Hi

I'm trying to develop a mtls based login, currently on macos. I have a certificate chain with 3 certificates (CA->intermediate->leaf).

Firefox prompts to select a certificate, but only the leaf is sent to the server. However when I try it on Safari all 3 are sent.

It tried both non-trusted ca and trusted ca, but I can't get it to work.

Is it something in the certificate definition? Maybe a flag I need to toggle in FF?

I am experiencing an issue with the Firefox browser when opening an HTML file, and I would like to know the cause and possible solutions. I have included the sample code in the troubleshooting section.

Issue details:

1. I have written a date input field in HTML. 2. I have set the onclick event to change the input type to "date" and the onblur event to change it back to "text". 3. When I click the input field, the calendar appears, but when I select a date, the date is not entered into the input field. I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue. When I type in entries via the keyboard, the typed letters/numbers or characters appear as random nonsence, for instance “ :'`zxcvb nghjkl; '`zx cvbnm,. /12345 67890-= ”, rendering your app unusable. The keyboard works fine on all other apps, I have to type anything I want to enter into Firefox into a word document first, copy it & then paste it into Firefox, which is what I have done here. This has been going on for some time & has not been resolved despite several updates to the latest version. What can I do to resolve the problem. I use Duck Duck Go as my search engine. Apparently, due to the latest update of Firefox, when I start this browser, I see a redirect to the home page, although I changed the settings so that when the browser starts, the last active page opens (everything was fine before). It used to be that, when I minimize a window in Firefox, there would be a Firefox icon for each window in my dock (the row of icons at the bottom of my Mac screen). When I would open Firefox, all windows would show up there; when I'd quit Firefox, the icons for the windows would disappear (leaving only the main icon for the app in my dock).

I just got a new computer (Macbook Air M2, in case that makes any difference) and I can't figure out how to make this work like it used to. Now, when I minimize a window, it just retreats to the main Firefox icon in the dock, and if I want to click on it or any other minimized window again, I need to right click on the icon and select a window from the list there, which really gets in the way of my work flow. I can't figure out how to set it like it used to be. Help!

Bonus question: The other thing I've always wanted to do, that seems like it should be possible but I don't knwo if it is — to name a window. So like, I could have a window named "Travel info" and one named "Project X" etc, so it would show the name I gave the window, rather than whatever tab happens to be currently showing, and I could see at a glance what's in the window. If there's any way to do this I'd love to know.

Until recently, I was able to print and create PDF from Mozilla browser. I can only create a PDF if I select the printer option Microsoft to PDF. For the past few weeks or so every time I try to do so the following gibberish appears in a notebook. See below:

Having a long list of bookmarks, I used to be able to scroll to the bottom, chose a bookmark there and after closing the page and opening bookmarks again, it has stayed focused around the last used one. Now, when I open bookmarks again, it has reverted back to the top and have to scroll all the way down again to the one I want. This happened since the latest update. I have not been able to find any solution in settings. Can anyone point me to a solution?

Since ver 111.0 I have not been able to use stock exchange platform onvista.de. It does not show chart and further anymore. I only see a blank body of the site, for example see https://www.onvista.de/derivate/Knock-Outs/242774026-SV3AUN-DE000SV3AUN7.

On the landing page for youtube, I used to be able to right mouse click on a video thumbnail and select "open image in a new tab" from the context menu and see the thumbnail in a new tab window.

After recent updates, (now using 111.0.1 64bit , on windows 10 pro), this feature no longer exists. It's not a change on youtube because the thumbnail is still recognized as an image and can be opened in a new tab when I use Edge browser. It seems like Firefox no longer recognizes the thumbnail as an image.

Is there any setting I can change to get the feature of "open image in new tab" back into the context menu. or somehow get Firefox to recognize the thumbnail as an image ?

Hi. When I play YouTube videos, the videos always misses the first few seconds ( about 3). I had this problem from 6 months ago.

It looks like someone has cropped all the videos. I have reloaded the video and place the video cursor at very beginning without results..

Recently converted to Firefox.

I routinely receive images from one sender that has a banner that renders two to three times the screen width no matter the screen size.

This issue doesn't occur on the Gmail Mobile app only while viewing Gmail on Firefox (The issue is not resident in Chrome).

In about:config, I see two settings for controlling the minimum amount of time for DNS cache expiration: network.dnsCacheExpiration and network.dnsCacheExpirationGracePeriod. What is the difference between them? They are both set to 60 seconds by default.

Hi Normally, I can access my Google search add-on for scientific papers but now all I receive is the following comment: Unable to access the server. Open results in a new tab. Something appears to be blocking the normal smooth access. John Menzies

I have having alot of trouble. I am unable to get Netflix to work in Normal mode of firefox. It will work in trouble shoot but not in reg mode. The page will not load all the way and than it locks up . I have done every suggestion that i have found and yet it still will not load and work. I have been trying to fix this problem for a week now. I have uninstalled and re installed 3 times now. and yet it still will not work. I have now gone to Edge to watch Netflix.

Since past few years, I use Firefox for the peace of mind... But never get that.

Every now and then many sites are not supported properly.... And it severely gives now headache....

Thinking to switch to New Web Browser....

Problematic Sites are tons of tons... Here are a few...

1. pCloud 2. Mega 3. Digiboxx 4. OrgPad 5. PhotoADKing 6. Animaker 7. Powtoon 8. SBI ....etc.

Please somebody help reach this message to original developers and not community... I'm fed up of this.

Many developers also fed up of Mozilla... and stay away from updating add-ons or extensions... I literally felt helpless many times...
