only one email kinda working now - [email 1 removed]@wolfgangforge.com (have 3 accounts total). i cannot even be sure you are getting my emails or that i am receiving any replies. when i close down ff and re-start, the email tab is gone and i must type in "https://sm1.toast.net/interface/root#/email" and login to get it running again. my most important email, [email 2 removed]@wolfgangforge.com is not. this folder has my business tabs (using the Simple Tabs add-on in ms windows 11) - about 700 tabs and about 30 groups. losing all this info would be a major disaster! it is like FF is installing for the first time and cannot find the Profiles folder. i've attached a screenshot to show the folder where the Profiles are presently kept.

i looked at the session-restore, but it appears that only goes back to the immediately previous session and since that one was fouled-up also, i can't see how that would help. wolfgang 503-475-3563

It is with deep regret to inform you of my discontinuation of the use of Firefox.

My issues began at the beginning of February this year and have continued and compounded to the point that I cannot continue its use. The issues are constantly logging me out of my account, disabling ALL my bookmarks and the loss of well over a hundred passwords. I have followed every help article and community forums help links and to no avail I'm still dealing with all the same issues. I've have to restore my links every time I'm logged out of Mozilla. Their are no passwords to restore except for the Mozilla account I just had to log back into.

Again, I do regret discontinuing its use. I have used this browser for well over a decade and I am not one for changing anything at this point in my life. I'm 67 and having to switch is indescribably painful. I actually think your integration of AI functions are the problem. Everything was just fine before that was introduced.

VPN isn't working. I'm in Italy for a week, but live in the US and want to sign up for NordVPN in the US today. But, NordVPN wants to charge me Italian tax, and must therefore know my location.

How do I show that I'm in the US?

The bookmarks and history system will not be functional" error message has been dogging me for several months. System is windows 11 home and Firefox version 151. All updates are current across windows and FF. I noticed on the about support page that FF shows that this is a NT Windows 10 OS, not Windows 11. Not sure what that means. I have followed all of the suggested fixes, multiple times. Some don't work at all and some work for a short period of time before the error message returns. The only fix that works the longest is to reinstall FF. This then requires the time consuming task of updating my settings, extensions, proxy, etc. When the next round of Windows security and / or FF updates come through the error message returns. Reluctantly getting ready to dump FF. This is my last ditch effort to find a solution. Thanks.

The new built in VPN doesn't appear to work (tried in on bluesky to bypass age verification - im 31). Is there a way to find out which country it is placing us in?

When I am in FireFox , I go to Instagram, when I am in IG, I click on a picture I want to save, a block comes up but there is NO save image button to click on.I then have to go to Google Chrome to save pictures, I have written 3or4 time to FF but no answer. Firefox has "Open previous windows and tabs" ticked in Settings. I had to force restart MacOS, and upon starting Firefox again my existing windows are invisible. They are shown in the Window menu and when right-clicking the Firefox icon in the MacOS dock, however when I select one of the windows it does not become visible. Command+` does not show the windows either.

I can however open new windows.

I tried renaming xulstore.json per this old article with no effect.

How can I make the existing windows visible again?

I’m getting a drop-down from Firefox when I’m on Firefox that says “read and sign a documents without leaving Firefox“. It dropped down window covers a document that I want to print and I cannot access the print button as a result. The drop-down has no way of removing it or moving it. How can I get rid of this drop-down?

Why are there 20 to 30 instances of firefox in my task manager when I have just 2 tabs open? It is bogging down my old laptop. I got directions to fix it from Mozilla Support, by turning off recommended performance settings and lowering content limit from 8 to 4 [although directions said I could do that right there, but I couldn't and had to go to config.] After a restart, I currently have just one tab, and there's 12 firefox, and it had gone up over 30 originally. I did a whole bunch of end tasks, but they keep coming back. Why can't I force it to only open 1 firefox for each tab? I don't want all that extra crap!

Hi, after update 137.0.1 (64-bit) using Firefox with latest Gecko driver 0.36.0 in Python Selenium stalls and fails to initiate drivers without returning initiation errors every second launch, previously this stall without returning initiation errors would happen every ~25th launch. Also when it does successfully launches previously 9 instances used to use about 95% of my 8 GB RAM, now 6 instances use 100% RAM. Nothing else in my system changed besides Firefox update.

I have not noticed this before upgrading my Mac to Sequoia 15.0, using latest Firefox browser update, but "printing to PDF" which I used in the past extensively, makes a PDF file that causes the letters to be one ASCII number off. So if I type into the "search" field "p", then all the "o's" are highlighted. I can only enter a search term if I usean "ASCII number +1" technique, so I can search for "get" by typing in "fds". Numbers are searched for as in the past. This is not happening if I make a PDF using my Safari browser, all the PDF words are correct and searchable as in the past. Anyone have insights as to why this might be occurring? I will try restarting in "safe" mode and re-downloading Firefox as is suggested in some of the articles here. Thanks!

This leaves me with 3 questions: 1. Am I supposed to know what this message in computer talk means, 2. Am I supposed to know how to restore Firefox to my computer, 3. Does this impossible to solve problem happen on Chrome

Hello, ever since I upgraded MacOS to 15.3.1 and Firefox to 135.0.1 the top menu bar seems to disappear. I do not know which is the culprit, but on MacRumors (https://www.macrumors.com/) you'll find several others with the same experience.

My personal observation is that it seems to happen on various Silicon hardware (tried 3) and when multiple tabs are active.

The bug is no showstopper, but to proceed you got to click on the (invisible) menu bar in the upper left. Thanks for reading.
