I formatted my computer 30th April and started all over to get my Mozilla working and have all of my bookmarks and passwords. As always I tried to log into Sync and have my info back but, as soon as I entered both email/pass and recover key none of my 'personal bookmarks' and /or passwords were visible. I tried to get a new recovery key in case it was wrong and now I finally synced it but I only have 2-3 passwords that I saved till today. So I would like you to somehow restore my account 3-4 days ago were I actually hadn't formatted and had all of my passwords(MOST important actually). Thank you for your time .

Every time I log onto Firefox I get the following message:

"Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behaviour when accessing security features."

I would like to fix whatever is causing this error message to appear, but I haven't found my, "application's profile directory" so that I can check for "read/write restrictions". My hard drive is 640GB with 554GB free space remaining.

I am running Windows 7 - 64 and am using Avast Internet Security 2013.

I was going to follow the manual troubleshooting as recommended, but I can't get online using Firefox. It starts to open but then stops with a "New Tab" that looks like it is trying to load (arrow going around in circle) but never gets past that point. I am using Google to connect with you for this help session.

How can the Firefox built in certificates be verified?

I have tried firefox 17 and firefox 22 and both are incorrectly reporting that a website https://www.faxzero.com (start by going to www.faxzero.com and filling out the information it then procedes to the https://www.faxzero.com) "cant be trusted" This is incorrect as I tested the site using other browsers on the same computer and they worked. I have also used web sites like https://www.ssllabs.com/ to verify the sites https validity.

I have concluded that firefox when downloaded and installed (both version 22 and 17) if completely removed is some how using a incorrect certificate information

How can I verify the built in certificate in firefox?

When I turned OFF RC4 and 3DES Firefox can't connect to some SSL-server. But Internet Explorer and Opera with the same (absence of RC4 and 3DES and to the same server) can do it.

Why? I think this is the BAD implementation of SSL/TLS or a BUG!

And why in Firefox there are no cipher suits with SHA-256? I see in ServerHello a cipher suite(choosen by server): TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256 (0x003d) But this cipher suite absent in Firefox!

Firefox cipher suits:

TLS_EMPTY_RENEGOTIATION_INFO_SCSV (0x00ff) TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0xc00a) TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0xc014) TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_CAMELLIA_256_CBC_SHA (0x0088) TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_CAMELLIA_256_CBC_SHA (0x0087) TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0x0039) TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0x0038) TLS_ECDH_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0xc00f) TLS_ECDH_ECDSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0xc005) TLS_RSA_WITH_CAMELLIA_256_CBC_SHA (0x0084) TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0x0035) TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA (0xc009) TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA (0xc013) TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_CAMELLIA_128_CBC_SHA (0x0045) TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_CAMELLIA_128_CBC_SHA (0x0044) TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA (0x0033) TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA (0x0032) TLS_ECDH_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA (0xc00e) TLS_ECDH_ECDSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA (0xc004) TLS_RSA_WITH_CAMELLIA_128_CBC_SHA (0x0041) TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA (0x002f)

Opera cipher suits:

TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256 (0x003d) TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256 (0x006b) TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256 (0x006a) TLS_DH_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256 (0x0069) TLS_DH_DSS_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256 (0x0068) TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0x0039) TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0x0038) TLS_DH_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0x0037) TLS_DH_DSS_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0x0036) TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0x0035)

IE cipher suits:

TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256 (0x003d) TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0x0035) TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0xc014) TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA384 (0xc028) TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256 (0x006a) TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA (0x0038)
