I see from your responses to others that you are a supporter of gay propaganda and are untruthful about Mr Eich's departure. I hope the 2% gay population is enough to sustain your business. You left wingers are pushing us too hard. You should get ready for push back from the majority of your customers. You have underestimated us.

You say you're dedicated to tolerance and equality and openness... If that's the case, then why can't your CEO think differently than you do? Interestingly, your president was also against gay marriage back in 2008, but I don't see any of you looking to get *him* removed from office these days. Your position is so illogical as to be absurd. You're tolerant, but only of people who think like you do. That's not tolerance.

Firefox and Thunderbird are getting uninstalled today.

Your cowardly decision to cave to totalitarian pressures and then to claim you are open and encourage diversity of thoughts and ideas is the height of hypocrisy. Because someone has a differing point of view on a topic such as gay marriage or any other issue does not mean that individual is homphobic, racist, or any other "label" anyone wishes to apply.

What happened to the First Amendment, and what happens to a company or society which wants to destroy the reputation and boycott because they have viewpoint differing from your own.

As a result of your cowardly actions I have deleted Firefox from my computer. I will also encourage others to do the same. You have a good product but your culture is NOT one of openness and diversity but one of INTOLERANCE AND BIGOTRY towards those whose opinion you disagree.

If you display a more open behavior and publicly apologize to your former CEO I would consider returning to the Firefox fold.

As is likely true for countless other long term Mozilla supporters - I've replaced all of my Mozilla products in retaliation for Brenden Eich's forced outing.

On the off chance that someone who cares actually reads this, I 'll simply comment that I have pushed non-Mozilla products aside for many years in favor of Mozilla and what I believed to be an honest pursuit of individual freedom. Your CEO resignation exposes that to be tenuous at best.

As you certainly must realize, you've really stepped in it now and the damage is really only starting.

The rub isn't whether or not me or millions like me agree or disagree with Brenden Eich's position on traditional marriage, but the utter intolerance demonstrated through these actions in the very name of freedom and tolerance.

How unfortunate. I suspect this may be the final nail on the Mozilla coffin. Time will tell.

Why are you being so mean to the creator of Javascript? Can you tolerate no other views. That is really disappointing. I will go with Opera, or Konqueror or whatever else I can find. I was a Firefox advocate, but not now. Far from it now. I choose to be anti-Firefox now. Bring the CEO back and there might be a chance, but not sure with that even. Don't bother replying.

I have probably logged more time into Firefox than any human. I have remained loyal through countless let downs. I have proven quite patient. Until you fired your CEO for a very reasonable, mainstream political view? Since I strongly share his political views, I will be leaving. In fact, I already have. This entry is being sent via Google Chrome.

There are only three reasons for marriage--complying with God's law, giving women assurance that they will not be left high and dry when a man gets bored, and protecting children. Outside of these three things, marriage kind of sucks. Of course, gays want to add a fourth reason--societal acceptance. We have all been holding our nose for a century over heterosexuals who have been using marriage as a smokescreen for societal acceptance, while they marry, cavort, divorce, remarry, and so forth, and so on, pretending to conform to this ancient law. The term 'marriage' has become so polluted that it is are meaningless anyway.

I have deleted Firefox from all of my machines (desktop and laptop) and will no longer use your browser. People who disagree still have the right to eat.

I just don't understand your thought process, and think you'd probably be much happier WITHOUT me as a user.

This is what I'm talking about: the only Mozilla channel available for discussing this in the community is the support forums, and you unilaterally close out the one ticket I opened. You characterize Eich's resignation as voluntary, when it's clear it wasn't. Just read Mitch's also-locked-out-from-comment editorial, where she actually apologizes for not pushing Eich out sooner! CLEARLY There was no way the though police would let him stay unless he apologized for holding a perfectly legitimate personal opinion AND RECANTED.

I'm part of the mozilla community. You are locking me out. You are seizing the organization and destroying individuals. You have demolished the work of one of the largest contributors to our community.

This is evil. That is why Mozilla is locking out discussion. Because those of us with an opposing view don't deserve free speech in your eyes. "Free speech for me, but not for the."
