
I'm beyond angry. Recreating things will take HOURS that I don't have.
If there is someway to recover what I had you can begin to get back in my good graces.

Aloha — An update to Firefox must have occurred, and I am unable to access my open tabs and bookmarks. I have had a Firefox account for 15 years at least and a lot of information was in my folders and bookmarks. Please let me know how the information can be recovered. I tried to follow several of the instructions provided and was not able to fix the issue. I have a recovery code/Mozilla key, but I am not sure where or how to use it.
I do all my work and personal stuff on Firefox so I need timely assistance to fix the problem.

I just made your suggested "reorganisation" of the Firefox Browser with the result that all my hard collation of all my bookmarks, website and passwords are presently gone!!! I can only hope that you have a possibility to recover my datas.
