Здравствуйте уже месяц не могу загрузить свое видео на ютьюб. жду несколько часов и прогресс загрузки видео ноль. Другой браузер свободно загружает видео. Браузер мозилла удалял и устанавливал несколько раз. Помогите пожалуйста с настройками.

Hello, I have not been able to upload my video to YouTube for a month. I have been waiting for several hours and the video upload progress is zero. Another browser freely uploads videos. I have uninstalled and installed the Mozilla browser several times. Please help with the settings.

When I have Firefox open and go into a few websites, the pages start to mess up. What I see gets weird characters. Started happening maybe in Feb of 2025. Does it on multiple websites. I have to close out and shut down firefox and go back in before it is fixed. It makes it very hard to work when I have to do this all day. It started sporadically and now is multiple times a day. After being open and used for a few hours it starts to mess up. I have multiple tabs I have open and using them at the same time for work throughout the day. I have done this for years.

Firefox uses too much memory, with 1 tab 1GB+, and with 4 tabs all 3GB+, this is not normal, the forum topic did not help, reinstalled and did not help, there are no more than 6 extensions, and they consume only 160mb.

One page of Firefox 115.21 opened and Task manager memory usage for Firefox reports-:

These are ALL marked Firefox and in order on my Task Manager, the Page 'opened' was Firefox help forum ,,,, some memory usage here, is this right????

When I run firefox, the following commands lsof |grep -i firefox|grep memfd|wc -l lsof |grep -i firefox|grep memfd|grep DEL|wc -l produce values in the 20 000 or even 100 000 range.

For instance, currently with only 1 tab open - the form on which I type this question - I get $lsof |grep -i firefox|grep memfd|wc -l 19317 $lsof |grep -i firefox|grep memfd|grep DEL|wc -l 16362 And these numbers are still on the low side. In normal use (e.g., 10 tabs open), the numbers reach close to 100 000.

Although it may be a problem in lsof, this suggests that firefox performs a lot of memmaps that are later deleted, but are deleted in a way that leaves some left over state. Note that the "DEL" state in column 6 does not always agree with "(deleted)" in the right most column.

I first discovered this issue when my computer started failing with messages like pipewire-pulse[103898]: pw.mem: 0x55ce0273ac50: Failed to create memfd: Too many open files This could be a coincidence of course.

Current firefox version: 137.0 (but also occurs in other versiosn, e.g. 133.0.3) uname -r: 6.12.7-100.fc40.x86_64 OS: fedora 40

I cannot tile my Firefox windows to left or right when I choose vertical tabs mode from settings. It works fine with horizontal tabs enabled. I am using Firefox 137.0.1 on Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon 6.4.8 with Linux Kernel version 6.8.0-57-generic, display server X11.
