I'm porting a chrome extension to firefox: it clearly loads on the page as I see some of it working. But other things are not happening. There are no errors in either the page or the background page. So I wanted to set a breakpoint in my content page, and I followed the instruction on this page: https://extensionworkshop.com/documentation/develop/debugging/#debugging-content-scripts Which clearly shows extensions icons in the Sources/Main Thread.

But for me, there are none. The first screenshot is from the page where the extension is loaded no extension is listed, the second is from the background page for the temporary extension.

I am unable to log on to my Synology Diskstation 220+ using the Firefox browser. The device is accessed through my local IP address. I have no trouble using the Microsoft Edge browser. This problem has existed for several months and I cannot figure it out. On Firefox I have checked the ad blocker and disabled it. I tried clearing the cache. I would appreciate any ideas people could suggest. Thanks.

So how does one disable popup notifications like the one in the image?

The text just says cant show ads, disable vpn and/or adblock blah blah blah. It always pop ups when i load a page in that website

How do I stop websites from auto playing videos that I don't click on? Don't remember this being a problem before the latest updates. Getting tired of wasting my limited, paid for, data.

I am using Virb Edit 5.4.3 ( on a Windows PC) (It works fine on my Apple laptop.) and when I import GPX Metrix I get a message stating "you are using a browser that is not supported by the Google Maps JavaScript API. Being an old geezer of 75, I have no idea what that means. Is there a setting in Firefox that I can change to fix that or what? Appreciate the help. Thanks, Robin T. cannot access one particular website. either error message 'timed out' OR 'problem loading page' appears. I have tried two browers and several search engines; removed bookmark/favorites and saved password for this site

I get this error when I try to use Firefox to get to this website "www.Fieldglass.net". I get variations when I use Edge and Chrome but it does not happen with Opera. I'd appreciate any help.

recently installed new dell inspiron 3880 with windows 10. current canon mp280 printer worked normally. few days later microsoft offered an upgrade to windows 11 which I took. printer still works normally on google chrome, but when I try to print on firefox, I get a pop-up saying 'save print output as' on the top and requesting a file name on the bottom. downloaded the latest driver from canon. no improvement. how can I get the printer to work on firefox?

I am so fed up losing my pinned tabs.

I want a Firefox facility where I can have permanently pinned(locked tabs) and normal pinned tabs.

The permanent ones must not be able to be removed without myself physically clicking and removing them individually and are persistent when opening new browser instances, cannot be cleaned/removed by other cleaner programs are not saved in History.

Permanently pinned tabs should show a mark on the tab like a red padlock.

I use One Tab, but that has it's down side in that it clears my Tabs from the browser in to one single tab and then it is difficult to manage them, there are others and they all have their failings.

Please provide this locked tab facility.

But Firefox Accept-Languages header shows just "fr" as the code.

I need Firefox to pick up both the code and the region i.e. "fr-FR".

Up until the last few months, I've been able to do a Yahoo image search, click on one of the images, and click through all the images one by one, JUST seeing the images, and NOT going to the website containing the image. Now, when I do the same search, and click on an image, it goes straight to the related website. I know it's Firefox related, because it works as it used to if I use another browser. I've cleared the cache and cookies, and Yahoo history and it still doesn't work. It was fine until a few weeks ago.

I can't log into harryanddavid.com anymore because I get this error message. I have cleared browser history and cookies, and rebooted with no success.

My bank says I need to update my MacBook Air browser to version 107, but the computer says I have version 102.5.0esr (last updated in November of 2022) and says it is up to date. I've checked the automatic updates box in my settings.

So do I manually update to version 107? Is 107 available for MacBook air? (I only ask because I have a 12-year old iMac that IS running version 107)

Work with TSP officials to find out how to address problems within the TSP. Firefox crashes within the TSP and does not have full functionality. Without fixes, users will migrate to other browsers that do work such as Edge and Chrome.

after reinstalling Firefox, i no longer am able to log into any websites example: you tube, sites, etc. I've check for updates but there's none besides my current version of Firefox which so am in a weird predicament. please help thanks!

When I'm using Gmail in Firefox with the vertical split right pane for the email content, the emails do not render correctly as the email content is not wrapped.

When I try this in other browsers, the content wraps correctly. But in Firefox, I get a horizontal scroll bar.

Please can you fix this problem.

I have a website with a summary and different chapters.

I use <a id=#SOM-XX" href="#XX"> and <a id="XX" href="#SOM-XX"> tags to allow users to go back and forth between the titles of the contents and the chapters and sub-chapters. Until recently this worked well.

Since an undetermined date, on Firefox, after a first back and forth between summary and chapters, the links from the summary do not refer exactly to the chapter concerned, but slightly higher... Smiley rolleyes The phenomenon is amplified as one chooses a chapter close to the end, for example the 5th.

On the other hand, everything works normally on Chrome.

How to correct this problem?

I logged into my website using Firefox, 3 days ago and blamed the server for not allowing the images to appear in the Media Library properly. It took several attempts before the images would appear properly.

Today, when trying to upload a tiny 43KB image, the same issue happened, and again I blamed the hosting server.

However, I have tried uploading the same image to 5 different websites, using Firefox and the SAME thing happens. This time, it doesn't matter how many times I upload and delete the same image. It simply refuses to be displayed.

Back to the site I want the image uploaded in, and I used the Opera browser... POOF! Image uploads FINE and displays PERFECTLY in Opera, as well as AFTER logging out. Checking with the Brave browser, yes, it too sees the image... but when I try viewing the page in Firefox, the browser REFUSES to load the image.

I've tried 2 different computers using 2 different IP addresses, and an Android device, using Firefox and NOPE, the image REFUSES to load.

What is going on... am I the ONLY one experiencing this issue?

I've cleared cookies, I've rebooted my working computer... I've exhausted EVERY attempt at my end in trying to figure this out.

Can ANYONE shed some light on this issue please? I have many visitors to all of my sites that use Firefox, so this HAS to be resolved a.s.a.p.
