I need to post information into a discussion thread for class. I copied the information from Pages and I tried to paste the information in the compose section of the discussion board. Every time I try this an error message pops up on my screen... Copy, Cut, Paste is disabled in your Mozilla browser. You can use keyboard shortcuts instead or visit http://www.mozilla.org/editor/midasdemo/securityprefs.html for more information on how to grant access to the clipboard. However, when I proceed to this website there isn't anything that's helpful to me. Help!!!!

The " TOP" part of my home page ( yahoo) is covered up with an advertisement of ( I pod) and I want it gone, how it got there I do not know. I was logging on and my screen was upside down and there was 4 choices ( with dots) the only one I remember was ( LAPTOP) with a dot beside it and again there were 4 choices

I have Firefox 17.0 , NORTON security and running XP service pack 3. I just started having the problem. When I didn't have the issue when using IE8 I upgraded to Firefox 17, but that HUGE annoying IPOD AD was still there. It doesn't appear to a problem with Yahoo, at least to me.

I can work around this by asking Foxfire to open the News Headlines, but goodness knows where else this bug is going. I'd really appreciate help direct from a Foxfire Tech.

I understand this is a browser hijacker....I just want it GONE...

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

I have Norton confidential, antivirus and firewall on my Mac running 10.6.8. when I open Firefox, Norton tells me I cannot be protected while surfing the web; that I need 1.5 version.

However, the Firefox version installed on my computert says I have 1.9 yahoo users edition! I want to continue to use Firefox if at all possible (hate SAFARI) Thank you D Clippinger

I have a certificate in the .crt format which needs to be in the "Your Certificates" tab.

Firefox only allows certificates in the .p12 and .pfx formats there.

How do I import this certificate into the "Your certificates" tab?

I tried to see if I can convert .crt into .p12 but no luck. (the same certificate I was able to convert to .p7b and .spc format)

Please help!

P.S. The reason I am doing this is because my hard drive crashed and I have the back up copy of the certificate and now need to install it. Before that the webservice who issued the certificate installed it from within the asked to safe the back up copy, which I did.

Is there a way to lock my bookmarks and history while sharing my computer, in order to prevent the user from accessing the sites that are saved?

I'm not so much concerned about someone seeing what the sites are as much as I am about them being able to access those sites. (I.e., sites with log in creds saved).

I'm running Firefox 17.0.1.

I am so sorry if my english is so bad. I have opened websites that have given a notice as an unsave website. I have downloaded several file from those websites. A few moment late, I realised that I have done a big mistake and I overwhelmed with fear about my computer security. How can I reactivate the feature to block an unsave website? As a additional information, after I realised the "stupid things" that I had done before, I tried to reenter the websites but the notice did not appear.

I have just switched my browser from internet explorer to firefox. I want to be able to see the drop down history on the address bar and it now will only show 12 selections regardless of how many I type in. I want it to show every address that is typed in. How do I set it to do that? Thank you

i have a big (i pod) advertisement on my yahoo home page and I went to my setting to be sure that my "pop up is checked, I did not have this problem until I was logging on and my screen went upside down. HOWEVER< this problem DOES NOT OCCUR on explore ONLY ON Fire Fox ... I have windows XP.. I have noticed there are complains on this matter. I think I'm a victim of " CLICKING TAG.. some people are now saying I CAN NOT get it off

As I understand it to prevent a page from being cached when using the https protocol you need to include the following directives in the header

<meta http-equiv="Cache-control" content="no-cache"> <meta http-equiv="Cache-control" content="no-store"> <meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache"> <meta http-equiv="Expires" content="0">

I did a test, creating two html files, one called uncached.html with these directives and another called cached.html without them.

I called both of them using https protocol and both appeared when I view the cache by typing in the URL about:cache.

I then exited Firefox, started it again and typed in about:cache and both urls were still there.

By way of comparison I tried it under IE. cached.html was cached, uncached.html was not.

In Chrome neither was cached. (when called using http instead of https both were cached.)

I work on a password management system. During testing in the firefox environment I found that on the "New Tab" page it shows screen shots and links to recently visited pages. The problem is it is taking screenshots when I reveal a password in my password management solution.

So in short, when I open firefox you see a page full of screenshots of my passwords.

I want to advice on how I can solve this from the website perspective. I want to stop firefox from taking screenshots of a particular page without configuring the browser.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am trying to enter a new certificate into Authorities. I wanted to automate the entry of this new certificate. Can it be scripted? Is there a central database for certificates in the browser? Is there a better way to update the browser than updating each profile?
