Hello. I am setting up a site on Linux server using Apache as reverse proxy , with ASP.NET as application server . since installing SSL , I had few mixed content blocking that i was managed to fix using CSP directive in Apache configuration file. site has no issue with all browser except Firefox. the only issue is that in admin section , to configure a option. system will load a js file that simply a dropdown with list of options to choose from . when using Firefox , it tries to redirect that page to login page . for test , i clicked on the link i located in Developer tools , which directed me to login page , entered my credentials, and scripts loads showing the drop down box and ok button. is been 3 weeks i been looking for every solution and i have done everything .. but nothing have worked. now I am resort to having to use other browsers if i need to use that functionality in admin page. In page header file name : login , location : http://MYDOMAIN.ca/login?ReturnUrl=%2FAdmin%2FDiscountRulesCustomerRoles%2FConfigure%3FdiscountId%3D6%26_%3D1702682353293 , which are not correct . and browser such as Brave and Safari dose not show different path and file name and everything is correct. dose anyone know how to fix this .. ? i saw a solution mentioned as stated resting Firefox ,but can not find a way to reset , but i have reinstalled Firefox and constantly having this issue on this single section of the page . at the top of the page, i get a window that says "This page is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser, stop this page. Then it has a box with the word STOP in it.

   what the heck is this and how do i make it go away?  I push the button that says stop, but it starts right up again

Whenever I try to download anything, it automatically fails. The problem just started recently and I don't know what could have caused it because I haven't done anything that could affect downloads to my knowledge. Things I've already tried are

• Reinstalling firefox (including full uninstall via "Revo Uninstaller"
• Updating firefox to the latest version (127)
• Disabled all firewalls
• Chose the save location
• Disabled all parental controls in windows
• Chose the "don't enable HTTPS mode" (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1414064)
• Tried firefox & windows safe mode (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1442742)
• Chose a different save location inside my computer (a folder other than downloads)
• Cleared download history
• Ran a chkdsk on windows

The thing is that everthing else of firefox works (browsing the web, watching videos, etc), it's only the downloads. It's also not a computer problem I think because I can download on other browsers (such as chrome and pale moon). Any help asap is appreciated.

When I try to view my pictures... Firefox has started to ask, every time... "how do I want to view this JPG file.

I must choose, Firefox, Internet explorer and so forth. I choose Firefox and it opens.

BUT.....

How do I get this message to STOP.... every blasted time I click on my pictures.

There's some stuff in the "about:config" that someone changed from true to false... I think...

What do I change back... so this annoying pop up.... stops....

I am amazed not being able to open sites like Banggood and a few others. Tried to delete all the controls on the item but it does not change the behavior of Firefox. Please inform.

Ive been using firefox for many years. The new update took away the bookmarks toolbar. My preferences are still "Always on". But, I can only access Bookmarks through a drop down menu. Just wanted you to know. Thanks

I was told eventually after clearing cookies and site data and refreshing the webpage that it doesn't work properly with Firefox and that I needed to use Google Chrome or Edge.

Can this be fixed or not?

Every time I try to make a comment to an article in Yahoo News, it gets rejected. I can't even post the word testing and it gets rejected. Attached is a screenshot.

The email associated with my account was hacked and I am seeing suspicious activity around it still. So I am changing the email or deleting accounts I am no longer using. However, firefox wants to send a confirmation email to the one that no longer exists for me to change the email on the account. How do I proceed?

Can you tell me why gmail is recently (within the past 2 months) showing that Firefox has authorized access to my gmail account? It is sometimes showing up as accessing the account minutes before I even log in. It never did this before, but I use a security key to access my gmail account--could this be causing it? The security key mfr says there is no way it can be the key causing this and suggested contacting Firefox. I have reinstalled Firefox and the same thing happens. I have never given Firefox or any other application access to my gmail account. Thank you for any answers you can provide.

When using Firefox to access Hulu Hulu does not accept my password though it does let me reset my password. I CAN access Hulu using DuckDuckGo and IE. Have not been able to get through to Hulu.

I haven't downloaded anything recently (at least not that I know of) and for the past two days now every time I open up firefox, the search bar and images glitch white. You can't see what you're typing and when you go to images on google, all of it turns white. It happens to every website I go to, certain things turn white. Doesn't happen with Chrome, just Firefox. I've cleared the cache and data on it but that doesn't do anything. I've restarted my laptop and tried to make sure it wasn't my laptop that was the problem. I'm nervous to uninstall and reinstall cause I don't want to lose my passwords saved here.

