My website has an SSL certificate installed and this is detectable in Firefox. However, looking at the page info, it states that the site is not encrypted.

On other browsers like IE and Chrome, the site is reported to be using encryption. I also looked at the actual network packets which seem to be encrypted, even when using FireFox. I was wondering if this is a FireFox bug or am I missing something here?

Hi dear manager, I know a cyber security team related to military in my country are working on Security holes very badly. In these days there are many trojans and viruses out there. I am using FF latest update all the time & MalwareBytes & Eset both of them licensed latest versions. Just tell me can hackers steal my passwords & cookies and logged in sessions by opening a single web site in these days? Can they install an exe file in my pc through FF in silent mode without my permission? Imagine a news web site has some malicious codes. Can they steal data through this web site by just opening it?

Not able to interact with major sites like Verizon and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Today, I was not able to look at my Verizon account. The browser kept switching to a Facebook container even when I selected it to override. At times, it blocks logins, or doesn't allow a login button to activate, so I have to use Chrome. I'm getting to the point where after years of loving this browser, I'm seriously considering using Chrome. What is going on, Firefox??????

Hi,

I set up the Janus website on my LAN and tried to access it using firefox on Raspberry Pi desktop.

However, firefox complained that "connection not secure" even if I allowed all the permissions including the camera and microphone.

Of course, I can use the newest firefox to access the same Janus website package on localhost or AWS(Of course I have a domain name and HTTPS in AWS configuration).

I know that firefox takes care of the security very well, yet in my case, I just want to test the website on my own LAN, I want to understand how to configure firefox in Raspberry Pi to access Janus running on my LAN.

Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4B, 4G memory OS: Ubuntu 21.04 Firefox: 96.0

I guess it is nothing related to Janus but something wrong with my configuration, thank you in advance.

Hi!

I'm using Firefox 103.0 on an enterprise managed Windows 10 PC. I installed Firefox myself - it wasn't pushed by any enterprise software management. Initially, saving, generating, and suggesting logins/passwords was working fine. But things have changed without my input, and now I get the following behaviour:

1. Firefox no longer asks to save passwords for websites I log into. I have to manually add login/password entries via Settings. 2. Firefox no longer suggests logins/passwords for websites that are already saved. 3. Firefox no longer offers to generate strong passwords for new websites. 4. I can sometimes right-click on a login or password field and choose "Used saved login".

See the attached image of the Logins and Passwords settings section.

Is this the result of some enterprise policies that have been pushed to my PC? Is it a hidden setting somewhere within Firefox that I can change? Is it a Windows policy that Firefox is obeying? Something else?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, -Paul

I am trying to allow push notifications only on certain sites using group policy. In other browsers I can use wildcards to include all subdomains, for example, adding [*.]azurewebsites.net to the allow list would also include https://webpushdemo.azurewebsites.net.

My company has hundreds of intranet sites that could possibly be using push notifications, but I have no way of knowing which ones. I need to be able to whitelist them all without having to specify the exact URL for each one since they are mostly on the same few domains, but so far I have not been able to get it to work using the group policy template.

https://github.com/mozilla/policy-templates/blob/3.10/README.md#permissions

In the README it says you can't use wildcards because the policy is expecting "origins" and not "domains", whatever that is suppose to means.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Firefox is preventing from opening https://www.amazon.in/- this has started recently. Initially going to amazon US website and then redirecting from there worked, but not anymore. It keeps showing potential security issue saying "www.amazon.in has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.". The error code being displayed is SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN. However, there is no problem with any other webpage.

The only motive I can recognize or explain is to destroy my spirit and emotional world and my life i. So if you are not part of the problem, scenario that i can't avoid to have in mind, I wish solution or proposal for a more secure and functional environment. About firefox and thunderbird, basic apps for Linux.Manjaro or Ubuntu I trying to use. After many weeks I managed to signin and after my attempt to sync my phone, I received an error from you that makes me nervous. Please would you like to explain?

In my attempt to send you an image, doesn't accept odf, pdf...And my desk environment getting darker, almost hypnotic. This is a nightmare without exit for me.

In the past week or two, I find I am suddenly being logged out of every website I regularly use, including but not limited to my email, social media accounts, and shopping sites. I have all my settings set to keep me logged in, both in Firefox and on those individual sites. At first I thought the computer had updated over night, but it's happening almost every day now. Most annoying is that several of those sites require 2 or 3 steps to log back in, and it takes as much as ten minutes every day just to be able to get to everything I want to do. I know-the horror. It's an inconvenience, I understand that.

I thought the issue was with Firefox set to clear my history upon closing, so I unchecked that box, but it didn't help. I don't know if it could be an issue with one of my extensions, but I've had all of them for over a year without trouble; this has just started in the last week or so, and in that time I have not personally changed any settings in my browser. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yahoo / AT&T Email - why does Firefox appear to send too many log-in attempts to AT&T Yahoo email? This happens on my Windows 10 computer, my wife's computer and also on two computers belonging to relatives in a different state. Email works OK for a few days and then all the sudden when we try to log in, AT&T comes back and tells you you're either locked out (again) or you (again) have to change your password because of too many log-in try's. This is only on PC's running Firefox. Cell phones and iPad's all work great and never have the email log-in issue, which leads me to believe it's a Firefox problem.
