Then when I went to delete it could not find it so I uninstalled and got latest Firefox. Now, I cannot find my bookmarks. Please tell me the uninstall DID NOT REMOVE my bookmarks of several years!!! In the past when uninstalling, there was a check box asking do you want all bookmarks etc removed... Don't tell me that my bookmarks are gone...

I am a university professor. All of my classes use Canvas software. After last week's Firefox update, none of the embedded figures on my course pages appear - only their file name. They are showing up just fine in Chrome, so I know that the problem is somehow connected to Firefox. They also disappeared immediately after the last update.

My students and I need to be able to see the images...and I don't want to uses Chrome. I would like to know how to either return Firefox to its previous version or have the new version somehow corrected so that it gets along with Canvas.

Thank you.

the Adobe Acrobat extension stopped working. So I uninstalled it thinking I could find it on the list of add-ons and then reinstall it. However, apparently that's not the way this works. So I tried installing an upgraded version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, but the extension was not reinstalled in the process. I talked to the Adobe Acrobat help folks and they said that I have to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. I'm very worried about this because I have so many specific settings set up in Firefox and I don't want to lose any of those. Is there another workaround?

I have a new HP printer and I am using Firefox from a Windows 10 PC. I am plagued with Paper Mismatch errors when printing emails from Firefox. After a lot of trouble shooting, I have found that this problem seems to be confined to Firefox, as it does not happen when using other browsers, e.g. MS Edge. I have tried resetting all Firefox printer settings and the problem still happens when opening Firefox in Safe Mode.

The print job stops with the error message Paper Size Mismatch after the 1st page, and printing will not continue or even move on to the next job until the error is cancelled from the printer's control panel. This means I have to be working next to the printer and cannot print remotely.

In the printing dialogue box under Printing Preferences, the paper size shows Letter, whereas I am using A4 in the printer, and this is the mismatch causing the problem. I can change the paper size in Printing Preferences from Letter to A4, but I have to do this for every job seperately as the paper size setting always reverts to Letter. This is totally impracticable.

Regretably, I will have to stop using Firefox unless there is a solution. Can anyone help me to change the paper size setting to always default to A4, please? Thanks in anticipation.

I'm creating a print stylesheet, and trying to use break-after: avoid to keep headings on the same page as the following paragraph, but it doesn't seem to work.

To investigate, I created a simple page with an

in between a number of paragraphs to that the <h2> printed as the last item on the page. I then added the following styles. @media print { h2 { break-after: avoid; } } I expected the heading to move to the next page, but nothing happened. So then I added the following: CSS: @supports (break-after: avoid) { .message { display: block; } } HTML:

break-after: avoid is supported.

When I refreshed the page, the message appeared. So is break-after supported or not, or is it not supported for paged media? Or if it is supported, what am I doing wrong? MDN suggests it's been supported since Firefox 65, but maybe I'm misunderstanding the compatibility table.

Thanks in anticipation. If this is the wrong forum to ask this question, perhaps somebody could direct me to the correct one.

Why is it that Mozilla and Firefox are now promoting censorship? It seems to go against all that Mozilla Firefox (used to) stand for. Freedom is how we grow. Censorship promotes false vision of the world and cripples discernment, cognition, critical thinking and healthy growth. Censorship us thought control, which should be up to each individual. You know, the ideals of the internet?

Mozilla/Firefox is now pressuring Facebook to censor more, not less. Mozilla is now pressuring YouTube to censor more, not less. What happened? How can I fix it? Was Mozilla hacked?
Mozilla used to be a coordination of volunteers around the world helping each other. What happened!?!?!?
Is Mozilla getting funding from a big foundation now or something? (Who writes the checks makes the rules)
  How can we fix this?