I am experiencing a significant issue with my website, which fails to load when accessed via Google Chrome. The website works perfectly on other browsers like chrome, Safari, and Edge.However, when attempting to Click here in mozila, the page remains blank and does not load at all. Additionally, I have noticed a persistent problem with reCAPTCHA. Even though I solve the CAPTCHA correctly, it repeatedly appears, preventing me from accessing the site. I am extremely frustrated with Firefox and it’s printing. This has been going on for quite some time. You’ve been playing around with what was a good and functional printer interface to one that is now a pice of junk! I have been using Mozilla since it was Netscape 2.0

I am running firefox Ver 115.3.1 esr 64 bit on a Dell Desktop running Win 7. In the past I go to a print preview and see how the print out would look on the page. I could also control, my printer functions, like color or black and white, and the quality of the printout.

Today my wife (not real computer savy) started printing several PDF files for compilation into a book/user help package. After she had printed out several articles and well over 20 pages she mentioned to me that the printer wasn’t printing correctly. I asked her what she ment. She showed me. She was printing double sided (to conserve paper). After she went to the printer and looked at the printout they were all wrong. The front side was fine, but the back side was upside down. So when she would put them in a binder, should could the 1st page fine, then flip the page, and you’d have to turn the binder over to read the 2nd page, then turn the binder around again to read the 3rd page.

This isn’t my idea of double sided. It would be fine if I was using a flip chart but not in a binder. So now I’m sitting on over 20 pages of scrap, not to mention how much ink I wasted at about $50/Black cartridge.

I sit down and try to see what she’d done. So I bring up a document, and want to print ONLY page 1 & 2 doublesided so I limit my waste of paper and ink. Sure enough it prints the backside upside down. So I change from flipping long side to flipping short side and try again. Same problem, 2nd page is upside down. I also notice that there is NO print preview, and I can no longer have access to “Printing Preferences” which allow me to change from black & white to color and vise versa, set the quality of the printout. All I can control is Black & White vs. Color, what pages I want to print and portrait & landscape.

I go over to my other desktop running Win 11 and Firefox V 119.0 (64 bit) and try printing double sided. It gives me the same options as Ver 115.3.1 esr 64 bit, AND it gives me a preview screen. So I select double sided printing and it prints the 2nd page upside down. UNSAT!

I’m in this fix because sometime in the past I did an update and you had changed the printer interface. I don’t know when it was changed, maybe before COVID. But it sure hasn’t helped me. So far I’m out over 20 pages of paper, don’t know how much printer ink, and over 3 hours in trying to figure out what’s giong on, then trying to get help, and then having you web sit drop the page I was working on so I lost this posting. Then I got smart and did it in my word processor. All in all a really frustrating day!!

Hope someone has some ideas.

I see TWO profiles listed.

As the current one isn't what I want I try the second one "launch in new browser" - as said in the notes.

All that does is throw me back to the "welcome to Firefox" page.

No, it isn't the end of the world, but I had a few open windows/tabs. (By comparison to this machine which has A LOT of windows and tabs open)

They were useful/used/needed stuff.

It is a DIFFERENT MACHINE to this one. I haven't logged in here from the OTHER machine - may in the future if required/asked.

I'll try to leave well enough alone for now, but I do need that machine and this is a huge bump in the usual smooth flow of things.

BTW - just mentioning. MANY sites showed/suggested how to restore previous sessions but they all point to the HISTORY menu and then show RESTORE OLD SESSIONS.

Doesn't exist on either of my machines.

No data shared as this is NOT the machine with the problem.

I'm confused by the latest upgrade of Firefox (Version 127.0). It gave me the option to create a new profile or Exit when starting it. So eventually I went for creating a new profile and now my old one seems lost. This is not what I wanted.

When using my shortcut on the taskbar, which I've used for years, it suddenly complained I was using an old version of Firefox. This has not happened for me in decades. I've lived with the Firefox installation on this computer for a very long time and it has smoothly upgraded in the background until now. So what is going on now with this upgrade? Is it a major new version of Firefox that doesn't migrate a current profile?

After the last firefox update, there was a change in the way screenshots are saved. Specifically, the file names are the same, only for some pages they create them uniquely as it was before. I am sending an example of a name (Screenshot 2024-06-17 a[...]) that is the same for different screenshots and therefore I always have to rename it. Before the update, this never happened, each screenshot had a unique file name, so it was saved without the need to enter a file name.

I use this feature very often and i find it very annoying to create file name and it is very impractical and time consuming. Can it be set somewhere? Or what should I do. I really like this function of firefox and I don't use another browser because of it. I don't even plan to, because I think it's the best browser and has a lot of great features. This is one of them and I'm really disappointed that it got worse with the update.
